Keep the reviews coming they are great, maybe you can even review places like beauty/hair salon, clothing boutiques etc. It looks like you do a lot of DIY, but even where you would go to get your supplies would be cool, just some ideas...

Hello Slava and Karen! I'm Jackie and my hubby is Markku, a retired old couple from Eastern Oregon high altitude desert but originally from Japan and Finland. We moved here to Cuenca in February and absolutely LOVE living here! Your videos are very interesting and I hope to vacation to Ecuador soon. Making videos about the cost and how good the meals are, deserves a thumbs up from me! My father was born in Guayaquil and my mom is from Santa Tecla El Salvador. Your videos give the audience a great idea as to how much the cost of living would be if when and where I decide to go either Ecuador or, El Salvador... I appreciate your vid'z so, please rate your restarauant experience and how good the food is on a scale of 1 through 10 is with 10 being the best tasting and cost is... just an idea... thank you and stay safe with all the crazy variants out there!

Cuenca is my home city but currently I live in USA. My wife is from here and we are so excited to go to Cuenca this year for a vacation. Hope we can meet u there. Also, u guys should try my friends restaurant, is called Pampa La Mesa in downtown Cuenca. He Is a chef and recently started his own business. take care guys and thank you for showing my beautiful city.

Have you tried "el vegetariano" in cuenca? its a vegetarian restaurant and food was great when I visited last year. Cheers.

Hi guys, nice video. I'm traveling to Guayaquil in February and have one week to do as much as possible. Can you give me a list of your top things to do for day trips? Also, I may have the opportunity to stay in Salinas or Montanita. Do you have any info on those areas? Thanks!
One I'm a BIG fan of you guys! You are doing great videos! I would love to rent a room when I visit esp if you could show me around a little. I am looking at cuenca for semi retirement, get out of the high price fast paced american life and slow down a bit. at first I thought chiang mai, but having experience it, its down to maduro, tamarindo, or cuenca. good job guys!!! p.s. your necklace at the fancy mall restaurant was off the hook! p.s. i love the dragon fly necklace!

I hope to vacation there soon. How would you describe Ecuador's economy and political stance in this world as compared to the U.S?
I know that may be a difficult question to answer but your perspective while there is invaluable...
The U.S is transitioning from a huge recession. The slow growth may have depressed people as the recovery has not been as swift as they would have anticipated. Now, we will be transitioning again.
Using the U.S history as a guideline. What stage would you consider Ecuador to be in?
Example: the new deal? The roaring 20's.. the depression, the new deal, etc

I think when I'm there I could asses the country as a whole. I'm guessing it will take a few months in order to gather all the information.
Only reason I'm asking is my intentions to purchase a home for retirement. I'd hate to invest too much money on a place with no data to support my investment...
