When you start watching the podcast to find out more about dance and the way Phillip sees dance ending up being absorbed by the thought of how actually wise he is and how unique his view point on life and dance is. It’s my new favorite podcast!

Hearing what Phillip Chbeeb (as the KING of creating movements in such a unique way) has to say about finding ur own style is gonna be sooooo helpful. I’ve always wondered how he and Makenzie make choreographies that nobody can. TYSM STEEZY ❤️

as a physics major, and an aspiring dancer and singer, i've always thought that being a jack of "many" trades hindered my growth as an individual, but hearing his perspective on why he doesnt put a 100% of himself of something changed my perspective and actually given me the validation i didnt think i needed damn

51:41 it's interesting to hear about the competitive aspect of dance because I saw the "3 choreographers 1 song" as 3 different interpretations of musicality and the dancers' personal experience (ex. Krumping or ballet), so I enjoyed it for variety and not necessarily "who's the best"

Love this sooooo much! Also, just wanna say that I like the lack of tension in your videos. The workspace that you try to cultivate translates through your work and it makes me happy :) We have enough tension in the world--feel-good, informative, high-quality videos are just what is need sometimes.

What the heck this is a beautiful conversation. I'm still trying to find dance friends to talk about other aspects of dancing. My current dance friends, we usually just kind of talk about how hard the class was, what classes to take etc. Anytime I try to open it to other dimensions of dance they just nod along lol

I really appreciate this sort of casual discussion about dance. Thank you so much for these! It makes me feel connected to the dance community even though I'm mostly just using STEEZY in my living room haha.

very inspirational! For every freestyler..there is not right or wrong when it comes to dance. I have to stop compare myself with others. Even my dream is to be in the first row
