loved this. I've been thinking about White Numen. I really like the art. There are a few cards I'm not sure I get though. But it's on my list non the less! Oh Starman! I got that one this summer and it's so cool. I agree, that it's sorta best to get to know it in smaller pulls and sitting with it. And the guidebook is so so good. I love the way they wrote it. It all has that very otherworldly, visionary, Aquarian vibe. Which is the Bowie vibe lol, but agree, one does not need to really know about Bowie to tap into it and enjoy or get a ton of use out of that deck. I did do one big spread with it and that took time to process for me, but it was very profound and accurate. I wish I had used it more this summer. Heck, I'll pull it out today for a three card maybe. The artist said in an interview I watched that he thought it was ideal for readings around creativity, visions, bringing those visions to life and that sort of thing and I agree. It really excels there. I've edged mine in a hot pink to match the back details and it came out so perfect! Really made it feel complete.
Thank you so much for your comment & shares! It was so fun to read. I bet those pink edges match the deck perfectly! Now that I know it a little better, it is easier to do larger pulls with it. I never thought about doing creative and visionary pulls with it but am excited to give this a try as it totally seems like it would be perfect for it! - In terms of the white numen there are certainly a few cards that seem to deviate from the normal depictions, namely the devil and the tower off the top of my head. However, I found even with the small guidebook , the description of these cards does bring the vision to life & make sense for what they were attempting to depict. Much love to you! 💖
