I had no self worth because, I chose to be with a toxic person who didn’t respect or value me for years. I didn’t love me enough to walk away until God literally had me catch him in the act. I’m rebuilding me now, it’s a painful process.

I was very hard on myself to do the right thing, but did not demand the same from others. Especially in the most important relationships, friendship which affected my life.
Having self love for myself as Pastor R.C. Blake explains is what I strive for. My toxic thinking led to self destructive behavior. At times, I contemplated suicide which is the highest form of hate for oneself. Proper self love is only possible when you have a proper relationship with God as Pastor R.C . Blake says. I've never had a relationship with my biological father. I've actually only seen him once and he's never pursued or wanted a relationship with me. Because of his abandonment as well as the abandonment of my biological mother, i have always felt so insignificant, unlovable and have hated myself. I've been trying to change how I feel about, as well as how i see myself cause deep down inside I've known that God wants so much more for me. This video was the Father/Daughter talk I've always longed for but so much better because it's coming from my Heavenly Father! I just can't explain it, but something amazing is happening in me as a result of this video! Thank you Pastor Blakes! Please pray fo me.

I just got out of a toxic relationship, he was extremely abusive. Verbally, mentally and sometimes physically, He turned my entire family against me. I told my mom everything that I had went through and she called me a liar and told me that if i spoke out about it I would be under a bride. She even forced me to go back to live with him. They destroyed my car, my cell phone and then they all started just attacking me non stop everyday. It was extremely brutal. I wouldn't wish what I went through on anyone. But now that im single alot of people wan to date me and are trying to get me to move in with them so fast, I keep trying to explain that I need time to heal. If my cup is not full, I have nothing to offer anyone else. This video confirmed everything I needed I was thinking thank you.
I pray that God will strengthen you with Holy Boldness to stand and hold your own. God promised to never leave us nor forsake us. I pray that he is your comforter. Proud of you for getting away. These days men are looking for a place to stay and rush to get the cookie so they try to rush relationships. You set the pace and you do the selecting! You also have the power to say goodbye to those who aren't in compliance with your value system.

For as long as we are hurting, unable to forgive or unable to own our faults (denial), lacking self-confidence or esteem, WE NEED TO WORK ON OURSELVES FIRST and reconcile all this (works for me being in God's space..) only when we overcome any of our short-comings then we can embrace new people into our lives so we don't hurt them or them hurt us.

This message is in perfect timing! I really think that the past generations grew up with narcissism in the family that children are told there is always someone better than them. That is what I was told as a child anyway. I am learning to love myself! You can easily lose your self worth even in Christ! Thank you for this God-sent message. It is much needed today! You teach so beautifully. I imagine you are a wonderful pastor too. God said to love your neighbor as yourself. You are right....we are to love ourselves. A lot of us have been abused. We have to know who God says we are. I have been out down my whole life. Please pray for all of us who need healing from abuse. Some churches preach that we are wretched and we should be thankful that God even allows us to breathe! So much condemnation type preaching goes on to keep people down to manipulate them. I was thinking today about the book called your best life now....imagine how Job would have felt if somebody would tell him he needed a book like that! As Christians we need to stop putting each other down with judgment. Grace and Mercy are needed.

When he said that about Cain. I oftentime feel that this is why people tend to abuse others with their tongue. They try to destroy that individual by putting them down with their tongue.

After you finish praying, tell God I trust you with my life during this hardship I'm facing.
Tell him that I'm even grateful that I'm alive, despite of what I'm going through.
Tell God you want the Faith to hope, and believe again that Nothing is IMPOSSIBLE with him!!!
Begin to speak out loud, that I know God LOVES ME, and I can't see right now the Amazing things he is doing, but I know God heard my prayer.
Everyday tell God Thank you for what you have believed him to do that is in alignment with his word, as well as the plan he has for your Life.
Don't be shocked because you will begin to actually SEE them !!!

At 20:30 when Pastor Blakes says that Cain killing Able was Cain really attacking his own self dislike, he could have dropped the mic 🎤. What he said was so convicting and encouraging that I was trying to physically reach out and grab it! 🔥🔥

SO I SUGGEST WE WORK ON OUR INNER SELVES TO REACH SELF-LOVE, PEACE AND HUMILITY combined. We then become more giving/charitable of love and material support to those who need us. We will not go about hating, destroying others be it emotionally or materially.

AMEN! Pastor Blakes, you continuously hit every nail on the head. Your messages are such an inspiration to me. I was conditioned to feel horrible about myself due to constant maternal criticism and verbal/emotional abuse. I was told that I was nothing and was going to be nothing but a drug addict and a failure. Because of that, I attracted and accepted love interests that treated me like I was nothing. I am now on a healing journey to love myself and that takes setting healthy boundaries of whom I allow into my life. #Movingforward

Hello Pastor Blakes I wasn't allowed to even love myself a little bit. I was always depressed because of being put down by my family. I was told I shouldn't think of myself but everybody else can. I was not allowed to have a voice to express myself that I feel so broken, it was just awful, all because I was in a car crash and sustained a serious concussion which has not healed properly and that's why my family make me feel less than a human being, with no feelings. I think that it is totally unfair to me and others like myself. What do you think of this situation, Pastor Blakes?? I've prayed to the Lord to heal me, but so far I've seen no change in my self-esteem, because I still feel like I have a broken spirit. I feel hopeless .Thank you for reading my story, Pastor Blakes.
Christine Haigh it’s good you now know ...I was exactly the same. Lots of pretense and forced love it felt rejection almost every single day for a very long time. The MOST AMAZING thing is once we seek God, we begin to cleanse and heal instantly. We’ve to reject our pain and reclaim our God-given love for us. I wish you best.

Check out Caroline Leaf videos...she tells of a young girl severely injured in an accident and eventually grew into someone better and stronger than before her injuries. Don't give up! Keep moving forward. Continue to seek God. Ive also heard it said that virtually all spiritual growth is preceeded by hardship. Never give up and find ways to encourage others. Praying for you
Christine, I was fortunate in having a generally supportive and loving family but have been undermined and smeared by some others as an adult. I used to get upset and respond, trying to set the record straight. But the greatest peace is in stepping away. God knows the truth and leaving it with Him and just driving forward is such a great message. God Bless you.
