    The reason why men inherit double that of women isn’t due to gender inequality-but rather due to the fact that the inheritance of man, along with his wealth, will be spent on the womenfolk in his household and his family, since that’s his responsibility. The share of a man is not his, whilst the share of the women is completely hers. That’s what the sheikh should’ve said-because I felt as tho he didn’t really explain the verse itself but tried to work around it, and Allāh knows best.

    • @bullseye9723
      @bullseye9723 ปีที่แล้ว

      u didnt understand, the verse clearly proves the point that men and women are not equal and have different roles in society! nowadays women are working so does the verse change?? no right, coz women are not allowed to work except for few cases

    As an African Muslim I have made a conscious decision to make Hijra from the lands of the west I know there’s the Hadith of one gets what they intended by Hijrah but I think rather than marriage prospects it would just be better to go to a place that has Islam as a culture & religion in a traditional way . I know this is a skit but it reflects what really occurs here in the west that’s why Ramadan I have even went more Monk mode to mentally prepare myself for hijrah the behavior of progressive Muslim men & women alike drove me out

But what’s good about Muslim countries is the adhan and the people looking like you. But still people our age are more progressive and wanting to be like westerners.

    This is insanely inspiring, mashallah this video already has touched my heart. As a writer, it's incredible storytelling how the tensions circle back to the beginning of the video and the way it all started with a man's opinion of women's prayer rooms. The title is VERY clickbaity and I thought it was going to be one of those videos slandering women like so many of the videos in my recommendations have been (it's very exhausting) so I skipped it. I saw a clip on Instagram and it looked like it wasn't what the title suggested so I came back to check it out and it was actually good! I think the title is misleading, but hopefully it attracts those brothers (and sometimes sisters) who are obsessed with these "Man DESTROYS hijabi woman feminist liberal..." videos and knock some sense and REAL masculinity into them

      What is the real masculinity you speak of?

      @attas8790 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @EverythingAndroid Ois the ultimate role model for masculinity, which is the Prophet Muhammad SAW.A lot of the videos I have seen on such topics is just these men trying to be this "alpha male" and yelling and degrading women under the guise of "this is Islam!" The Prophet SAW was gentle, emotionally intelligent, and his character was not like a lot of these argumentative guys. It's sad, honestly. We all know men and women have different roles in society and in the household, but the way of delivery is horrible

    • @everythingandroidois
      @everythingandroidois ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@attas8790 I understand what you are saying, maybe you are referring to Mahdi Tjidandi.
      But there are others who are making clear gender roles who are men, and they are doing it well while acknowledging kindness, care, and sacrifice from both sides, while maintaining obedience of the husband and fulfilling other rights that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) stressed. These individuals like Daniel Haqiqatjou and Mohammed Hijab I would say. You should definitely give Daniel a watch on these topics, anyway Assalamualaykum, hope this was beneficial.

    Why do you call it "the islamic tradition" ? It's not a folklore dance or an attire it's not something that people blindly copied from their elders like a tradition would, it's the hadith of our prophet and the extensive and thorough scholarly work of our umma's scholars. We should stop using that word.

    Been following and watching OnePath Network for a long time and I must advise, fee sabeelillah: Please do not go down this path of showing women's 'awrah / beautified / make-up'd, etc. The same video can be produced while filming from the back + her arguing the same points. Plus, the complete mixing and men sitting behind women, etc...please my brothers and sisters, so many of us were so happy and hopeful regarding OnePath Network's trajectory. Please nip this in the bud. You know better than me. I will continue to support and pray for you all...but please do the right thing.

      what you described is exactly the problem with this ummah, and why people are sceptical of asking questions or learning about the deen. neither the lady nor the guy label themselves feminist or red pill (notice how you didn't call the guy feminist despite asking same question).
      we are more critical and falsely labelling people when they seek clarification, rather than point them to the right direction. and it's unhealthy. these are fellow Muslims brothers and sisters asking questions like everyone else, labelling them feminists or red pill is wrong.

    Our Islam should not be a "reaction" to the extremes of modern trends or ideologies, be it feminist or red pill. The path of Islam is al-wasat, the middle path. Thank you for this nuanced and well-scripted video!

    Shaykh tells we shouldn't go to any of the TWO extremes. OK. Yet the main guy in the video who refers to Qur'an and is supposed to be one of the two extremes is portrayed as arrogant and evil, while the main girl in the video, who's supposed to be other side of the extreme is portrayed to be a more decent person. Associating that guy with such improper qualities is major BS to me. Shaykh speaks correct but incomplete and tries to appeal feminists which is also another major BS. Bad video overall.

      Exactly my thoughts. I can smell feminist propaganda so easily now that from the first 2 minutes I knew they were trying to categorize “strong traditional Muslim men” into the “heartless, evil,racist,arrogant,misogynist” category. Therefore making the audience despise him and his views regardless of what he is saying is from the Quran. Why was it necessary for him to purposely lie to a random Muslim sister about praying in a dirty janitorial closet? Why does he have to racistly classify the Pakistani brother as another Indian? Straight propaganda
