I've never seen flips look so much like a natural part of the dance. Usually they are used as an impact moment and feel acrobatic but here it felt more fluid with the rest of the dance
Steezy got Tam who has the ability to do flips out of nowhere, Philip who has insane floor work and Jaja who can kill the beat despite being 7 months pregnant. These aren't regular dancers, they are MUTANTS 😂😂😩
The wildest part about that point on Phillip? Way early in his dancing career, that was his WORST skill. He was more of a trick master type Crazy how he evolved. And now that’s one of his best skills. And even then, he STILL super leveled up his waving and popping, his core skills He’s incredible
They were all amazing but Jaja was my personal favourite. Her patience and her isolations really fit the song. To move like that while pregnant is amazing!
all three of them are so well versed in movement, they are so creative and everything they did was so effortless. Truly they are some of the best of the best!
Not sure if you guys take suggestions but.... I think what would be pretty cool to watch would be professional dancers reacting to non-dancers make there own choreography 😂
Three incredible dancers. Tam is a ball of fire and dances like she is in a battle. Phillip is mind boggling how he can be so calculated and so fluid at the same time. Jaja is so unique and creative. That moment where she watched something float away, caught it, then threw it down... yessss!! Haha
Jaja is the reason I practiced isolations for 3 years!❤ the 1st time I saw her dance I was like "I WANT TO HAVE BODY CONTROL LIKE THAT"! And I was 46 at the time! And hadn't danced for years. Watching her made me remember that I loved to dance❤
Can we T A L K about how Phillip's floor work is so intentional. The dance scene usually throws floor work like ticking a box on a list of things teams need to be able to showcase, but Phillip's floor work was so interesting, complicated, and overall just so well thought.
Watch it again from the start with the idea that she has something sticky stuck to her fingers, hands, arms that she's trying to wipe off. It's a running theme through the whole dance and she finally gets rid of it at the end with that final movement of the hand and her eyes and head looking at the floor and behind her as she walks away. I feel like it's perfectly inspired by the "can you let it go? can you let it go?" lyrics. She let it go at the end. And the idea of something sticking to you can be symbolic of anything you struggle to let go of... anger, hurt, pain, anguish, unforgiveness... but I think the intensity of crump in between those soft movements of wiping something off shows the intensity of the internal battle one can go through when trying to shake something off. Inspired.
I love that Tam did a lot more movement during the silent part of song compared to the other two. It just highlights how unique each other's interpretations of the song is. To me as the audience, I'm getting the "silence can also be loud" vibe and I LOVE THAT. I love that this made me think. Thank you steezy and to these freaking amazing choreographers!
I remember watching phillip chbeeb on step up. He was in step up 4 and step up 5. He was one of the choreographers in it so I have been a huge fan and everytime when I see him dance it inspires me . His contemporary dance in this video is out of this world. Love you phillip.
One thing I appreciate about tam’s use of tricks/flips in her choreography, is that the music actually did indeed call for the movement and it was executed FLAWLESSLY and w/o giving it away to the audience. The balance between movement and tricks truly did the most for her message she was trying to portray. (A skill that is truly hard to come by). In regards to all choreographers, each piece was absolutely stunning in its own respect. This “experiment” truly makes me appreciate just how talented every dancer is-all bringing something exquisite and different from the other. Makes me realize a lot of us (choreographers, dancers, even non dancers) often minimize just how special our own movement efforts and qualities are. No two people generate the same energy.
i love what they did with this song, this song is so powerful by its self and these three dancers just rlly made it better, like they rlly did what the song was saying in their dances los vas a orvidar is such a beautiful song
OMG. This made me so emotional and happy. I literally adore all 3 of them and I follow them on Instagram and see how amazing they are but honestly I am like tearing up just to see them together in one video. They are super humans I swear.
Usually I have a favorite, when they do these 3 dancer one song things. But all three of them just brought something so different, and so dope. You can't compare them.
This has to be my favorite episode so far. I have been following Pacman's whole career and I just love everything about this. The spectrum of emotion from these dancers is bananas.
Really fun to see some softer, more introspective music in this series, and these three dancers all brought amazing musicality and technicality to it... I got a little teary.
YO it's great to see Jaja again and to know that she's actively dancing. I remember her audition on SYTYCD. Phillip beat me to it. She has come the furthest style wise. It's more difficult to go from a street style to classic. Shout out to her.
Tam is just incredible. I love how her hair is dyed in such a way that makes it look like it’s glowing in some areas while she’s dancing, and matches her wrist tattoo. Such a minor detail yet adds to her so much.
That was sick! And I love the 3-way split screen of different takes at the end, was cool to see little variations in the expression and landing of some moves. I LOVE how Jaja is constantly playing with this thing in her hand throwing it up, catching it, but particularly at the end it's like something sticky is stuck to her hand and she's tryna wipe it off and... "let it go". The whole dance is playing with the "can you let it go?" lyric. So inspired.
One of the best lineups so far and that’s no shade to the many many others who have taken part. Personally I’d never seen Tam knowingly and I’m gobsmacked.
This was refreshing. Nice choice of song too. Jaja's body control. Gotta love ISO . It would be so cool to have a video with 3 dancers who specialise in ISO go up against each other
Jaja really nailed a storytelling element that I initially didn’t expect. Her dance ignited my imagination. I’m so inspired just watching her movements tie together. She’s next level, pregnant or not. Wow!!!
I loved this whole video. The chory was amazing. Tam, loved her incorporated flips look natural and her piece was really personal. Philip, loved how he traveled on the floor and Jaja, wow. My sense of time went out the door. 😍🥰🤩
I have never seen anyone do flips as smooth and effortless as that. Damn. AND ALSO THANK YOU STEEZY for bring IaMmE here! Got so excited to see them here since I grew up watching them.
They all inspire me so much for a long time! So it's really cool see them all interpret the same song in different ways, they are all so so unique... Def a favorite from the series!
I've never seen flips look so much like a natural part of the dance. Usually they are used as an impact moment and feel acrobatic but here it felt more fluid with the rest of the dance
Well said! Felt the same way.
Exactly
It's like her feet were magnetized to the floor it was crazy sturdy and graceful
Yassss perfecr
Her body control is insane.
"i look more pregnant than she does"
"It's unfair 'coz it's 2 on 1"
shit really had me dying 😂😂
Lol as a mother who dances.... having one in the oven, dancing, and *trying* to think of choreography, yeah that's a hindrance and not a leg up 🥴🤣
@@CharlyNorthrup and y'all being able to pull that off.... That's what makes it amazing right there! 🤯👏 that should be illegal! 😂
i love how casually they are about being some of the most talented people on the planet
Fucking, this!
“ most talented” do you realize how many people have talent on this planet? Lol it comes down to them being themselves.
in terms of dancing, they are top tier @@sovietninja6865

Many ppl at seven months pregnant: hey hubby help me I can't tie my shoe laces

she's amazin female robotic dancer 🙌
Seeing this video I just remembered Phillip and Jaja dated 7-8 years ago. It's beautiful to see they still have respect for each other.
Was coming to the comments to state he also dated tam too 😅(yes I'm months late lol)

I LOVE contemporary hip hop and I'm so glad to see it featured in this series! All three absolutely KILLED IT

10:52 My soul floated... just watching Phillip hit the lingering notes. Always loved him since SYTYCD - just legendary!
The second choreography was beautiful! It felt so honest...his expression was dripping in emotion.
I've never seen someone doing tricks as effortlessly as Tam. She was flying. Such an incredible performance
Now this is fire 🔥 they all killed it ❤️not to mention the way I screamed when Tam flipped 😳✨
So hard to do on cement floors too - no spring to help give you that bounce, so that's all her core strength on display.
