Juneteenth || Learning about Texas History from Galveston Island to the Texas State Capitol

Juneteeth, Jubilee Day or Emancipation Day is a federal holiday commemorating emancipation of enslaved African Americans. The holiday originates in Galveston, where we visit the 5,000 square ft. mural then we move to the Texas State Capitol in Austin to learn about the after affects.
