I bought mine over a year ago based on this channel. It’s a star of my collection.

I’ve had my blue SRPC39K1 for over 3 years now. I absolutely love this watch and despite having almost 30 watches, it remains one of my favourites. The blue is beautiful and I have both the factory bracelet and straps for this piece. My dealer actually sold it to me on the bracelet from one of the black models and I’ve also purchased the blue rubber strap from the SRPC41 PADI version. In the summer I wear the blue rubber and in the winter, the bracelet. The compact sizing, Seiko design language and exceptional value of this watch is off the charts. I have to agree with others that the cyclops bugs me, and I prefer it without the cyclops. Since my warranty is up, my SRPC39 is now sitting at my watchmaker to get the Crystal Times double domed sapphire installed. I also picked up a lumed sapphire bezel inlay from LCBI that I may or may not install. Not sure if I’ll do the mod now, or just wait until the stock aluminum insert gets a nick. I never really understood why these never really caught on as I think it’s probably one of the top 3 Seiko watches of the last decade.

Just bought the blue dialed mini turtle used and I'm extremely happy. Might pick up the black or green model next

I got the black and red one and I thought exactly the same thing about being my only diver, the thought of getting rid of my Omega SMP crossed my mind…But then again, I am also a lunatic and a maniac, so I got a Willard and two Tunas instead.

I agree on the blue dial, it is really nice. I have to disagree on the crystal though. I love my Tuna, but the scratches on it drive me crazy. A sapphire crystal would be a big improvement at very little cost.

Do we think there are gonna be more mini turtles in the future? Love these things man. The indices are so unique. Especially like the 12. And of course the size and lug to lug are awesome. Fun and versatile just as you said

You never know with Seiko, but I don't think these reached enough commercial success to expect more, but would be happy to be proven wrong, lol

It I were to judge by the case style, I always found this to be more like a mini Sumo. Just the way the case has similar twisted style lugs and how the bezel partially insets into the case sides just like the Sumo.
I might have also preferred this if it had the 3:45 position crown.
Otherwise, a fine example of Seiko dive watch design that generally still retains classic Seiko value.

But the sides of the case flares out like the turtle. Hence the mini turtle name. Sumo looks nothing like this.

I already had the blue one and saw the frost version. Bought it immediately. You might want to check it out.

Mine is JDM,perfectly aligned, and the 4R35 keeps +/-0/secday, and I realise this is lucky but I am really happy with it.

Do you wear the dive watch in the pool just because you can? Or is there a purpose to it?

Hardlex is a deal breaker. I do a lot of sailing and my crystals take a beating. The new black series looks intriguing. Have you reviewed them?

Not really into Seiko. Hardlex, cheap bracelets and pressed clasps.

I love mine, but I did swap out the crystal. I can't stand a cyclops, I find it gets in the way more than it helps. Here's a few pics of mine, the jade green, with a double domed sapphire ::

FWIW the crystal is from CrystalTimes, it's the same one for Monsters. I originally wanted a flat crystal but no one offered a flat crystal in the right size with a clear AR coating. Having now installed the double domed crystal however, I really like it, and I think it fits the curvy/bubbley shape of the case.

Where did you buy the jubilee strap from? Is it the cheap and flimsy one that come standard on an SKX? Or something similar to the upgraded jubilee sold on Strapcode?
