Couple of corrections and tips to this guide. Pillar speed is from the first click on the pillar, so you have time to do other things before they spawn The small square things dont spawn behind the barrier and only requires you to move 1 tile away from the centre to dodge The action button to pause mechanics has been fixed Extra ores will drop on the floor if you mine 2 and you only have 1 inventory space
The action button for pausing mechs has not been fixed, it can still be done (at the time i posted this) Also, the small square thing is a bug, and is ment to be 3x3, which will be hotfix eventually.
If you repair the barrier, then you can run behind it to reduce the begone attack damage, the one that does 60%, to just 18%. Also as mining uses strength to some extent strength potions or a pre fight dragon b-axe special may be worth using.
Ring of Whispers, gives +3 to divination and Mining, so been using that, then swapping to ring of Dwarves whern I open chest; not sure if that impacts the luck the positive way though

Hey, great video, but i'm having a bit of trouble, after i do the pillars and hit, the screen goes pale and i just keep taking damage no matter what, even standing in the healing ring won't work, and i just keep dying even when i spam all my food, what did i miss?
Whats your average kill times doing this? Also you might already know but the special action button is getting patched cause of the exact reason you mentioned. I think it'll be gone by tomorrow :)
Idk, I like the ideas I just think it needed a little MORE to it. I feel like 90% of the fight is being ignored. Lots of room for some extra steps that are enjoyable / fun to be done.

What am i missing. I clear two rocks and then move to other set. But i take a random 8k hit and lose. The barrier is full and im behind it. My adren isnt coming back after using barricade. Wtf!?!?
Tip, when you siphon you get a debuff that will cause you to take more damage but for every 2 stacks makes one moonstone do more damage, so right before I go up I siphon extra for the amount of rocks I have, you want to have double like 50 stacks for 25 rocks.
Since noone is making an updated guide for this boss since the Spec. Action patch, here's a strat a friend of mine made for very easy sub 4 min kills. This is my ... adjusted method ... since I'm still learning and not bringing a Blood Reaver, lol. IF you do use Blood Reaver or are just better at health management, the strat is even quicker, just reverse the order of rocks and don't activate the barrier. - In terms of gear, what is recommended by Init Yeah is perfect, although the aura can be replaced (or bolstered if combined) with a Lava Titan. NO BoB since this is a 2 CYCLE strat! - Use Bone Shield as Barricade is required after first cycle. - IF you struggle with the Pillars, a third cycle will be required but it's completely safe and theres no danger of losing the fight (well ... unless you royally fuck up mechanics, lol). The fight: First cycle: - Start fight on the right side, grab ~25 Moonstone Shards and charge barrier to 30%-60%. - Transmute/Mine the 2 North East rocks closest to barrier. When mechanics happen, alternate between the rocks and react accordingly. - When Boss' Adren hits 10, stand on the stairs behind barrier and tank the ~1800 damage. Use Excalibur for free heals. - Completely mine those rocks (could tick mine if you want to tryhard) and hit Spec. Action and slam her as fast as possible. Second cycle: - After slamming the Boss, surge to the North West rocks and activate Barricade before her Insta Kill hits. (lvl 76 Bone Shield gives you a solid 10seconds after activation). - Keep health up (since using barrier isn't worth it anymore) and transmute/mine the 2 rocks. When mechanics happen, alternate between the rocks and react accordingly. These rocks are even easier to manage mechanics coz you can literally just click the rocks back and forth during autos and always get out of the way. - Once those 2 rocks are finished, hit Spec. Action and slam her as fast as possible. Assuming your fast enough during both slams, easy sub 4min 2 cycle. - IF you mess up either of the Pillars, you won't get the kill. Surge to Icthlarin's healing bubble and transmute/mine that rock right next to it. Each rock is 2,500 damage so gather accordingly, surge to boss and finish her off. Still a sub 5min kill if you fuck up. After you master the Pillars, this is extremely consistent and relaxed. Obvs, there are sweaty as fuck one cycle strats out there but they're really not worth it for a boss thats practically free to kill. Good luck on drops, fellow 'Scapers! Any TH-camr that wants to take this and make it into a video, by all means, go for it! Some credit would be nice, though.
Yes I would go for the puzzle box first as it's easier to get. The quest line isn't too bad. The relic you'll get over time depending on your arch lvl.

@jasongordon-be2yu you'll need to either do the extinction quest line to get the puzzle box OR high lvl arch to get a relic that build adrenaline outside of combat. It's a late game feature, but not insanely hard to get.
I like the boss, the concept too, but god damn is this boss boring. Now if the drops can make me money then ill farm this, but only till pet. I dont see myself getting over 1k kc

Fortitude is also really helpful, it's a curses prayer and increases your defense, it also allows you to use regeneration in combat. If you need additional adrenaline for that you can drop a dummy.
@@carlost856 I'm 120 all and my first 6 kills I just surged to ictharin for the heal, the barricade idea I basically forgot as an option till i saw a live streamer do it.
@@InitYeah it’s free crafting 300k a hour. Esp for iron man. Just go in and only collect the moonstone fragments. Use crating outfit and necklace. When it’s gets to full health and instakills you you spawn right back and restart.
I’m guessing since you can just hit action bar to heal to full health when low. Just stand and craft moonstone shards. When low hit bar heal and repeat

Since damage heals the boss, using defensives between barricade should cut down on times?
Each mined stone hits for 2500 dmg so at 90k hp you need only 30 of them + the 25% extra dmg

okay i was wrong.... it still works... i was just too slow or took too much damage.... was able to do it after a few more tries
when you mine with only one spot, you still receive the 2 ore, one just drops on the floor

How did you keybind F for giving Beast of Burden only one thing? Whenever I select it gives my entire Inventory to BoB.
You can put the stones you mine on your hotbar which will automatically keybind to putting them in your BoB.
How can i move the special ability button? It's in a weird place right now.
In the interface custom settings there’s is a special action button option that allows you to move it to a different place on your screen

U arent recover adre because u are in combat, same reason why u cant heal yourself with adre, so only 1 barricade per kill

In the pre-release mode barriers defended the big hit, that plus anticipate made the hit do 10%

In duos and trios or more even you won't use any food if everyone drops their ice healing shard and nobody uses enhanced Excalibur, they share a cd.
Prism of loyalty is niche but also works if someone cade cepts everyone and everyone adds health to the shard
