@@Priest_Of_Zebak I spend all day talking with clients and coworkers and I have plenty of conversations with my partner and my family. The last thing I want to do when I want to disassociate and play OSRS is to talk to strangers when the game is notorious for being riddled with scammers and lurers.

This bug existed in original Runescape 2 when housing was made. I lost my precious Santa Hat back then to it. Simply poison me and kick me from the house.
Cb 112-113 gargoyle bots with dfs, top and helm obsidian, veracs skirt and zombie axe.. they are all over the place and all almost identical
You can lure them into nechryael room with 500+ gp and trap them there by shutting the door.
Its was reported by other streamer, long time ago but jagex do nothing.
They don’t care about people doing shit that literally destroys the fabric of their game so I guess why would they care about this? Just like bot banning scripts. They are so damn easy to write it’s an actual joke but they make a monthly income from every member bot so they let it slide. It’s easy to stop lures too but that would take MINUTES out of their day so we can’t do that.
It's because it's not a bug it was intended mechanics it can be used maliciously just don't interact with random players if you get scammed or lured it's your own fault

Unfortunately scams like this happen all the time and there’s a way to trick people into confusing friendship for scamming people which has made me refuse to play with other people. I do CoX solo, phosani’s solo, TOA solo, TOB solo. I pretty much only reply to people when they need my help or like a slayer cave and they need a dose or two of prayer brews or combat pots. Other than that when people just talk to me I typically just leave. Sucks that it’s a Massive Multiplayer Online game and you still have to be alone for thousands of hours.
The player owned houses caused one of the biggest bugs on release that caused people to lose party hats and other rares (when they were worth several billion gp) way back in the original before osrs existed. Im fairly sure the lures somehow got wiped from youtube because I cant seem to find them anymore. The lure was that you just had to eject someone from your house as they were in the middle of the death animation and they would die outside and drop all their loot to a player like regular pvp. Its wild that were here in 2024 and there are still similar bugs happening.
There are bots killing gargoyles in almost every world at the top of the slayer tower. Usually, only one per world, they wear obsidian helm and platebody, obby cape v skirt dragon boots, dfs, v skirt. They do nothing but kill gargoyles 24/7. You can lure them away and trap them with stuff from the drop table.

didnt know where else to post this so im gonna post it here, on a gargoyle task and there are bots everywhere. They are all wearing dragonfire shields and obby cloaks, dragon boots an i think what looks like a zombie axe, thought you and the osrs team might like to know :)
When you're on task, lure them into the nech room by dropping 500gp+ in the room and then shut the door.
Just found a bot farm at blast furnace buying out coal. Cost from NPC is 67, ge value 134. Tested it for 5 mins world hopping on my ironman, 35k profit in 5mins (whilst buying gold ore for smithing reasons, took twice as long per world). These bots are probably making approx 400k/hr from just buying coals per account since I've only seen them walking between vendor/bank.
Back in the day I recall watching a video where a player got scammed for their dragon full helmet in POH. Poor bastard was told about a dupe bug where placing items on a table and doing certain emotes would duplicate it. In other words, the owners simply placed their own items on the table and waited for them to appear. Once the player took off his helmet and placed it down, he was kicked out of the house and locked outside.
The moral of the story? Nobody shares secrets with you unless they have an agenda. Also, drillers do not actually eat rocks for breakfast.

I lost 472mil to this bug when the new quest came out after a game of LMS then died to the tormented demons afterwards...Jagex basically said sorry and wouldn't do anything about it.
What's crazy is we used to abuse a similar bug more than 10 years ago. We'd get people into the house, damage them, and feed them Karambwan

Omg that's bad I got hit my the skull trick when you have skull prevention on but because I had auto retaliate because I was doing slayer in slayer caves I skulled automatically and a team logged in and got me for anguish and black slayer helm imbued

If anyone from back in the day is around, you'll remember the stomp was added to prevent players from doing the walk understrategy, and hilariously it looks like that attempt to ''''''fix''''' that has caused a different issue. Hilarious stuff from Jagex as usual.

This is technically different. The ones gudi did are patched. This is a variation on it. And now the third reported bug like this. Looks like jagex needs to do a wider bug fix and not patch the issue.
They need to differentiate between "safe" pvp dmg and non safe. Instead jagex relies upon "clearing" the pvp dmg, and players keep finding holes in that patchwork solution.
For the future, if you are going to the agility in Wildy, if you get a reward you always get a loot bag so you don’t miss out
Not sure if you have done a video on this one before : I saw a bot, running into catacombs and picking up rune items from nechryals. It TPs out if it doesn’t see rune on ground and it runs back. Firmly believe the player killing the nechs were in on it
The real question here is, How many people are actually playing with Public on instead of on friends and why? Havent turned public off friends since like 2016

Multiple worlds- currently on 517 roughly 50+ bots farming soul wars. some accounts have 130k zeal they wont start with someone near and hop after sitting at gate for awhile.

Get the new hunters crossbow. So much dps u wouldn't have needed snares. Super underrated.

They wear elite void, a regular anti-dragon shield, and a dragon crossbow. Usually lvl 108ish.

My go to anti luring technique, is to act like I don’t speak any English. It usually has them very angry and confused.

i don't think most of you understand how bad the runescape code is and how hard it is to write new code for the game without effecting something else in the game. runescape is spaghetti... and with every new piece of content the spaghetti gets worse... sometimes trying to totally fix something isn't possible without causing something else to fail.
the most random stuff could be linked through the spaghetti somewhere and when things are changed so does that random thing...
The only thing they’d have to do is add corp’s stomp damage as npc damage.

went fishing anglers yesterday at world 324 , logged back in after like 9 hours an its still packed with like 13 users that have similar names and clothes ! Most of them around 90 but some over 100 fishing maybe thats something you are after...
The lure is not actually that good, as there is no absolutely no reason to bring a large sum of GP. People will try it first with 100k. Asking players to bring their entire cash stack is super sus.

This is technically a different one. Gudis was for clan ring. Sadly each different area is a different bug, since jagex fixes these via a patchwork of "you left a safe pvp area, clear any pvp dmg done to you".

Have you seen the bots at poh portals in Rimmington they bot corporal beasts didn’t note down the world but they all are like 90+ combat and they are farm corporal beast just a big group of them going to corp tele to house use pool of rejuvenation go back to corp and repeating.

I doubt jagex differentiate player damage & Npc damage in code
more likely it is what object is causing damage
If they did use NPC/Player damage as two different types we would see indicators of that.
I.e the game has damage & IF that damage came from an object that was not owned by a player
than that is not considered a pvp death otherwise its just death.

I would never fall for that lure because if I ever hear someone say “I guess I can let you in on a dupe”, it’s an automatic red flag. If anyone really falls for that, they are either never got scammed in RS2 or they need to be taught that lesson by being lured/scammed.
Ikr people are just dumb af. I would already suspect them of a lure when openly talking about a dupe. I don't even need to interact with them. I've lured people back in the day. Had 2 party hats. Fun thing is when I was standing in w2 at the GE at the time (where phats and rares where being sold). Another rich girl with phats tried to lure me. I literally knew it was a lure 10 seconds into the conversation. "Hey! :) how are you?" "Having a good time flipping? :)" insta red flag since the person was rich af and ofc... i had to bring my stuff and he lured me to the wilderness, I ended up just wasting his time and laughed at him in the end.
Fossil island wyverns are crawling with bots.
We used to lure whit the poh back in the Day and spinning disc and trow them out while They would spin the disc while attacking them in rs3. Dont thanks that would work in 07 but You never know

It's all so easy to say you'd never even engage with the lure when you already know it, but so many players still either don't know what's up, or think they can outsmart the bad guys. They're playing a numbers game, and this new script massively increases their odds at finding a guy who doesn't know or wants to outsmart them.

I've been doing a lot of Venanatis lately and have gotten used to getting cleaned out by PKers over the weeks. But the weirdest thing just happened to me. I was killing Venanatis when a PKer showed up, so I knew to run. I headed south, left the cave entrance, and booked it to level 31 Wilderness when I got frozen.
But then something crazy happened-the geared PKers suddenly started attacking one of their own! I was still frozen, just watching it all unfold. Once they took down their own bot, they went back to their positions.
The craziest part? I had about 10 million worth of gear, and they just ignored me.
