Yes my parents from Calcuta and mum would make smaller. Puri's are smaller and paratha same but make bigger, like Pearl has done. Plus mum would deep fry. Most delicious eaten with a cup of tea! 👌🏼 Your dahl puris still look so delicious Pearl and I'm definitely going to have a go at making like you have as less fattening your way 😊

Dal roti. An unusual roti for me. In Maharashtra, they make Puram poli. Sweet dal packed pretty much rhe same way you’ve filled these rotis. Thank you Pearl. Must try this over the weekend. God bless you.
