I never played this before but everyone always talks about the game so I bit the bullet and got the NWT Replicade which arrived yesterday. It's a pretty fun game but man is it hard, especially on that small machine lol. Great video again by you and Mr. HotttieRangus
The nwt cabinet is great I agree. Honestly ghosts n Goblins is hard as hell no matter which format you use to play it haha. It's just a tough game. But it balances that line of toughness and fun probably better than any game I've ever played. Because usually games that are extremely difficult are no fun to play. Can't say that about ghosts n goblins.
I agree ghosts n Goblins is a game I can pop in any time and still enjoy. Even if I don't make it very far haha. I've actually been debating on buying an arcade1up final fight for cheap and reskinning it as ghosts n goblins. I think that would look really cool in the game room.
I've never gotten past the 3rd level. I doubt I'll ever get around to finishing this game, especially when you have to beat the game twice to get the ending. But it is fun to fire up every now and then and play.
Yep my thoughts too haha. I beat it a few years ago with emulation using save states. But I've never been able to pop in the NES cart and beat it. Even this playthrough here we only made it to level 3 but we're probably up to almost 2 hours into the game. We just kept dying over and over. Which is what usually happens haha. Forget the unlimited continues if you can't beat the level.
This game is in my top 5 on the NES games of all times. The perfect game for today.. Thanks for sharing.
Mine too. It's tough but it still has that fun factor to it and it still holds up really well.

It's still a classic. How some games never lose their glimmer. It's definitely a hard one though.

Yeah watch me suck ass at this game for about 20 minutes straight haha. It's definitely a fun game. Really good. But yeah it's hard as hell.
This is a game I dont mind getting stuck at on the first levels lol
