I assume this game was made during the time EA was being tight fisted with the Porsche license which is why the Black Bird is a 350 Z.

I found it in Phoenix az today. 3DX, ask a technican to fix it for me on pedal and force feedback. It's legendary and bring back so much good memory.

so i did the math, 80 chapters is one loop, its about 5.5 hours to complete one loop, to get 10000 chapters done you need to complete the loop 125 times, which takes at the minimum 687.5 hours to do
That is some serious grinding.

Just standard Licencing issues from EA taking Porsche all those years ago...
From wmmt1-3 it was Gemballa in Japan to 350z in english, to RUF in wmmt4 and then Porsche in wmmt6

WHAT THE HELL WHY IS BLACKBIRD A 350Z?
there was licensing issues with porsches, because EA signed a deal with porsche that only need for speed games could have porsche in them until 2016, as a result only the japanese versions of maximum tune 1-3 had "gemballa" cars, which is a shop that modifies porsches. because of this, the car had to be changed for all other versions of the game.
in maximum tune 4 and 5, they use RUF, which is considered a different manufacturer, so despite looking very similar to a porsche, its a different car and therefore allowed.
in maximum tune 6, they are porsches because EA's contract had expired.
fun thing though, if you have a japanese tuning card from WMMT 1 or 2 with a gemballa/porsche on it, and you insert it into a foreign machine, it will load the car that is otherwise unavailable in game.
this was fixed in WMMT3, where gemballa was completely removed from non-japanese versions, rather than just being locked off but still in the files like in 1 and 2
