- After waiting the last 10 years I finally got tickets to the Goodwood Festival of speed 2023. I have wanted to go to the worlds best car show for most of my adult life and never got organised to buy a ticket and make the very long drive there. This was the year I made it and wow, what a day. Follow me on this epic day, finding out what makes the festival of speed so special and why so many people make the annual pilgrimage to the site. Of course this being 2023, this was the year it was famously cancelled due to high winds and rain. Lucky for us we had tickets booked for the Thursday and Friday and not the dreaded Saturday where the whole thing was called off.
To mark the 75th anniversary of Porsche, Porsche headlined the festival and created the most amazing stands around the site, a celebration of all things Porsche I could hardly miss.

Imagine a car event with only electric cars?? How boring would that be?? It just wouldn’t be the same.
I see some electric cars go around Brands Hatch, all you could hear was road noise 😢
