  • Using jigs is a smart thing to do when building an acoustic guitar. It saves time and provides an accurate cut that are needed in a guitar build.
In this video, we are offering free jig plans for the purpose of cutting the back and top bracing for an acoustic guitar. These are detailed plans and are made available to my subscribers without cost.
In addition, exciting news that my new book Chasing After Justice has reached the top 100 books on amazon.ca.
A big thank you to all of you who have purchased this book. I certainly hope you enjoy the storyline and don't forget Mother's Day is coming.
This channel provides free lessons on building acoustic and electric guitars. In addition, we will feature videos relating to guitar maintenance, repair, and the development of jigs.

Thank you for the plans Monte. They will come in handy in several ways. A guy can always use new tools , ideas and of course, guitars! 😀

If your wife ever asked you how many guitars you need be sure to tell her "just as many as it takes. "As my godfather used to say, "I am easily satisfied with the best."

My personal joke to some of my fellow luthiers is that I don't make guitars, I make jigs. Never have enough to do the job. Love your channel and the processes you go through to craft your guitars.

Thank you Richard for your comment. I do appreciate it and you're right we can never have enough jigs.

Thanks for the plans. I am building up my shop to make my first guitar outside of a community college classroom. There are so many jigs I need to build and your plans will speed up the process.
