You’ve done an amazing job telling the story of Peter Stump and I can’t help but feel pity for him. The man who played him did an amazing job conveying the emotions he was feeling. Nice work boys!
All of the care that went into the work of the performers, the makeup, the ambiance, and the incredible costumes in this production make this song so much more impressive and special. Another reason why Powerwolf is such a top-tier group.
Mr Cusato did an Amazing job!! Huge props to the MUAs and the costume/garb department for nailing that "pathetic, wet, and miserable" look perfectly!! Stellar MV with stellar work put into it!!
Powerwolf has created such incredible suspense and tension, 🎃💀👻 keeping us on the edge of our seats throughout listening to this new single. It's a powerful sound from the band. Congratulations to everyone involved in creating such an epic visual experience.
Wow I love the behind the scenes the acting singing the everything it just adds to the music and adds to the storytelling thank you so much this was amazing powerwolf forever

How awesome would it have been to be there and make a music video with Powerwolf. Awesome behind the scenes video. Can't wait to see this song live in September!
I knew this village seemed familiar! The series about life on a Tudor Monastery Farm is probably one of my favorite playlists to binge. th-cam.com/play/PLjgZr0v9DXyK9Cc8PG0ZhDt2i2eQ_PEvg.html&si=3OnOZr396l0Is-ah
I've just read a comedy book by Polish author Andrzej Pilipiuk, where the main character is an old drunkard, that is a self-proclaimed exorcist. It's a fun read but I doubt it's translated to English. The interesting thing is, that the author described werewolves as someone who has a hole in their armpit, that allows them to turn into a wolf form or reverse into human, by literally turning themselves inside out (just like turning ones t-shirt inside out). He wrote that those were no normal ones, but Ukrainian werewolves which I found as a most curious thing, because after a little search I can't find anything about this (which would mean that's it's author's fantasy). Nevertheless still an interesting alternative :)
To think that Powerwolf has created such a great distribute to someone in history, this makig of 1589 sure was very pleasing to watch. But I cant help thinking, I bet in modern time women killing werewolf probarly wouldnt be as cool as its thought nowdays :D
Very nice clip. I really like Powerwolf, I really like your music and you are without doubt one of the best metal bands of the last years with incredible melodies and great guitar parts and really nice personalities. So I adore you. But just a word about the clip...it's still a shame to fall into the trap of our times by placing a black extra here and there in the Middle Ages...frankly...the clip was shot in England and that is perhaps why this dose of wokism arrives between the paws of the wolves (because England is contaminated by wokism), but it is a real shame. Besides the total anachronism which makes the presence of these people in your clip ridiculous, that's where the real racism hides, using one or two black people to show that we love everyone, even when they don't have not their place and here, in this medieval village, they really have no place. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks this. Be careful, my Powerwolf friends, not to fall into the wokism that is ruining society... Your image would suffer...
Referring to the 1500s, specially so late in that century as 1589, as "middle ages" is very controversial - so is talking about them as a "dark" or "black" age. Also, the plague in the late 1500s? That's a new one. And, yeah, it seems the direction of this video, in terms of religion, was kinda strange, too, with both Catholics and Protestants characters aligned. True, we don't know for sure which church - or both - participated in Stump's trial, but still.... It's Germany in the late 1500s, for Christ's sake! Caths and Protexx very probably wouldn't have worked together. Indeed, the historicity of this video is very lacking. Now that my Humanities inner self has spoken, I gotta say: POWERWOLF remains my favorite band ever, whether we're talking about music, videos, shows, or just overall aesthetic. They're the best! I was already hyped for Wake Up the Wicked before "1589," but the song and the video just made me so much more hyped. Looking forward to seeing the wolves live again and again!
I love that the public yelling parts arent even heard in the video but they fully go for it for the effect and its so cool

LOVE the orchestral version of Alive or Undead in the outtro.
I knew it fitted as soon as I heard it 😎
The quality of production is insane! 🔥🤘

Finally! A behind-the-scenes video. Been waiting for one for a while.
Honestly I'd watch a full fledge movie like this. Especially if Power wolf sang in parts of the movie like damn this would be cool
Was thinking the same thing 😅

Now I say you could make a movie out of this. I'd certainly watch it.
Well done guys.
This song is so powerful and beautiful a combination Powerwolf can create the best 🤘🐺
Finally, what an amazing performance by everyone involved.
Louis Cusato embodies Peter Sttump 1 : 1 , all actors and the band are brilliant and 1589 is not as far as it seems 🔥🐺🔥
I love to see behind-the-scenes stuff! The actors all did such a wonderful job, and really gave it their all.
Ain't no one gonna talk about how this howling prowess of a video illustrating a werewolf song is directed by a man named Barker?
This video contains my soul.
Everything I feel.
All my pain and experiences. It's like I'm living in this video.
And its AMAZING.
