  • Welcome to Canada's busiest general aviation airport! Oshawa is the neighboring airport to Toronto and features some unique traffic, today's video is focused on one of ALCI Aviation's / Enterprise Airline's Douglas DC-3s that have been converted with a turbo into a Basler BT-67. This plane has an impressive history, from initially serving for the USAF, then moving to the RAF and Finally the Indian Air Force in 1946, ending it's time with the world's militaries, it then flew for 14 more owners until November 7th, 2014 where it was converted into a Basler meaning it now has Turbos! and finally on the 16th of October 2019 ALCI Aviation acquired the aircraft and it was ferried from Oshkosh (USA) to Oshawa (Canada). On the 11th of October (when this video will be out) this plane would have flown to Antarctica for an Expedition!. Thanks for watching, and considering subscribing!

I flew on one of these Baslers between Tripoli and Valletta in 2011/2. Very interesting ride.

shoulda painted them engine nacelles white, to match the rest of the DC-3's paintjob. Would make it a bit more of a "sleeper"

Turbine conversions are awesome! Still love the sound of a radial on a DC 3. Beautiful job on the conversion.

Hey I know that plane from work. CG-OOU spends a lot of time at our base in the summer.

Turbine engines on a DC3 sounds like something gas monkey garage would come up with.
