Most of the players struggle with well built 5 star units and sevy has been clearing abyss with her usual 4 star teams and it's surprisingly good. It's true we only need few units built properly who synergies well with each other . No big show off numbers just normal and easy gameplay,smooth .
Hi friend those characters that you call four Star most of them are C6 and very very well built in terms of energy recharge and em ratio you're better off compensating for the horrible artifacts you going to get by getting a strong 5 Star
@@M.H.D11 agreed ,but the point here is smooth gameplay clearing with ease while some of us struggle with 5 star units which definitely does higher damage even with decent builds than 4 star unit with higher cons. But everyone has their own views .
@@ashantusthaaatma3751 Those 4 stars are better than 5 stars, xiangling is the highest damaging sub dps. Xinqiu is crazy. Bennet is the best buffer. And sucrose is single target kazuha.
Imo, xinqiu is just straightup better than yelan who is a 5 star at c6r0 vs c0 r0. Also xiangling is better than emily a dedicated niche 5 star, sevy's xiangling is doing 60k vapes so idk what to say about that. Bennet is THE best character in the game, almost doubles your xianglings damage and any other atk sacling characters while healing. Sucrose buffs more than kazuha but is way harder to play and worse in AOE.

Yeah, I love clearing these myself first then coming over here to see how Sevy did it. It never ceases to amaze me how she rips through these challenges with 4* teams while I barely manage to 36 star with my 5* units lmao
I needed this guide so bad! I'm at end game content and doing my best to build my characters and their teams. It feels nice to see a player that has obtainable builds on their characters. Even better because they can clear Abyss. Hopefully, with some more time I'll be able to get to floor 12. Right now, I can get three stars in 9 through 10, but 11 is usually just one or two😅. I started regularly 36* Abyss at 4.0 but I still come here to watch your guides as I just love them. I used my husband, Wriothesley with Furina, Bennett and Xiangling in 1st half and Tighnari-Yae Miko-Baizhu-Fischl in 2nd. ^^

Now I know these floors are significantly easier than Floors 11 and 12, but the people NEED a guide on how to do those 2 Floors without crying themselves to sleep. Yeah, I completely forgot the Hydro phantasm was on 2nd half and I went in with Mualani Vape 😂 Somehow still managed to 3* thanks to Xiangling's burst (severely weakened due to using Fav with 255% ER), but if I didn't have a dolphin-ed out team on 1st half, I would've needed to restart
I used wanderer Furina faruzan and Bennett on the first half and arlechino yelan kazuha and xaingling on second half it was my first 36 star because of this guide so thank you!
Chamber 12 has always been a nightmare for me, but your tips helped a bunch. Mualani/Furina/Xianling/Bennett and Clorinde/Yae/Dehya/Chevy worked for me. Second half team might sound awkward, but I like using Dehya in every abyss so I tried. Now to wait for abyss to get filled to the brim with local legends lol
I feel like Abyss is getting easier and easier with the latest iterations. Not that I'm complaining though. Mualani practically destroyed the first half of floor 12.
well, it's catered towards her and kinich i assume but i was expecting more hp as both do massive damage quickly. I'm guessing the next abyss will ramp up in difficulty since xilonen is a healer/buffer but I'll take the easy primos this patch!
I used a very rare and obscure Furina/Neuvi/Kazuha/Dehya team for the first half and another obscure team made up of weaker characters like Nahida, Raiden, Yelan and Kokomi for the second half. Worked pretty well, highly recommend. I didn't use Zhongli because he needs the rest. I stopped abusing the elderly when I got C2 Dehya and started abusing the weak and frail. Also helps with the Cryo Fatui on 12-1 first half, may he rest in the charcoals I lighted with his Pyro friend's remains.

Here I am watching another abyss guide using national and hyperbloom as if I haven't used national and hyperbloom EVERY SINGLE TIME on abyss for years. Not complaining though, it freed me from pulling for meta and only going for waifu pulls ever since.

They do this every X.0 version, to make it a bit easier for new players or returning players. Once we are further into Natlan patches (5.4, 5.5, 5.6, etc) it will get *MUCH* harder.
1st watching ur Abyss Guide and I was just wanna write this: Thanks a lot! This helped me a lot. For floor 11 I used: - Kazuha, Xiangling, Bennett and Mualani - Kuki Shinobu, Furina, Nahida and Xingqiu And for floor 12 I used the same team but I couldnt get all the stars 😢 Only 1/2/1
Doesn’t hyv have a trend going on where the first half of abyss cycles of the new region is relatively easy and then the later patches come in and they want you to work for it, specifically the X.7 patches lmao

Thank you, in 4 years of playing this is the second time I manage to full stars the abyss. I completed the 2nd and 3rd chambers with full stars using the same teams but the problem was the first one. I finally managed to get 3 stars in the first by using Raiden, Xiangling, Bennet and Xingqiu & for the second phase Yae, Arlecchino, Chevreuse and Fischl.

If u hate kenki and want it to stay in place you can manipulate its rng, the kenki will dash less when you are ranged so you can stand outside its mele attack radius to bait its ranged attack and during the attack animation you have 3-5s dps time untill you need to go out of range and bait kenki ranged attack again, this is especially important when u use character that rely heavily on bennet

For fun I decided to use my Xiao team in this abyss since i haven’t really used it since January/February. When he has all the needed pieces his team feels great, I still think I prefer Wanderer but I definitely really like Xiao. Top F9-12: Xiao (R1 PJWS), Furina, Xianyun, Faruzan (C6) Bottom F9-12: Alhaitham, Raiden, Nahida (R1 1000 FD), Kokomi
All of these people coping in here about skill issue, but that machine in 12-3-2 appeared in like 4.6 at level 98 (compared to 100 now) and it has 15% more HP now, lol. People eating up these sponges like there's no tomorrow. The abyss for 5.1 also got a massive HP sponge hit, by increasing every enemies health in 12 by an incredible 55% compared to 5.0 and before. Everyone trying to cope here is at fault for this development.
I love this cycle. I was able to finish floor 12 with minimal repetitions, unlike the previous cycles where I leave it be even if I didn't get 9 stars the first try. Those where the dark days.
Some tips for 12-1-1: If you’ve done the Local Legend one before, the best approach is to kill both at the same time, so you not need to worry about DMG buff and degen field later on.
Top: Bennett / Emilie / Xiangling / Furina Bottom: Chevreuse / Beidou / Arlecchino / Fischl Pyro gunner on chamber 1 was the only hiccup, had to wait for Furina to slowly break his shield. Other than that it was smooth sailling. Both dendro bosses are so free that brute forcing with dendro comp is fine.
Note to everyone: this abyss focuses more on having elemental checks than anything, along with dps. My teams for this abyss was so random and I all I brought was the elements needed for certain enemies and a dmg dealer that I can slot in.
Managed to 36 star the abyss for the first time ever. This abyss was practically made for my arlecchino and Clorinde teams so I’m grateful for that. Fischl died on second floor but Clorinde still managed to kill PMA without her
The moment I started challenging the 11th and 12th of the Abyss I started realizing it's time to build my support characters, as all they do before was just to make reactions and heals my main dps.
This abyss was definitely one of the easier ones lately, and I managed to clear it with the comps I like. Shame that those little saurians were in 9 and 10 though. I didn't go all out on them, of course.
Tysm for the guide, I have to admit I do change to several 5* characters and cleared them similar to your result. Well a 36* is 36* even if I use meta characters but almost didn't make it in time😂
This abyss was easy but I hate the way they put boss in waves... Teams used: First half: Neuvillette, Furina, Dehya, Jean Second half: Navia, Xiangling, Bennet, Zhongli from the blessing, it seems my Navia will do insane numbers if I have Kachina with cinder set in place of Zhongli, but I rather just chill lol...
my only problem this abyss was trying not to cry after being flung for the 50th time by the yumkasaur's spin attack :'D very refreshing after the last few lineups, at least
I already 36*ed this one. First time ever doing so on the same day it became available. Sent Neuvillette hypercarry with Dehya and a hyperbloom team into floor 12. First two chambers were close, but still did the whole thing first try.
Team 1: Nuevillette, Furina, Kazuha, Charlotte Team 2: Al-Haitham, Nahida, Xingqiu (Yelan for floor 12), Kuki Music: Lost Sky - Dreams Easy clear 1st try (even tho my kazuha died to big chungus at the last). All floors same team.
I used Raiden overload (Raiden, Sara, Chevreuse, Xiangling) for top half, and Arlecchino for bottom half (Arle, Tankfei with TTDS, Chiori, Zhongli). Quite comfortable lol

I 36 starred it with literally alhaitham, nahida, kuki(C0) and barbara using 2 piece deep wood and 2 piece set of songs of the days past because I had to use my xingqiu in the first floor(first half) of the 12th floor to destroy Pyro shield of that fatui and somehow it worked really well.😭
Been playing since dragon spine was as far as you could go. Never bothered with the abyss till last banner, really wanted primos. Cleared everything till the last floor first try, it let me start back on that floor... Don't know why I haven't played it before... Way easier than the stage productions
For 12-1, try to group them together. There are consequences to killing one. They are legends so they buff each at death. Cryo field damage and pyro buffs the cryo legend.
This is my first time clearing the abyss in its entirety and I found it pretty easy I had 20 sec and on some floors 30 sec left it’s because I pulled mualani and used a double pyro + mualani and kazu and on the other team a hyper bloom In conclusion this abyss was easy 😁

On 12-1-1 if you kill the cryo gunner first, he will leave a large cryo field that deals a lot of damage, try to avoid that

FIshl is just a better yae, barbra is knockoff kokomi, kuki is great and dmc is good, hyperbloom best dps reaction.

mualani getting 80% dmg bonus is crazy from the buffs along with the enemies being made for her.

The next cycle will be much tankier because hoyo has buffed the hp multiplier for floor 12 fromn 2.5 to 3.75
This was just a taste test. They have one of the local legends in there already. They can always add the rest

If u hate kenki and want it to stay in place you can manipulate its rng, the kenki will dash less when you are ranged so you can stand outside its mele attack radius to bait its ranged attack and during the attack animation you have 3-5s dps time untill you need to go out of range and bait kenki ranged attack again, this is especially important when u use character that rely heavily on bennet

For fun I decided to use my Xiao team in this abyss since i haven’t really used it since January/February.
When he has all the needed pieces his team feels great, I still think I prefer Wanderer but I definitely really like Xiao.
Top F9-12: Xiao (R1 PJWS), Furina, Xianyun, Faruzan (C6)
Bottom F9-12: Alhaitham, Raiden, Nahida (R1 1000 FD), Kokomi

Abyss made specially for mualani and kinich they made less shileds in purpose and not many enemies as well
All of these people coping in here about skill issue, but that machine in 12-3-2 appeared in like 4.6 at level 98 (compared to 100 now) and it has 15% more HP now, lol. People eating up these sponges like there's no tomorrow. The abyss for 5.1 also got a massive HP sponge hit, by increasing every enemies health in 12 by an incredible 55% compared to 5.0 and before. Everyone trying to cope here is at fault for this development.
I tried the same teams and I just cannot get 3 stars to save my life. HOW?! :O

I love this cycle. I was able to finish floor 12 with minimal repetitions, unlike the previous cycles where I leave it be even if I didn't get 9 stars the first try. Those where the dark days.
Some tips for 12-1-1:
If you’ve done the Local Legend one before, the best approach is to kill both at the same time, so you not need to worry about DMG buff and degen field later on.
Top: Bennett / Emilie / Xiangling / Furina
Bottom: Chevreuse / Beidou / Arlecchino / Fischl
Pyro gunner on chamber 1 was the only hiccup, had to wait for Furina to slowly break his shield.
Other than that it was smooth sailling. Both dendro bosses are so free that brute forcing with dendro comp is fine.
I used Rational and AlhaithamSpread teams. It was very EASY. My second 36 stars.
Note to everyone: this abyss focuses more on having elemental checks than anything, along with dps. My teams for this abyss was so random and I all I brought was the elements needed for certain enemies and a dmg dealer that I can slot in.
Managed to 36 star the abyss for the first time ever. This abyss was practically made for my arlecchino and Clorinde teams so I’m grateful for that. Fischl died on second floor but Clorinde still managed to kill PMA without her
i have always had a rough idea on what to do in floor 12 when i see the boss line up, but its always assuring to see sevy do it first :]
Compared to the last three abysses this one felt like a daily commission
yep, they kinda make x.0 abysses easy (at least since 3.0), then gradually make it more difficult, usually culminating in x.7
The moment I started challenging the 11th and 12th of the Abyss I started realizing it's time to build my support characters, as all they do before was just to make reactions and heals my main dps.

This abyss was definitely one of the easier ones lately, and I managed to clear it with the comps I like. Shame that those little saurians were in 9 and 10 though. I didn't go all out on them, of course.
Tysm for the guide, I have to admit I do change to several 5* characters and cleared them similar to your result. Well a 36* is 36* even if I use meta characters but almost didn't make it in time😂

This abyss was easy but I hate the way they put boss in waves...

Second half: Navia, Xiangling, Bennet, Zhongli
from the blessing, it seems my Navia will do insane numbers if I have Kachina with cinder set in place of Zhongli, but I rather just chill lol...
It felt so bad having to kill the baby saurians 😭

I already 36*ed this one. First time ever doing so on the same day it became available. Sent Neuvillette hypercarry with Dehya and a hyperbloom team into floor 12. First two chambers were close, but still did the whole thing first try.
At this point, the Dendro chicken is living rent free in the abyss 🤔

I used Raiden overload (Raiden, Sara, Chevreuse, Xiangling) for top half, and Arlecchino for bottom half (Arle, Tankfei with TTDS, Chiori, Zhongli). Quite comfortable lol
Now i can unleash my 2 year hatred for consecreated beasts
There I am, with two teams full with 5 stars and cannot get all abyss stars, she wins with all 4 stars.
PS: My teams is raiden C2 national with Yelan, and Navia, chiori C1, furina and charlotte.

I 36 starred it with literally alhaitham, nahida, kuki(C0) and barbara using 2 piece deep wood and 2 piece set of songs of the days past because I had to use my xingqiu in the first floor(first half) of the 12th floor to destroy Pyro shield of that fatui and somehow it worked really well.😭
Been playing since dragon spine was as far as you could go. Never bothered with the abyss till last banner, really wanted primos. Cleared everything till the last floor first try, it let me start back on that floor... Don't know why I haven't played it before... Way easier than the stage productions

For 12-1, try to group them together. There are consequences to killing one. They are legends so they buff each at death. Cryo field damage and pyro buffs the cryo legend.
This is my first time clearing the abyss in its entirety and I found it pretty easy I had 20 sec and on some floors 30 sec left it’s because I pulled mualani and used a double pyro + mualani and kazu and on the other team a hyper bloom
In conclusion this abyss was easy 😁
