Unironically this. This is how bug/exploit disclosure works for major websites/services, to a certain extent. Something is discovered, and (hopefully) responsibly disclosed to the owner. They usually have 90 days to fix it, or the bounty hunter will disclose it publicly. I will admit, public disclosure doesn't usually include exploit instructions, but it also usually gets fixed long before public disclosure is necessary. Not always, but usually.

I've had the null head glitch a few times. My theory is it is when you don't close client fully after update day. All times it happened was after an update happened
How to break a bot: force it into a specific scenario where it's programmed to react only one way until it is done - and the scenario doesn't let it do it, like planting seed on this video. Bad bots gets stuck into feedback loop where they HAVE TO perform a set task before running forward with commands. Good bots always have more than 2 commands on each scenario such as (attack player. Reach it? Yes - No) (Yes: attack) (no: eat)

That bug where you had the null heads in your inventory and all the graphics looking like that have happened to me so many times for like a year now, just happens at random times when I login to my account for some reason, no clue what causes it though, got plenty of screenshots of it happening
I get this bug a lot now too. Started happening for me a month or so ago. It seemingly happens at random. When I'm logging into my main and ironman accs at the same time, one of them will have the bug while the other does not. I typically just relaunch and I'm good to go.
One update made Priff agility bots run back and forth. Usually things are highlighted on mobile so you can see where to click but it wasn't highlighted for a while.
I've made like 50m farming these bots. I love em. Tip: better gear and a voidwaker, they pray melee against it a lot.( until they go into prayer spam mode lol)
its the same at amethyst tbh but dont get your hopes up jagex has openly admitted that bots are good for the economy and make up 50% of the playerbase.
You can't stop bots.... The only way rev bots will go away is if it's not profitable to bot a revs, which if that's the case, it's not profitable for a normal player.
idk if this is common knowledge but I was doing soul wars and flipping through worlds when I came upon world 496... it had hundreds of bots doing soul wars... all around lvl 50-60 but there were over 80 players in the minigame when it started all of which were multibotted accounts with the same name
There’s hundreds of soul wars bots on world 303 and 311 the cc zealgains and zeal gains runs them and sometimes uses their main to boost legitly. They spawn kill anyone not in there cc with maxed mains. They protect the bots they also go to 327 and 479. Mostly 303 and 311
This is truly fascinating. The bots are pretty much living organisms who just evolved from herbivores (PvE) to carnivores (PK), feeding on them. You don't find stuff like this in raffinated theme park games.
Out of pure curiosity, “I don’t want to show you how to do this bug, but here is a ring, the gauntlet, and a stamina potion.” It took me roughly 15 minutes to figure out how to do it. Sorta feels like you knew people would figure it out, no? Anyways, great video as usual.
i'm going to guess it involves drinking a stam pot with a charged ring of endurance for the double dose, entering the gauntlet, making an egniol potion, chugging it, and then x-logging.
I found 200 players in the soul wars lobby in a random world, i asked bots ? One account immediately says hooooppppppppppp and all accounts log or either teleport i have a sreenshot if u need
I’ve seen this several times. If you hop through worlds you’ll find tons of them. They don’t care you’re there unless you kill someone and then there’s one bot always programmed to “get mad” when you kill them

I always thought it was weird when you drink the potion in the gauntlet and kill the hunellef how you still have the stamina property until it ran out.

if you immediately ban a bot, bot writers can learn from their mistake quickly and make a new bot with some behavior hidden. waiting periods increase doubt about what behaviors got bots caught.
@@SweetPeteInTheBackSeat in the case of the two examples, having a mod manually ban them gives no hints at any anti cheat algorithms. Plus a broken bot wouldn't have anything to learn from. They found out because it was broken.

I know of a bug that lets you run in Tears of Guthix. It's not a huge deal but you can get a few more tears than you'd normally get. Does anyone know of any other spots that force you to walk?
please look into gargoyle bots at slayer tower. Very similar skill levels, ranging stats mostly 99 combat stats and seem to be all wearing the exact same kit. They appear to be farming alchables.
Gargoyle bots have been a thing ever since osrs came out. Nothing new there. They are botted constantly and whenever one gets banned, another one is ready to take its place
@@Steven-ob4lp Maybe some Jmods unofficially do, but if it was something allowed in the company they could just spawn in the gold, no need for botting. I think in reality it's just that the bots aren't detectable with whatever detection solution they've used for 10+ years (because botters have learned to mask the clicks as coming from a real USB human interface device instead of software or whatever), and management doesn't want to spend the money to headhunt for experienced developers or hire expensive consultants who could add completely new features to the bot detection solution. As long as there's no quantifiable evidence telling the management how many genuine players they lose to the botting issue each month they're going to have trouble seeing it as something they should spend more resources on.
Sir pugger there is a huge bot farm on gargoyles, the bots all wear dragonfire shield, obby helment and chest, obby cape, verac plateskirt, and use some weird axe in their mainhand. I can't find a way to report to jagex i've posted here but it is really annoying. There are all in the slayer tower. Thanks
It woulda been cool for me to document all the rev cave bot pking I did. I used to tb them the same way when they would enter the cave. They would tele to bandit camp with burning ammy and I would have level 3 shaded out accounts with long black dreads black clothes grey boots accounts in the black knights castle. I would leave them in f2p til the dark warriors de-aggrod because the npcs there are weak in f2p unlike in p2p, then swap over. Was funny when ppl without npc indicator noticed me lol because I blended in so perfectly in the castle You could hardly see me without it. Would use those to scout the bots, then login in the cave entrance. Even smited a few craws bows back before they made them drink restores so efficiently. Definitely helped the guys upgrade their scripts alot in the time I made like 700m or so. Back when buddy started scripting them to fight back and d bow you etc lol, then he realized he just lost more by not running and changed it again. When they entered the cave they had like 2-3 ticks where you could tb and they didnt pray or tele. The evolution of them updating their scripts as me and a couple buddies pked them woulda been a good historic timeline.
it could be the fashionscape plugin for runelite. you can override any wearable item on yourself you wish to wear obv nobody else but you can see the override though
Fuck, I also found that bug out with stams about a month ago. I accidentally skulled while running glories and went to gauntlet to reset it which is when i realized the stam never ended. I did submit a bug report right then, but i use that stam trick for so many things. Medium clues being the main activity. It's a game changer, and honestly mkes me think they need to go forward with just removing run energy from the game.
i dont think completely removing it would be great, but they should add something like resting or perhaps a potion that like triples regend speed for a short time or something like that would be super cool

My account is over 23 years old, still use username. Every year I log in, see only bots, and log out again. It makes me sad what has become of this game.
The real fix for botting in osrs, force people to use the jagex launcher, force people to use an id to setup said account, force them to prove they are really who is on the id.
Requiring an ID would be such a liability for Jagex. They would never do that. Forcing people to use Jagex launcher wouldn't stop bots. There are tons of bots that work with Jagex launcher.
Why does it take 1,000 people to report a problem? Quite simply because 990 tickets are answered with automatic replies and 10 tickets landed in the garbage.

Could try uninstalling and removing Jagex cache files, then reinstalling. Unless it's fun or you don't mind it.

Perma stamina should be made a feature instead of a bug
