LR asked Dimash to never sing this song again. Reason? Not sure, but rumor has it that D showed him up. Sadly, he does not sing it in any of his concerts. This is the only version of this song by D on YT that I am aware of. Glad I have it saved. His melisma is killer.

The thing that I love about this performance (besides his vocals) is that he came back to the very show that turned him into an overnight superstar and showed his great appreciation to the fans. When you decide to react to different artists, you might consider Hua Chenyu who appears at 5:34. He finished second in the 2018 Singer competition (Jesse J won first place) and he won the 2020 Singer competition. In my opinion, he is the most creative contemporary artist I know. In competitions he has rearranged a song given to him within 24 hours and make it his own. He has no genre as he sings everything on his own terms (including art, rock, rap, opera, etc.). His concerts (eg >90,000) literally sell out in minutes. After hearing this, he couldn't even get a ticket to his own concert since it was sold out again in 10 minutes. In one of his first auditions he sand a lyric-less song; one judge hated it, the second was confused. Fotunately the third judge (Laure who sang with Dimash in the Michael Jackson tribute in The 2017 Singer) recognized a kindred spirit and sang with him a lyric-less song, showing the other judges of his creativity- they voted and he passed the audition. I am soooooo happy that you will be seeing Dimash in person! I have to confess I am a little jealous also, but mostly happy! That is something that I also want to experience someday. I will be watching for tour dates here in the U.S. when concerts are allowed again. What I admire about Dimash doing covers is that he doesn't copy or mimic the original. With Hello, a massive hit for Lionel Richie in the 80's, Dimash rearranged it and added his own twist thus giving an East meets West feel but not in such a way that you lose the essence of the song. Like all good artist should - Dimash made this song his own ! Lionel would be proud !! Thank you Sabina - keep them coming !
My suggestion for the "Love of Tired Swans" is First view the Music Video. 2nd view Any of his "Live" concert performances. 3rd view his very short impromptu version in DUSSELDORF in which he comes off stage and down to the audience. I agree, watching Dimash perform makes us feel as if we have a personal relationship with him. He is so precious. He says that music is the way that he can connect with and express his feelings to his Dears. It is how and what he gives. It is profound.

I flew from England to Riga and it was the most amazing concert of my lifetime. He is simply incredible and has this aura about him. His level never drops in 2.5 hours on stage. I was buzzing for weeks after and i can't wait to see him again. Song recommendation: Unforgettable Day 1) Singer performance 2) Gakku performance where he hits the D8. Both are amazing live performances. Be safe.
This is from the Singer 2018. He got invited back to the event as a guest star in closing ceremony of the event. I love how he said I love you in chinese to feel closer to the chinese audience. He changed this song completely with the oriental arrangement and some kind of Kazakh minoric scales. It's great to find an artist cover a song in their own way and explore the creativity that we rarely see. Not to mention how a big person he is, saying thanks to the orchestra and being grateful to the chinese fans.
This is truly one of my favourite Dimash songs. I’m sure Lionel Ritchie would also be proud of the way Dimash has turned this classic into an unbelievable version of his original song. The courage you mention is a product of his unique God given talent and the dedication and single mindedness since the age of five to become the greatest singer of his generation. I am soooooo happy that you will be seeing Dimash in person! I have to confess I am a little jealous also, but mostly happy! That is something that I also want to experience someday. I will be watching for tour dates here in the U.S. when concerts are allowed again. I live in Montana and doubt he would have a concert anywhere nearby so I will most likely have to travel to a major city like LA or Seattle. Young lady I am one of your biggest fans. I just enjoy your reactions so much. You are getting to know Dimash in that special way we all have. The flute was absolutely beautiful in the song. We say he is an instrument himself! And as I have said before, you will get things worked out with how to do your videos to avoid strikes and please your fans. You are just learning. I personally think it would be best if you react to the live performance of Love of Tired Swans first and then the MV production second. It is beautiful but intense. What I admire about Dimash doing covers is that he doesn't copy or mimic the original. With Hello, a massive hit for Lionel Richie in the 80's, Dimash rearranged it and added his own twist thus giving an East meets West feel but not in such a way that you lose the essence of the song. Like all good artist should - Dimash made this song his own ! Lionel would be proud !! Thank you Sabina - keep them coming !

My suggestion for the "Love of Tired Swans" is First view the Music Video. 2nd view Any of his "Live" concert performances. 3rd view his very short impromptu version in DUSSELDORF in which he comes off stage and down to the audience. If you want to know what it's like to be at his concert then this a Must See video. Trust me, you won't regret it! Keep safe. 😊🏴👍

@Sabina, this is a fabulous suggestion to watch the Düsseldorf encore. I have watched a few videos of this and I am giving you the link to the one I think is the best which covers all four of the songs he did. The encore starts at 29.00 mins so you can avoid watching anything you haven’t yet seen. It is a compilation from different fancams and produced by Dimash’s German fan club and gives the best coverage I think! Looking forward to this so much, the encore will finish you off and you will be even more excited to be going to Prague next year!

Hi Sabina. Your an amazing reactor and supporter of Dimash. So pleased you are going to see him live. I went in early March. I flew from England to Riga and it was the most amazing concert of my lifetime. He is simply incredible and has this aura about him. His level never drops in 2.5 hours on stage. I was buzzing for weeks after and i can't wait to see him again. Song recommendation: Unforgettable Day 1) Singer performance 2) Gakku performance where he hits the D8. Both are amazing live performances. Be safe.

This is from the Singer 2018. He got invited back to the event as a guest star in closing ceremony of the event. I love how he said I love you in chinese to feel closer to the chinese audience. He changed this song completely with the oriental arrangement and some kind of Kazakh minoric scales. It's great to find an artist cover a song in their own way and explore the creativity that we rarely see. Not to mention how a big person he is, saying thanks to the orchestra and being grateful to the chinese fans.
