The professor from the College of Musical knowledge-----Mr. Peter Wolf. This Man's knowledge and passion for his life's work is so unknown, its almost criminal. Peter Wolf needs to write this all down and pump his gray cells into a book form. Make it your magnum opus Peter!!!! You LIVED it!! You deserve the right to putting this all down into a compilation for all of history-----so it does not get LOST! Please don't let it all become................musta got lost!
The two best live albums are his Full House and Blow your face out!! The greatest! Going to high school in the 70’s in Boston, your car was blasting those 8-tracks!!! Way to go Pete!!
The wooba gooba himself Peter Wolf , a legend, articulating his words well, very well spoken, intelligent, Put them in the Rock n Roll hall of fame already!
Peter the man, the artist and a big inspiration to me. I’ve grew up with his music and his songs are stuck with me forever and always bring me joy! Thank you Peter you’re a legend for me!
Very talented man....love his voice...loved all of his music from freeze frame to lights out! Jammed the song "Lights Out" tonight through the Walmart parking lot with the windows down just for old times sake!!!
Just saw his show tonight Salisbury, Ma 10/09/21 Seen him many times in both the roles. Another great show tonight. I highly recommend. He’s still got the moves.
I had talk to peter wolf and smoke cigarettes together at the iron horse entertainment club in Northampton mass . Back in 1970 he said they were weird days
I'd pick Get Up Offa That Thing. I'm back! Gotta get moving as soon as you hear those 2 iconic horn notes 20 seconds in. It's like a nod to go ahead and move! Peter. THE Boston DJ and Frontman.
I remember J Giels at the Ark on Landsdown st I believe before they made an album They opened for Johnny Winter And with Rick Derringer and they were the only opening act I’d seen that got an encore Boston Stephen
This interview has to be from early 1986 not 1984 because the interviewer makes reference to interviewing James Brown and her and Peter make reference to Brown’s hit Living In America, from the Rocky IV soundtrack, and Living In America was a hit in early 1986. I guess Peter’s second solo album Come As You Are from ‘86 had just come out and he was promoting it. I love him, I love The J. Geils Band, I saw Geils in the second row at MSG in NYC on Feb 20, 1982, it was Geils birthday, there was a cake for him, and earlier that day they taped their appearance on The Joe Franklin Show. I’ve seen Geils without Stephen Jo Bladd 3x many years later and I’ve seen Peter solo 3x. There is no one better.
My mom was into the same sounds but my dad was more into big band mom later would work at the local radio station kewe. Seen Geils with the stones and George T in Los Angeles California and I helped this black dude with selling tickets to get in he was walking around acid cocaine tickets and toward the end of George Thorogood he say white boy you can go in now so I got to see J. Geils band 🎉🎉🎉
Peter with magic live Unstoppable Seen them twice on their sanctuary tour with thin Lizzy, UFO ,nazareth and headliner journey Wish journey opened but it was a bad ass show Then when they opened for the rolling Stones at candlestick with George thorogood and I must say Peter and magic stole the show
Best front man in the business🎉🎉❤

I was bopping around the net when I ran into... I Must've Got Lost the LIVE version. Excellent!😎🎶👀🔥
Oh yeah, I was there! Cruising while listening to the woova goova with the green teeth!
Peter Wolf BELIEVED every word and he imbibed every beat.
He put on a song like a bodysuit .
I saw Peter Wolf sitting three rows behind me at the Paul McCartney concert this past Sunday at Fenway (7/17/2016).
Peter's solo work is so underappreciated.Ride Lonseome Ride Hard brother!
Not by me
The wooba gooba himself Peter Wolf , a legend, articulating his words well, very well spoken, intelligent, Put them in the Rock n Roll hall of fame already!
One of the few, true great frontmen in rock n roll!
I've done the frontman gig for years. Like Mr. Wolf I Love a big stage to run around on!😎🎶🎵🎤
They loved Detroit, never missed them
" the sounds of those sonngs make it unique." Peter says.
Ya, Dylan and Fogerty are like that.
Peter Wolf as a young man in 1984. Long time ago. Good interview.
Peter the man, the artist and a big inspiration to me. I’ve grew up with his music and his songs are stuck with me forever and always bring me joy! Thank you Peter you’re a legend for me!

Happy Birthday Peter!
Stay Vital ❤️🙏👏🌹🔥
Just saw his show tonight Salisbury, Ma 10/09/21

I highly recommend. He’s still got the moves.
A really intelligent man and darn GOOD looking. GREAT VOICE TOO!!!!!
Oh yeah! i still put peters solo albums on and listen to the whole thing, sometimes it ends up being more than 1 album. One of my faves for sure!
I love his passion.
In the top 10 of front men in rock & roll history. The J Geils Band was one of my all time favorite live bands
Great interview! Love his music :)
I always thought Peter Wolf had the "moves like Jagger". And this was back in the 80's.
Love the song Tragedy with Shelby Lynne
Mick Jagger refers to Peter Wolf when asked about showmanship.
The interviewer said in 1984, there were too many concerts and not enough "shows". Now, it is all show and no real concert :-(
The man himself about his roots
What a wolf! Intelligent and handsome. Lucky Faye...
Love Riverside Drive, it's funkin' great!
HEART THROB!!

Loved him on Seinfeld.
Kramer???
One of the best frontmen...... EVER

More funky than James B
Little Richard indeed...Alan Freed...takes me back yep yep yep
Peter with magic live
Unstoppable
Seen them twice on their sanctuary tour with thin Lizzy, UFO ,nazareth and headliner journey
Wish journey opened but it was a bad ass show
Then when they opened for the rolling Stones at candlestick with George thorogood and I must say
Peter and magic stole the show
His real name is Peter Blankfield not Peter Wolf
For me the big question is, if Peter had stayed with The J. Geils Band. The next studio album after Freeze Frame OMG!!!
Why do we have to struggle to hear the interviewer? They don't seem to lack for recording equipment.
WHEN HE WAS YOUNG GUY....HANDSOME..
Is this the Peter Wolf that played keyboards in Frank Zappa's band?
No.
3 people didnt like this video...hmmm
Musta Got Lost
Some of the best frontmen....are Jews! Is Sammy Hagar Jew too? Roth is.
Peter married Faye Dunaway
And divorced her not long after..
