on the topic of sorting, I use the yellow stickers. The Sub-same day warehouse I go to does the UP1XX, UP2XX, UP3XX, UP4XX. I put the 100s in the front seat, 200s and 300s in my trunk(left and right side), and the 400s in the backseat. I'm sorted in less than 10 mins, and since the app gives you the label number at each stop, it only takes me about a minute to find it in each section.
Someone recent told me about this at my location and it seemed to work. Gonna try it 💯 because it was starting to do it ^ this way by numbering the stops. The guy that told me had scanned, organized and was done before me and I started before him.

To anyone starting Amazon flex: To make it easier for you guys having trouble. First do a couple 3 hour shifts. It’s short, and easier to manage. Then work your way up to the longer shifts if that’s what your goal is.
As a person that used to work for amazon delivering 40 packages an hour speed and efficiency is a plus and I used to just right the house number on the side on the box so it’s easy to find doing it like that you waste to much time.

My station uses big plastic tote bags for the majority of the packages. These bags have three numbers on the outside. On my app, it shows the ID of the tote bags with a string of numbers and characters, including those three numbers. I call those bags the zones of my route. The routes in my area are designed to deliver all the packages from one tote before moving onto the packages from the next tote. Due to this, the tote bag that was shown up top on flex at the station, all those packages go on my passenger side. I know my passenger side should be empty before I move onto the back and/or trunk. This is the easiest way to organize packages from my station.
to me I organize different but I'm not sure if that's because of the station. I use the stickers usually. for a 3-hour block I get done in 1hr and half or less and I wait for the pay to go up on the blocks if they don't go up, I don't take it usually I get orders for $29+ up but today I took a base pay which is $21.49 hr. which isn't bad, but lots wear tear on the car
What OBLITERATED me in my last route was the service. The service in the area was TERRIBLE so I couldn’t log in the app, scan packages, nothing. I had to keep driving OUT to the highway and right back. Waste of time and gas.
My first day was absolutely brutal. Don't be fooled by anyone that says this is an easy job cuz it isn't. If you delivery in a location with horrible terrain that will be more miserable than a nice residential suburb. Going to try one more day and see how it goes but so far door dash is much better

I never organize packages and I always finish very early. People making a big issue with organizing packages. Just put them trunk back seat and some front seat and you all set to go.
@@SaraElizabethYT nope you don't need to do that. As you know facility stuff sorted them and place them into the big boxes. So let's say there are 40 packages and 2 areas 20 packages each area so two boxes. 20 you put trunk and 20 backseat. When you drop your first package you prepare your next package before moving.
My warehouse has them thrown in the cart randomly. Every warehouse is different and if people are making it a big issue like you said, it's because their warehouse does this too.
@@SaraElizabethYT sorry I thought it is the same everywhere. But you are right it is different in different warehouses. Some are more organized some not and this definitely affects flex drivers performance.

I did my 2nd block today at 3 I panicked because it was more packages then my 1st and it took forever to scan them so I didn't organize since I was being rushed by stares, thankfully one stop had13 packages and I actually was able to snag another for 7pm...it was supposed to be 3hrs also it had 4 Items! I made $92 in 53 mins 🖤🤑🙏
So you leave the package outside only then take pics? What about when someone opens the door? Personally I'd rather receive the package in person than it be left outside for someone else to steal. If someone meets you how do you make it as left when can't take a pic?
Sarah Elizabeth….Anyone??? How is this handled re scanning if there is one scan for the whole cart? Do we scan again at the car and then go to the Itinerary and individually scan in the right hand corner for stop number? I am just confused because there are so many different comments on this and I’m not sure exactly how yours worked.
I’m new. When I pick up it only has me scan one package and the whole list loads itself. That makes this method not ideal but I don’t know if because I’m new I’m doing something wrong or maybe there’s an option I’m missing… or have they changed things?
So you scan them all once, then go into itenerary and scan them all again? That might be hard if you have 40 or 50 packages as you have to put them was somewhere after scanning them the 1st time. Any tips for that?
Yes. I recommend clearing everything out of your backseat and trunk scan the packages one time put them in 1 place and then when you scan them for the 2nd time you write the number on them and then separate them as you go. Like the 1st 10 packages in your passenger seats, 11-20 behind driver seat...exc..

Hi Sara I use to be a Amazon delivery driver and since your just starting out it might be called a nursery route since there aren't alot of packages. Nursery routes are usually small routes when you first start and the yellow stickers are the route number you put them in order it's easier that way and not by street or address.
We all (sometimes 20+ cars) load up at same time. I’m trying to find the easiest way to sort and not hold everyone up. They won’t let anyone leave until everyone is ready to go.
After scanning and leaving the package in their doorstep, do you ring/knock the doorbell so they know to come out. Or do you just leave? I’ve heard many people appreciate a ring on their doorbell so they know at least.
I don't. Some ppl might get mad, might have a sleeping baby or working. Unless they leave a note requesting that. Plus the picture taken gets sent to their app and an email confirming it was delivered.

Last night my 4 hour had 40 stops with 44 packages, and my 3 hour had 17 stops with 19 packages.
Is that seffner ,VFL4?
on the topic of sorting, I use the yellow stickers.
Is the 100s the first stops?
@@sarinawinters1109 no they're not.
Thank you so much for your tips on how to organize. I organized my packages by stops and I saved so much time I finished my block 45 minutes early. Keep up the great content 😁
how much can you be earning by a 4 hours block with 40 packages? could you give me an approximate?
It depends I just did a 4 hour block with 40 packages and did not accept the base pay. I waited close to the time it started and pay out was 145$ :)
Delivering 40 packages an hour..that's 🧢🧢
@@Urmak85 bro 40 boxes in 1 hour no that's fucking cap 😂😂💀 i got 46 and I was only available to do 26 and not in 1 hour it took me like 4 hours why the stupid app does work right, second the distance is crazy.
I am going to try this on my next block. Thanks for the tip.
Let me know how it goes!
I never organize…I do a 5 hour route and I’m usually done 90 minutes faster. I’ve never had any problems. I love the job. Been doing it since 2020.
how is the pay with amazon flex
Have you ever done the available now option?
Welcome to the Flex club sis. Awesome video ❤️❤️👍
So helpful as today is my 1st day doing flex. Looking forward to implementing some of your methods to make things seamless as possible
Ok I’m kinda slow haha
Does this system ensure you don’t go all over town back and forth but rather just go kinda in a row?
So for example organize them 1-30 write the number on the box or envelope then espérate them in two sections(or so)? Also Does this really save time or is it the same as just loading up quickly and not wasting time marking them?
What type of phone holder do you have?
Long Neck Magnet Phone Mount (in his truck) www.amazon.com/dp/B075N47DVJ?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_0PW8454WF5W1TFWF2NB4
Short Neck Magnet Phone Holder (in my car) www.amazon.com/dp/B0989XSZBB?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_49QAQC20HXTFWHA6WCCS
They come with Magnet strips but I prefer this Ring Magnet www.amazon.com/dp/B07V6X4HXP?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_CT5RAXY8Z5K1BQQQDVF3
So you scan each packages instead of scanning the tote bag with all the packages?
This was filmed before you had 1 thing to scan. We had to scan every item
Thank you soo much for the tips … my app doesn’t let me scan individual tho
Thank you much for sharing this. I was about to tear hair out and quit. Is it better to sort the packages first and then scan them second?
to me I organize different but I'm not sure if that's because of the station.
So with this number system? Is it suggested that orders on the same street are bunched in with this method?
You’re fantastic!
Thank you! If you have any questions please let me know.
NICE JOB WITH THE "NUMBERING DROPOFF PROCESS' '100' '100'
Thank you very very much ❤
What OBLITERATED me in my last route was the service. The service in the area was TERRIBLE so I couldn’t log in the app, scan packages, nothing. I had to keep driving OUT to the highway and right back. Waste of time and gas.
How do you switch from Amazon flex to Amazon fresh on the app
I've already tried to scan my packages, but I don't know why I can't with my Android Cellphone. 😢
I just find the number wicked easy now
Yea it took me a few blocks to get the hang of it.
Not today's run numbers were funny address run
thanks for this video, it was very useful for me.
My first day was absolutely brutal. Don't be fooled by anyone that says this is an easy job cuz it isn't. If you delivery in a location with horrible terrain that will be more miserable than a nice residential suburb. Going to try one more day and see how it goes but so far door dash is much better
Update.
TY ! To each its own
Me too my first day was a disaster , I have my Van , and i did 8 hours block, I couldn’t finished because i didn’t have a clue about this job . I was so exhausted, tired and very stressed, terrible day 😢
Amazon flex isn’t for everyone, I do 160 drops a day, u start at 10am and am finished by 5pm.
@@gracielaaliaga8465 To make it easier for you. First do a 3 hour shift. It’s short, and easier to manage. Then work your way up to the bigger shifts.
I got a question, after i finish my block, this happened to my Twice so far, I still have some boxes 📦, I obviously gave them back but how can I avoid this and also what can I do if this happens again?
U look so hardworking lady 🙏 thx for the video
Is this outdated? The yellow tag shows trip order for me. I just started this week
I never organize packages and I always finish very early. People making a big issue with organizing packages. Just put them trunk back seat and some front seat and you all set to go.
So you search through 40 packages at each drop-off?
Hi could you tell me how can I sign up for Amazon flex.. thx
When you do food deliveries…. Do you find that the food stench lingers in your car’s cabin the next day??
No not for that long. Many an hour or too
Thanks for this video
👏Thank you your videos are extremely helpful!! I'm new to Florida and Gig work I'm loving both so far 🖤amazing way to learn my new area and more coins always helps🤑
Not sure if this is true, but I’ve heard several flex drivers say that you can get up to 50 packages in a block
Yes go into itinerary and scan packages to get the stop #. Sorry I filmed this before they updated with the single scan for the whole cart.
@@SaraElizabethYT thank you. I know I’m just dense sometimes.
No problem at all!
Thank you
So on your first drop if you have like 3 packages you would put the same number on all 3?
Just sucks cause everyone always in a rush cause we all leave @ the same time
Thanks for the video!! Where’d you get your phone car mount from?

Hi Sara I use to be a Amazon delivery driver and since your just starting out it might be called a nursery route since there aren't alot of packages. Nursery routes are usually small routes when you first start and the yellow stickers are the route number you put them in order it's easier that way and not by street or address.
Not all are yellow
My first one I got 45 packages
This is flex. Not a normal delivery route from a dispatch. I am a current dispatch driver.
Keep posting this. I love watching your videos 👋👋👋
I'm really enjoying your videos, I'm doing my first amazon flex today and I'm so nervous. Your videos have been so helpful. I do Uber Eats too and followed those videos you had as well. Wish me luck! 😊 I was so happy to find your videos on Amazon flex!!
Hi! I delivered 2 packages late. All the rest were on time. They were in the middle which means they had a time limit. How do you notice those to get to them first. Or what is a good suggestion.
Do you pick up in Sefner? Just got approved today and found out the warehouse is 16 miles away.🤣
