Very nice. Thanks Paul. It has a very strong German connection being sung in praise of George II who was King of Great Britain and Ireland, and Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg (Hanover) and a prince-elector of the Holy Roman Empire from 11 June 1727 until his death in 1760.
When the Jacobite pretender Charles Edward Stuart led the 1745 revolt in Scotland against the House of Hanover rising, the song spread among those loyal to King George II.
Originally the first line was 'God save our great George' but later amended to God save our great King/Queen'.

You can get it from his website, but I will say for a novice, as I consider myself, the double pedal technique while also playing treble clef melody with your left hand and accompaniment with your right may get a bit overwhelming. I’m currently practicing it myself to play in a concert.

Perfect for today. I love this melody and also your arrangement. But I‘ll never understand that so much tax money is taken for a crowning ceremony 😮. And on the other hand so many children must starve and die of starvation. This is also true for the (Musk) rockets having been exploded shortly after the launch (in this case it’s probably less tax money. I’m always getting so emotional, even angry. But that‘s not Paul‘s fault when he plays this anthem. I was just thinking about the crowning of the king and I also remember Paul playing „The Crowning of the King“, a piece from the time of the Renaissance … is that right?
