Very well done! I agree with what your take home point is... as I am living that way with my career too. I am doing everything in my power to live my dreams... and that is why I have accomplished some awesome feats in my young career so far.
I remember when I thought about getting on the TEDx stage for the second time earlier this year. A thought in my head at the time was, "I want to do it, but I don't feel like I am the most credentialed person to accomplish this historic feat for my profession." But, I quickly countered the argument by having another though, "You know... are you really going to let your opportunity to make history slip away? I know you want to be selfless... but sometimes you got to shoot the ball if somebody pass it to you." My second thought won out... and I am glad I took the plunge. Now I am motivating my peers in the field of occupational therapy because now the bar for TEDx has been raised. I know I am not the most accomplished one. But I know I feel special by making history in a profession that I come to love... where nobody will ever be able to take away that accomplishment from me.
