it's ok to 'copy' the singer's voice- it can help with practicing techniques and register changes. and like everyone says, you can try to make it your own. this is more easy when doing a song sung by someone of your opposite gender. but if you're singing a song sung by a voice that's similar to your tone, just try to enunciate, and don't do too much with your voice. sometimes less is more. a perfect example is Miley Cyrus's (haha) cover of Ariana Grande's "No Tears Left To Cry". the two performances are completely different!
I lead worship for a small church every week and since watching your channel, I have been able to really pinpoint techniques and implement them into my singing so I can build power in songs without needing to sing louder. So thanks!

they are! I do really like them. Sound great for the price without being too flimsy. I've also tried several Etymotic earbuds but they go quite deep into the ear which is uncomfortable for filming or casual use where I'm taking them in and out all the time.
