- It has been some time since I made a video about stock sales and trends. Here it is. I hope it is helpful.
One new trend is that I am seeing more first-person or point of view clip sales. If you don't have these in your portfolio, you might want to consider it now.
Please let me know if you have any tips, observations, comments, or little jewels of wisdom. - ภาพยนตร์และแอนิเมชัน

Craig, that means a lot to me and is much appreciated.
Thank you for the honest and very authentic explanation. The channel is by far the best about stock footage/blackbox!
By the way... beautiful light setup!!!

Glad you found this helpful!
Thank you sir I appreciate you sharing your experience
I am so glad that you found it helpful.
Thanks for taking the time again! I am always looking for motivation to shoot more, or differently. This helps, thank you!
I feel the same about your videos, Wesley. I especially enjoy the stormy time lapses.
@boycefitzgerald Thank you! I hope this weeks weather brings in some new opportunities for weather timelapses!
:)
Thanks for watching!
Boyce, thanks for another great video! I was wondering, is there a way to delete a video clip from Blackbox?
Thanks for watching and for the important question. The only way I know of is to email info@blackbox.global with the file name of the clip. They generally respond quickly but it can take a day or two for the clip to be removed. If you want many removed, it will take longer. Best of luck.
@@boycefitzgerald ok, Great! thanks for the info.
Do you find that simple moves sell better or worse? I.e. with this establishing shots does a simple pull back with no nimble movement work better? Do you have thoughts on that? Moves can get complicated and I was curious if you thought simple movements were better.
I found it best to have no movement at all (on a tripod) or very simple moves (for example on a drone). Just pullback, ascending, descending, or forward flyover sell most. I have practiced more complex moves, but those basic movements sell over and over.
thanks. Enjoy your videos!@@boycefitzgerald
@@JWhyte123 - that means a lot to me. Thank you.
Hello Boyce, thank you so much for this. I finally started my black box adventure :) uploading 70 videos per week which is the max allowed. I can't wait to see the first sale coming in :). It was interesting to learn about the first-person clips, because I am taking a lot of those especially driving. What do you think is the best device for holding the camera/phone? At the moment I am just holding my phone in my hand but it's not a very safe way to do that. I drive a lot, in interesting places, but it's not my car because I rent a car everywhere I go, so a dash camera is not an option. Nor a fixed gopro mount. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. :) Thanks a lot for sharing your wisdom!
That is something I have never tried. I mount a GoPro to the hood with a suction cup mount or on a stick through the sunroof. I would be worried to do that with a smartphone. There might be a mount out there that would work.
Congratulations on uploading clips. That’s a great start. I bet you will have a sell soon.
@@boycefitzgerald Thanks a lot :) I do have a GoPro, do you think It's safe to mount it on the hood with a suction cup? it wouldn't fly away?
@@boundlessroads this one has never failed me:

@@boundlessroads - I used to tether the GoPro to part of the car like a wiper blade or door handle. But it has never come loose even in rain and high winds so I don’t bother anymore. That SeaSucker will not budge.
@@boycefitzgerald good to know thanks a lot
Hello friend, thanks for the video, a new subscriber greets you, from Mexico City, I thank you for all the information you offer in your videos, I wanted to ask you, I have doubts about applying for the subscription plans, could you make a video about That, how it works and if it affects the price at which my clips are currently sold on blackbox, I am afraid that this will affect the price and I will earn less for my videos, how have you done with that, thank you and success for you and your channel !! please make a video about this, THANK YOU
Thank you for subscribing. I can make a video, but I can also tell you that I’d you don’t permit subscription sales, you are loosing a lot of money. I have talked a bit about it in other. Videos. I make $200-300 a month in subscription and discount pack sales. I know you don’t want to see clips sell for $1, but would you rather have no sales or sell a clip 100 times for a $1? Also, every clips that sells by subscription moves it up in the search engine ranking. I’ll do a video. Again, appreciate you subscribing.
@@boycefitzgerald Thank you, I already activated the bell, so that it can notify me when you upload it, thanks to you
