I’ve been wondering why no ones made a joint or big soft plastic little catfish.
You hardly ever see small to medium sized catfish because the bass eat them up or they’re in a hole

Glad you're back, Nate! I was beginning to wonder if you had been blown away in the storm. I keep my old Crosman air pistol handy for the really pesky flies. Pump it up ten times and give a fly the 2000mph windstorm. Blows them to pieces with just that puff of air.
When will you make a swimming person lure
This might be my favorite lure to date. The same storm that came thru your area also went thru Indiana. It was quite a monster. We were spared damage, but it was a pretty good storm

Hey Mr.marling. You should do a series where you remake famous lures. You can match rattle traps, kvd 1.5s and you could try to make the exact same lure, color and everything

Also... if u get a steel plate with some thin leather on it, use magnets to pin your mesh down for scale panting.. its gunna save alot of time...
Get some magnets w/ a hook or loop on them so u can grab um...
When u pin down the mesh.. think on the fine tuning you can do to get it tight......

I’ve been watching for a couple years now and I love how your videos and baits have progressively gotten better over time. So cool watching this channel grow and become better
Use that as an excuse to get a new rod, then repair the old rod, (super easy) and put the reel back on the original rod. Then you have a rod with no reel and have an excuse to buy a new reel too.
Been watching ya for a few years now You a amazing shaper and lure maker I've just started finishing fiberglass on boats about half a year ago and Its similar with shaping and technique you use. I someday will hope to become as good and precise as you at detail crafting. You do amazing work and vids Man keep up the good work

That deratre storm was really messed up. I work in fairfield Iowa and we had to shut down for 1 week so the people with no power could have power

honestly this is my favorite kind of video that you do. I know it takes way longer to make a lure of this size but its super satisfying when you complete it and it looks really nice, especially if its some other animal like a chipmunk
Most of my family lives in CR. My sister lost her house, a tree went through it. My brother lost buildings on his property. My mother got a tree through her roof. Both my daughters had damage to their homes and lost most of their trees. What a huge mess!
