Now here are awesome facts about Spotted Hawkfish:
1. Scientific Name = Cirrhitichthys Aprinus.
2. To help Spotted Hawkfishes is donate to Wildlife Conservation Society at 2300 Southern Boulevard in Bronx, NY 10460.
3. From Indo West Pacific.
4. Nicknames = Blotched Hawkfish, Boar Hawkfish, Redbarred Hawkfish, or Threadfin Hawkfish.
5. Discovered in rocky & coral areas of subtidal coastal reefs.
6. Length = 12.5 (12 1/2) centimeters in other words 4.9 inches long.
7. Its spots are used for camouflage in order to blend to its surroundings while hiding from predators.
8. Likes to be in depths between 16 to 131 feet deep underwater.
9. Eats crustaceans & small 🐟.
10. Lifespan = 4 years old.
11. Just like its cousin Longnose Hawkfish, it changes sex from female (♀️) to male (♂️) known as female to male sex transformation (♀️➡️♂️).
