Love this video, would have been interested to see a break-down of your most profitable or most purchased stock videos? I believe I watched one a while back, that Mango Street did, all about their most successful stock photography uploads. And I've been thinking about starting some stock accounts, but most of my time is spent shooting and editing for my employer (a local art college) and I can't use any of that footage... so I'd have to shoot fresh footage most likely... would be cool to know what types of video have worked well for you.
I also do stock footage on Blackbox. Around 2000 clips so far ... made around $10,000 over the last 2 years. Not something to live on ... but it certainly helps. Especially when I am not actually doing anything and it is passive income.
My only tree so far is a crypto investment paying about $1500 or so a month, which is pretty decent. I have a question for you though: How much content have you uploaded in terms of stock footage to earn this money?
I would love to see you do a video going more in depth on stock footage. Hearing how much you made was nice but I would love to hear how many clips you uploaded, see some more examples of those clips, and any other tips you have on the subject. Did you upload to one location or do you upload clips to multiple stock sites? Does it cost money to create an account and upload? These are just some of the questions that came to mind watching this. Best of luck with 2022 Matti.
