I got the Mini Turtle just months ago. It’s absolutely beautiful and unique despite it being linked with the Seiko Turtle. Well, that Mini Tuna on the other hand is so good too! I’m not a fan of the Tuna model, but at that size and color selection you showed, I think it’s great watch and a must have as well!
I bought the MT for exactly those contours and proportions you pointed out! It’s so hard to go to other brands’ 42mm where they don’t do any of those tricks. Thanks for pointing this stuff out ... so many reviews are just about specs.
Imagine SEIKO offering QUARTZ Variants of all their Automatic. A 62MAS, MINI TURTLE with the legendary 7c46 or even the SOLAR V147 that would lure more enthusiasts. The Mini TURTLE is undeniably a modern icon. Thanks bro for the great content
I’ve been wanting to see a comparison of these two. I’ve owned the mini turtle and as much as I liked it, I just didn’t love it. I now own this grey dial mini tuna which I can honestly say I love so much. I’ve toyed around with the idea of getting another mini turtle and this video goes a long way to helping me make a decision. Thanks.
I have to be honest I love the look of the grey mini Tuna infact I prefer it over the new sumo and the MM200. I think I might have to pull the trigger on this mini Tuna.....
Seiko now produce dive watches that look like works of art. They look too nice to go diving with, if I was a diver I'd be scared in case I bashed it against a rock or something.
The more I see that gray mini Tuna the more I like it. Thanks for the excellent review.
Thanks Jeff!
I'm thinking that as well!.

I am considering both these watches and your video didn’t help me choose one, I kind of want both now xD

Loved the review. Clever idea on the 'sub optimal lighting' segment, as you say, it gives you an idea of how they look in the real world

Great review as always. Smashing watches. Can't decide between a black or blue dial mini turtle, grey mini tuna and the blue dial/aged lume monster!

Going to get my mini tuna in 2 days. So excited!!!
Much appreciation for bringing us a down to earth review on these funky Seiko !
Just got the mini tuna sand colored one. Absolutely love the watch. Actually the only SEIKO design I like.

Both are great, mini-tuna is a home run. I would remove the shroud, even it becomes less protected.
Is it easy to remove it?

Both are great watches because what you have shown are both Made In Japan!!!
I came to this video to know which one to choose, and now I want both... thanks
Love the mini Tuna.
Great color, saw one in yellow or Gold as well
I have both Mini Turtle and Baby Tuna. Mini Turtle is far better choice when it comes to dimensions.

Can confirm I've done several dives with the grey baby tuna, absolute flawless!
I think I´ve seen this video since it came out, and I can´t stop..I love this two watches so much! and I so poor! xD
Not sure why the mini turtle isn't more popular.
They changed the design. It’s not really a mini turtle. First, it’s still way too big. Second, it looks nothing like the srp turtles.
@@Ferien7 do you own one? Cause irl it is considerably smaller than the turtle
Absolutely need that Safari Mini Tuna damn never seen it before
I love it!
Could You maybe compare dial size between two of them?
The crown on the mini turtle , kind of hurt my hand, I settle by wearing it on my right hand instead. Other than that, it's a great watch.
Is 'mini' & 'baby' tuna is the same??
Is it possible to see more video about the tuna without shroud
can you do a shootout of the mini turtle and the willard reissue? that would be awesome
Sorry, don't own a Willard :(
Would the mini tuna work with a black aftermarket bracelet or is the coating colour not black?
Gunmetal
mini turtle all the way
Mini turtle reminds me of doxa T200 in a very pleasant way tbh. And it's more reminiscent of sumo shape than turtle ... No idea why ppl call it 🐢.
There was a thread on WUS saying the mini turtle has been retired -- can anyone confirm if that's true?
Probably as it was much better the skx and almost same price. With new line they can make a lot of money as price is crazy for specs
Skx new line idk how this 100m wr things are named
Love that mini tuna
is JDM the mini tuna?
I wish seiko no longer use acordion style rubber strap for their divers.
When did Seiko release the mini Tuna? I had no idea!!
Was released just recently for 2020
Love the cases but I hate those rubber straps. The first thing I would do is to change it to a nylon or perlon strap.
The Seiko rubber strap is the most uncomfortable strap I have ever tried so I couldn't live with either of these.
just slap a black steward nato strap and problem solved
