Thank you so much for this performance.
I absolutely love it!
I remember Ricci, when I was learning violin, those were the recordings my parents got me. Roman is just amazing, I listen to this with the score but wind up watching him, he plays it so dynamically and musically it is a wonder to watch. Double stop harmonics with pizz thrown in, I can't even imagine doing it. Plus all those chromatic passing tones in the middle of very difficult techniques is too amazing for words. I also play flamenco guitar and those left hand pulloffs will rival any master flamenco guitarist for sure. Amazing violinist!!
He doesn't play that violin
He MAKES LOVE with that violin
JELP😭
Effecting all the future musical generations in turn
he ate this up...
literally
WWWWWOOOOOOOWWWWWWW!!!!! What incredible technique and intonation! I've never heard this piece before so it was a very special experience.
Definitely the Hendrix of the violin! The skills, and certainly the teeth to match!
Paganini was a legend to be able to play this in his time, but even today it's breathtaking to watch and hear!
How Asian parents expect you to play the violin after touching it for a millisecond:
Genius! one of the best violonist ever! I feel it's a mixture of the technic Kogan, the musicality Vengerov and the craziness of Gitlis. Splendid!
+Tom Yang
gitlis is technically a lot better, musically absolutely more fascinating than kogan and vengorov.
and of course much, much better than roman. just look and hear!
+Tom Yang
There are technically better players than Kogan, to be musical as Vengorov is not really a compliment (professional musicians know what I mean), Gitlis is sometimes crazy, but technically better than Kogan and in any case a lot more musical than Vengorov!
Roman unfortunately has no reasons to be mentioned in this group.
I'm looking and hearing and you are indeed nuts...
@@wasagoodyear-mg9kt Roman Kim is by far the most technically accomplished violinist in the group, if not the greatest in history. Listen to his compositions and his transcriptions, they're the most difficult pieces ever written. Paganini and Ernst themselves would be amazed.
@@1962-f3i "Israeli virtuoso Ivry Gitlis describes Kim's mastery of his instrument as "one of the most incredible playing I have heard since I was born!“[2] In 2016 he won the Ivry Gitlis prize at the Festival Le Printemps du Violon in Paris.[1]"
I am so lucky that I lived to hear Roman Kim play… Heifetz Would have loved him
When you're so good that people are inclined to think that it's fake. But they literally can't...
3:20 Nicolo's basic lessons for teeth, lips and nails.
Lol
Jimi Paganini 💀
this is just amazing, consistent, musicality. nothing you can picky off, 100% of paganini in my opinion.
I have watched this video so many times not knowing who the violinist is - thinking he is just another average violinist who posted a video of his accomplishment, and as a pianist, I sometimes question how some violinists say that this is the hardest piece ever. But, thanks to 'TwoSet Violin [TH-cam]' I now understand how difficult this piece actually is and probably on the verge of impossible yet he managed it so fast while maintaing great quality. If there is a word higher than a prodigy, he is way, wayyy higher than it. I am mindblown by his very virtuostic talent that perhaps only he in history, has!
Already a quick edit: Many say that there are many other virtuostic violinists out there (like Kavakos) just like him but I still think that this is the best interpretation of this piece out there in the public.
Been addicted to watching this guys performances/interviews for a few years now, and hes seriously a NIGHTMARE to transcribe
imo Roman is one of the best violinists in the world, not only because of his playing, but his technique, composition level, and achievement at his age. just outstanding
@@stoningupper ... one of the best violinists of *all time* ...
Reminds me of Cizzffra. I know he was a pianist but he also had skills so over-the-top that eclipsed his peers and predecessor.
I hope now that Two Set Violin reacted to this - and his version of "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" - that maaaaany people will discover him! He has to be Paganini's reincarnation!
But even so, he had to do all the practicing because that's not inborn.
@@moshemordechaivanzuiden Of course! And the same goes for Paganini
The best performance ever of this piece
This violinist is a blessing from God! The talent is so beautiful and amazing. Big thumbs up 👍👍
There's no evidence for existence of God. He accomplished this using practice and his innate abilities.
@@Pain53924 be careful there big fella, there is no evidence to prove God doesn't exist. Don't fling it just cause you are uneducated and unexperienced, the world doesn't revolve around you, in fact the world doesn't even like you at all lol, it wants to take you down and pin you to the mat. I wouldn't be all cozy and lovey dovy with it, you will and are paying the consequences heh heh.
@@Pain53924and who blesses us with these abilities ? Some ghost ?
@@nidakaruyan7809 You assume it is a 'who' i.e. it is a being. There is no evidence to suggest that we were "blessed". You just feel this way because religion has indoctrinated you.
@@Pain53924well that comment was needed because the song title says "god save the king"
Amazing!!!! Speechless!!!!! God bless you, all the hard work pay off.
He made a mockery of one of the hardest pieces ever written, I was expecting his violin to catch fire.
This is the performance that motivated me to pick up a violin myself! I’ll probably never get to this point, but thank you so much for such inspiring playing.
Фантастика! Такой темп. Невероятно сложное произведение. Редко исполняемое. Техника ненормативная. Браво!
***** да...я ошарашена...только сегодня узнала этого скрипача...он 91 года рождения...живет в кельне
Why he eating violin
to impress the ladies
😂😂
@@prototypeinheritance515 now imagine how he eats them
his bow hand got tired
To get to the other side
Just amazing. Why isnt he more famous?
The sheer beauty of things like this is so demeaned and unappreciated. This is amazing!
My guy needs to play this at the Queen’s funeral
We need this guy to perform at sports events for england
If this guy would record the Caprices, I would buy all the recordings twice immediately. And a few times more as gifts.
Seriously. Music industry, give this guy money and record him with 49 microphones and 20 cameras. You owe it to humanity.
People jokingly told him to practice 25 hours a day, he took that in his heart.
cannot believe what I just saw. speechless.
you're truly a gift to this world. keep giving please.
I love the accustic of this room
Why are there only a million views?!?! Everyone needs to see this.
teacher: did you practice
him: "i ate my violin"
Superhuman level! Paganini would be proud...
The best violinist of S XXI! God bless you Roman.
This is impressively in-tune for all the recordings of this I have heard.
You are killing it, sir!! Dedication to your art. Congratulations
It sounds like 1000 people playing together ,love it😎
Who came from Twoset? This deserves way more recognition!
I
Yes mii
Too many of us😂
I came a few months ago haha then twoset posted and I came back
👀
Got recommended just after watching two set. Dude really is an alien
Роман, вы потрясающе владеете скрипкой. Вы сам Паганини. Успехов вам в вашем замечательном творчестве покорять сердца слушателей.
RIP, Queen. I remembered this video and play it right after I heard the news.
Any girl on youtube make any sound: 100 MILLION views
This talented guy plays the hardest piece ever: only 250 thousand!
WTF?
and that's with the help of Twoset
Yeah. It kinda leads us to the incredibly counter-intuitive and totally bizarre -- but inescapable -- conclusion that true greatness cannot be measured in terms of TH-cam view counts.
It’s cuz he don’t got boooooobs.
Yep, that's just our generation today. I think not many people take into consideration of how much dedication and practicing it takes to fully understand classical music-- i mean it's not pop lol.
Because S I M P S.
A million views ! Congrats roman kim!
*STANDING OVATION THAT LASTS AN HOUR*
nO, 40 HOURS
I study violin at a specialised music school and would listen to him on youtube but how shocked i was when i found out he was born in my home country Kazakhstan this is wildddd guys
He represents your country very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very well.
guys.. we found ling ling
Ling Ling could play it twice as fast
@@nathanholland3235 interesting
Ling ling sees this piece as scales
Ling ling warms up with this at triple speed in every tonality and after that uses the scores as fire starters cause he's already memorized everything a looong time ago
We have to send this to Twoset!!!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ love your playing, dear Roman ❤❤❤❤❤!!!! You're amazing!!!!!
Gratulation, really great playing! Ruggiero would ask you: "How did your rosin taste on 3:21?"
Violinsts & Ricci-Fans: see the transcriptions by Ruggiero Ricci & his edition of the Dvorak Concerto, as performed by him with the Sydney Symphony on OVATION PRESS ! Enjoy.
To the memory of a great artist and friend...
