Credit to Dewalt. This gun has changed in all aspects of its quieter, faster and looks a lot better and the extended magazine is another great option. Besides Paslode, Dewalt and Bosch have the true cordless nailers… but time will tell. Hopefully servicing will be easy as well.
He really didn’t want to admit the extended mag was extra.
God Bless you, Vince. Your videos helped me when I came home after being overseas for a long time and when I didn’t know what tools to get. Wife and I bought a fixer upper and started a business. Much love and thanks for the years of advice and entertainment, Trevor. Hawkins & Co. Leather
Good lord thank you so much for the kind words & the help with the channel, it means alot to us, I'm glad the videos are helpful! Good luck to you and your wife on your endeavor, I'm gonna check out your channel, does it showcase your business?
The yellow shirts one upped the red shirts on that tool storage system
They sure are trying!
Nice! Love being part of the “DeGang” liked and subscribed
Welcome aboard!
I love my packout, but I did pick up some of the regular style dewalt drawers and I think they are much nicer than the packout. These new xl drawers look awesome
Excited for that framing nailer! As for tool storage, Tough Built Stack Tech will be the king after they release more products
@VCG Construction Picked up the 23g nailer for Xmas. That thing is incredible
Really Blake, what do you like about it compared to others?
The none pressure safety. The weight of the unit is not to light, but not heavy. Cant wait to start my home trim job after I get the Flex Miter saw!!!
I'd be interested to see if those extended magazines can fit on the 1st gen. I've always wanted an extended mag on my 30°, feel like I constantly have to reload with the original
is the 21° available yet with the extended magazine? I want to try it before I buy it. I wonder what the price point is in relation to Milwaukee?
I just bought the old 21 version now i gotta buy this
Okay, DeWalt... now finally give us a cordless fencing/siding nailer!!
What's the weight like on the framing nailer compared to a pneumatic one when your working at heights it's hard to use a heavy piece of equipment
I’ll try and get more details but Chris said we’d have to wait till closer to release!
Is Toughsystem DXL IP 54 ?
Very cool but difficult to carry
Great video Vince as always 🎉
You're the best, thanks Cesar!
@@VCGConstruction you’re the man sir Hans down 🙌🏻
Idk if it just the framing nailer that they shipped to illinois but anyone I've ever met that has a dewalt framing nailer hates it. If they even still work. I know on my crew we bought 5 and non of them lasted longer than 2 months. Not quit using. Like they quit working. And when they did work they jammed so much. Basically if u wasn't nailing into a clean single 2x4 then it was either jamming or wasn't setting nail to full depth. Even after sending in for repairs multiple times they still didn't last afterward. And they wasn't mistreated. They was babies tbh just because spent so much money on them and they wasn't lasting. In my opinion get a metabo, Rigid, or even a ryobi. They are all great nailer. Work very well and don't jam very often at all. Even shooting through truss plates. Dewalt framing nailer are junk. Do not recommend to buy to anyone!
I had the same experience...got it recently and it's been jamming from day 1....returning it and not sure if I should get the new gen or something else
In going to go crazy with these
@ :32..he said the tools are bigger😊 yet if you don't have the TS2.0 boxes to shell in your circular saw, your concrete cut-off saw, all other bigger tools, how are you gonna haul them? FYI Dewalt, your competitor Milwaukee listened and released a deep rolling drawer for such tools. Seems you need to look at what's being demanded!
I’m really hoping their new framers hold up this time
I have the older 692 . Am happy with it but it lacked the power of a Pasloade . This new version looks on par with the competition. Am excited for the direction of dewalt. Glad too because don’t have the money or the energy to switch everything to red . A lot of contractors in my area have switched over the past 3 years .
Nice!
DeWalt needs to add the locking bar back to the tough system
i like framing nailers.
Hi Vince, I'm wondering if anyone has done a cordless coil nailer yet? We primarily use 15 degree 3" coils at work and I'd love to cut the cord if possible.
They’re finally improving on ToughSystem more and more… the battery charger didn’t wow me and I don’t care much for half boxes… no vacuum or laser level boxes… I went with flex StackPack with Black Friday promos. Still using mainly Dewalt power tools along with a few more M12 items.
They do have 2 style of vacs for ToughSystem. A stackable HEPA vac & a more traditional canister style vac that you can stack boxes on top as well.
@@VCGConstruction I’ve only seen the FlexVolt vacuum that’s compatible with T-Stak. I just want that’s like the M12/M18 vacuums that easily clips on top of all my other boxes… but I’ll just go all in on StackPack. Lots of great features and modularity there.
I'm ready for that new gun
🤞 for a 2.0 roofing nailer
When will the framing nailer be available?
th-cam.com/users/clipUgkxYmf-UYwFclCdLgGklRYE_8rFaTo1cXOO?si=2CIN0OePqh4zTEfV
Milwaukee will copy soon
Dang perfect timing I was going to get the cordless dewalt framing gun 21 degree but they have a new one with a actual rafter hook and hopefully it comes with one of those powerstack batteries.
I’d wait if you can!
or just buy a milwaukee one and enjoy and better product and warranty process.
@@lukemullen7674 I have dewalt stuff. This may will be 3 years of all my dewalt tools, I had no issues with them for every day framing.
What are the code of those new framing nailers? When does it came out?
Just saw it's already in stock in Mississauga Tools Canada ... so weird none of the big names got it first
When the nailers coming out
This is their come back at Milwaukee
I really want a large drawer for the toughsytem 2.0. I already have about $700 in it
I really like the wider more shallow drawer Chris had that huge rotary hammer tucked away in!
that or sell the main wheeled bottom unit with a sliding door / lift up/down door / or drawer feature. it’s just a waste of storage, and is usually empty since you gotta dissassemble to access… It’s also wider than others which is annoying… they shoulda made it narrower by tucking in the wheels more. Also they should do a blackout version with one single yellow accented piece… not this trim yellow bougie looking shiny thing… other than that I own the drawer main unit and top drill case. I only use the drawer which sits on my utility cart. It’s awesome and they should make a single big drawer I can put on the bottom tier of my cart.
@@DRINOMANthe wheels not digging too far into the box is one of the reasons I chose it
I guess it's a case by case preference. I don't like it because sometimes in construction you gotta squeeze between peoples carts and have a wide wheel base makes it challenging.@@christophercrawford2736
Vinny did they get rid of tge flywheel yet???
They did not get rid of the flywheel
DeWalts framing nailers can now finally compete with milwaukees that have been out for years!
Hey if they make it more reliable than the M18 (less time in for repair), that's an auto win.
This is my only hope left. I was waiting for makita to come out with a cordless framing gun. Now I heard it weighs 11lbs with a battery 😭 that’s a instant loss
Great looking nailers: Now, give us sticks of duplex nails, or drivable screws with torx heads, to make it easier to strip and break down the forms when your done.
When the humidity is high my testicles tend to stick to my leg.
I dont really see the dolly go over rough roads that easy with the small wheels
As a door guy. I need that cart
Everything in its place makes a craftsman much faster!
It be nice if the 30 degree nailer is any good.
Q3 you’ll be able to find out for yourself!
Are they lighter or not ?
I just hope that the drawers will not rub together like the packout when they have weight in them..... When you open and close the drawers, their bottoms rub on top of the other. It was the only thing that kept me for buying them. :(
No ramp up on the nail guns😱
8:26 is exactly why real framers run phenumatic guns. By all means cordless is awesome. Milwaukee, Metabo, Dewalt, Rigid, they will not compete to a NR90 series all day!
Dewalt fix the 12 inch cordless miter saw . Broken 3 in 3 months.
The right side arm . Difectiv.
DEWALT!We need a rolling toolbox with a front door so that can open without having to remove the other boxes on top of!!
I'm a dewalt fan, the dcn692 honestly annoys me, especially since it's new. Let's hope that the new guns are much better.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s about time they’re stepping up their modular game… and I’m glad they’re doing. However they’re doing it wayyyy too slow to keep up. Milwaukee is eons ahead in the modular world. Not to mention they kill it in the chest work station as well. Which dewalt has just completely abandoned. I own dewalt everything but am still rocking harbor freight cheapos hoping for the day dewalt goes back into some bigger chest, cart, cabinet, hutch type stuff. My job site is the home not rolling off a truck or trailer and I wanna match everything😭😭😂😂
lol to the old framing nailer fix with the new 1 its about time lol i hate my older framer it was a super fail they need to give the people who buy that the new 1 free because that was just a hell of a time of using and that is not a good hell of a time its the worst
Dewalt frame gun is the craftsman frame gun just coated in yellow
No just the same shell. It will have better internals.
I have all dewalt tools and batteries which is why I bought the Dewalt framing nailer but I would rather use the Milwaukee. The dewalt framing nailers are just too bulky, they really screwed up by not slimming down their design on this new model.
Now fix that Dewalt 18G brand nailer recoil problem
Never used it, tell me about the recoil problem!
@@VCGConstruction never head of that problem? You have got to be kidding. The 18G brad nailer has a major problem. The flywheel ramps up, then when the striker launches, the force recoils and lifts the tool up, right before the nails gets set into the work. The result is brad heads sticking out. Not good for molding or precision work. Even the old 18V Ryobi sets the brad more consistent. Then there's the "no-mar" tip. It's hard plastic that punches a dent in the work. A separate micky mouse design tip has to be purchased. I want to love the tool. I really do, but it under performs. I hope Dewalt makes a new design one similar to the 23G pinner performance.
Sounds like you aren’t holding the nailer down with enough force, did you read the directions fully?
I have one , haven’t had any issues it’s awesome . I did have to replace the no mar tip because it was lost on a job . No difference in using an air tool except the hose .
Regarding tool storage I can say Im loyal to Milwaukee. I think they still have everyone beat hands down. Regarding tools Im not loyal to any brand. Im always going to buy the brand that has the best framing nailer, impact driver, circular saw. Just seems like the common sense thing to do. Now I will say that I might have more tools of a certain brand than the other but if Im going today to buy a new tool Im going to buy what brand is the best currently.
looks like vance will ditch milwaukee packout soon lol
Nah, I paid good money for all my boxes, I’ll use them until they break. Still got Bosch L boxes in service!
@@VCGConstruction wow. i thought milwaukee gave most of it for promotions
Maybe this dewalt nailer can shoot more than 100,000 nails before a rebuild
ZACH SEAN
Toughbuilt still blows them out of the water he lied about dewalt not locking people out I waited 8years for a tstak toughsystem adapter no more I own nothing but dewalt tools but the storage will be Toughbuilt
I think husky makes better tool storage 😂
iam a big fan of dewalt . but i believe milwakee has better tool storage
What exactly do you think makes it better?
@@VCGConstruction the locking system is much better. It’s easier to get third-party accessories . The build quality is better. the tool show already proved that. And it’s a larger platform. Plus they honestly just look better.
@@steffendetricklol it's all preference bro, nothing you say is fact😂
Don’t stress mate, it’s only for the blokes already on that platform.
@VCGConstruction I totally agree the Packout is way better then 2.0, I have been using 2.0 since it first came out and about to switch to Packout because it looks better and you have so many more options with it then you 2.0. All the guys I work with all use Packout. I am a Dewalt guy all I use is Dewalt except my nailers which is my next point I bought the Dewalt 18 GA and took it back after 1 day and I bought the Milwaukee and have never looked back, the Milwaukee are better. I refuse to switch 100% to Milwaukee because I love my Dewalt tools, I use then every day all day.
That guy in the yellow shirt should treat that nail gun as if it's a REAL GUN! Aim it down and away from people! He needs to remove the battery just in case the nail gun goes off
I hired a DeWalt nail gun,it was 💩,
I went and bought a Paslode first and second fix and hikoki second fix.
The DeWalt doesn't even come close.
Huh?
No one in concrete is using a framing nailer 😂
*_Why you say that?_*
@@VCGConstruction because I’ve worked in concrete for over 23 years in both commercial and residential, watch tons of concrete TH-cam channels across the county and can confidently say I’ve never seen any forms set with a framing nailer 😂
@@jacobs-uo6siyou’ll be surprised how many concrete crews have Paslode guns especially here in Australia. I’ve seen west coast crews with Paslode on huge sites in Cali.
What i hate about nailers..... the guys has a loaded nailer, with battery inside, and pointing towards... uhmmm @7:59
Accidents happens.. just saying.
What a disappointment!!!
All my tools are Dewalt.
I was hoping you people would have done your homework and make that bulking heavy weight monster lighter.
That’s the problem keeping the same size, shape and old style of the previous cordless framing nailer is not an improvement. I am not impressed. Innovating means making things different, ergonomic, lighter and efficient, e.g. the Milwaukee M18 Duplex Nailer.
This sales guy is kinda cringe man
the old cordless framer is complete and utter ass. I dont care what anybody says, I've used 8-10 different units, full time type situations and i would NEVER recommend them to anyone. I absolutely despise those nailers. And anyone who has used one for more than a few hours has to agree.
