I love that you chose to interpret the prompt as "falling in love". While I/ we may not all practice the same beliefs, I think we can all relate to the satisfaction we feel when we begin to notice ourselves feeling more comfortable in our element. I ofcourse am always intrigued by the evolution of the human spirit/ mind and the tools that get us there. I always enjoy hearing about all of your different journals and their functions- I know first hand how incredible it can feel to give a home to our musings and discoveries. Always evolving, always discovering 🙌

Hi, Leanne. I really liked this video, like so many other of your videos. I just wanted to say that if you're willing to give an animal-based tarot deck another try, then I recommend Dreaming Cat Tarot. It is a Rider Waite Smith clone. I am recommending this particular deck to you because it is VERY similar in vibe and illustration to The Happy Tarot, which you've mentioned in previous videos. I wouldn't be surprised if the deck illustrator were the same for the two decks. 😊

loved this. I've been thinking about White Numen. I really like the art. There are a few cards I'm not sure I get though. But it's on my list non the less! Oh Starman! I got that one this summer and it's so cool. I agree, that it's sorta best to get to know it in smaller pulls and sitting with it. And the guidebook is so so good. I love the way they wrote it. It all has that very otherworldly, visionary, Aquarian vibe. Which is the Bowie vibe lol, but agree, one does not need to really know about Bowie to tap into it and enjoy or get a ton of use out of that deck. I did do one big spread with it and that took time to process for me, but it was very profound and accurate. I wish I had used it more this summer. Heck, I'll pull it out today for a three card maybe. The artist said in an interview I watched that he thought it was ideal for readings around creativity, visions, bringing those visions to life and that sort of thing and I agree. It really excels there. I've edged mine in a hot pink to match the back details and it came out so perfect! Really made it feel complete.

THANK YOU for this review - i'm so sick of 'reviews' of oracle/tarot cards to only be an unboxing and flipthrough from a lot of people who (and forgive me for sounding brutal here) seem to collect these things as impulse purchases for their hoard because shiny, rather selecting a tool they wish to use on a regular basis. if i want a review i want a REVEW from someone who has actually sat with it a while and used it and get their thoughts and opinions on working with the deck - not first impressions from opening a box. Thank you for filling this gaping gap in the area! I'm not a collector, so I want to make sure that the decks I add to my toolkit are the right ones for the job and not falling for the 'ooh shiny' magpie effect.

I have. I used to converse with one in a house I used to live in. She was playful and a little naughty. I put firm boundaries about by young daughter. She didn't like my husband. He was abusive, but she never said or did anything to him until he was cruel. He waited until the night of my birthday to ask for a divorce. He hadn't spoken any other words to me the entire day. He was unemployed and staying up all night watching tv and then passing out on the couch. That is when she would start terrorizing him. He asked me to ask her to stop because she liked me. Begrudgingly I did. She didn't listen. He asked me to ask her again, and I told him no. Obviously, it was something he was going to have to work out with her. She never stopped the entire rest of the time we lived there, which wasn't long enough if you ask me. 😂

I’m trying to paint my own deck, I had a question: did you put any kind of finish on your cards (over your pic/paint) so It won’t rub off while continue shuffling. I’m not sure what to use. Thank you 😊

Thanks for your honest review. I have stopped buying Rebecca’s Campbell decks after the Rose Oracle, to me it felt SO similar to her WYL & Starseed Oracle and it felt off, almost like rushed and this one feels the same (and I’m sure her new Ancient Stones is the same). Thanks for expressing your honest opinion, it takes courage to do that nowadays when people are so eager to jump at your throat if you don’t have the same opinion as them.

I just edged my Tarot of the Vampyres in red. I used crayola markers. They work well for me. I’ve edged a few decks.

Hi, Leanne. Thanks for this video. I relate to much of what you said. I think that the coffee cup analogy is so apt! I also collect coffee mugs. For the same reason as you, I need mine to be microwavable. I also was gifted an coffee mug warmer (basically a tiny hot plate), and that helps as well. Back to cards, I'm more into oracle decks than tarot cards. Even so, several decks that you showed on camera intrigued me. Re Tarot of the Vampires: I recommend watching the video called "Tarot Cards for Modern Vampires" on the TH-cam channel by Maven of the Eventide. Elisa, the host, interviews the man who wrote the guidebook. It was very fun to get the "inside scoop" on that deck. All of your offerings look amazing. I feel like I've found a kindred spirit! Keep up the good work! 🙂

Thank you for this! I wasn't sure if I wasn't missing out on the Healing Waters Oracle. The artwork is pretty, but the guidebook needs to be good too for me to buy a deck. The Ocean Dream Oracle is one of my favorite oracles! I subscribed!

I have both decks wouldn’t cross my mind to strike comparisons, they’re both unique and beautiful and work in different ways. Feels a bit like comparing crystals.You’re going to connect with a crystal in different ways at different times for different needs, but doesn’t make one inferior, just less in resonance to you personally.

Nice review ☺I love oracles and I have the Work your light and Starseed oracles from Rebecca, and I have Moonchild and Starchild Tarot from Danielle. but I just don't connect with neither of these decks...both seems too disconnected, although I can understand why you connect with the Ocean dreams more...but then, I see the Mermaid card and I'm just...how do I interpret this? and I am pretty intuitive and always get something from the cards but...at least Rebecca's has some keywords, although they don't connect with the image either...so...I'm gonna pass on these...at this point it seems they are doing this just to sell something

I really appreciate this comparison. I have and LOVE the Ocean Dreams. To me, it was interesting that after Danielle created her deck, a year later Rebecca came out with her water deck. I feel like I have a bias over the artwork, as I am a massive fan of Danielle's artwork, and for me, the new artist that Rebecca is working with does not resonate with me. And it's not that the art isn't nice to look at. I found that with the rose oracle, I am relying so much on the keywords and what I had read from the guidebook because there was not a lot to intuitively spark with the images (even though it is pretty to look at). I love the crisp layers that Danielle creates that give such depth to the cards and often get more of a reading just from the art before looking at the words and guidebook that accompany it. I was feeling so bleh after getting the Rose oracle, I did not bother to purchase the water deck. I may in the future, but I think I would rather search for the perfect watery, mermaid tarot to go with Ocean Dreams.
