Both Islam and Christianity are false. Bible, Psalm 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun 🌞
Quran says "Alif Lam Ra". Ra is the Ancient Egyptian Sun God.
The English word for "God" comes from the Hebrew word Elohim which means gods. The "gods" that the ancient people worshipped in the beginning were the stars. So the Bible's Genesis 1:1 should have been written as "In the beginning the stars created the heaven and the earth".
Remember, our Sun is a star ⭐
The word "Angel" means Messenger in Hebrew, it is referring to star/s. A star/s gives us messages. They are our Messengers. Like when to plant seeds and when to harvest etc. Stars move across the sky as if they had wings. That's why we see statues of Angels with wings. They are really statue about stars with wings. "Fallen Angels are just "fallen stars" 🌠
Bible Malachi 4:2 Sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays.
Bible, Psalm 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun 🌞

The beauty of Islam is that it's like a sea of knowledge. There's something new to learn everyday. Even after 35 years of bieng a Muslim I can tell you I learn something new about Islam everyday. But don't wait or postpone your shahadah if you are planning of converting to Islam. If you are familiar with the the 5 basic pillars of Islam, The shahadah, the 5 daily prayers, charity, fasting during Ramadan and Hajj, I'd say go for it. You can continue learning even after your shahadah. If you want to really start experiencing the beauty of Islam, you have to take that first step, the shahadah. I believe you guys are already there.

Just to clarify a point, In Islam, devoting yourself in loneliness for God and neglecting the daily duties towards family is highly criticized. This is not a prophetic tradition to follow. No prophet has done that in the past. So, this kind of devotion like Nuns and Priests (don't marrying) is not the Islamic way. In Islam, marriage is a very necessary thing. Infect, supporting your family, feeding your wife, stay beside her and have good children, make them learn the right way of life, contributing in society is far greater deeds than, devotion in loneliness. Also, we believe, Jesus (Peace be upon him) will be coming back in the future and will get married and have families.

@@randommthrfkr6568 The Prophets (peace be upon them) vary in status over one another. This is something that has been stated by Allah in His Book and by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in His Sunnah.
Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Those Messengers! We preferred some of them to others; to some of them Allah spoke (directly); others He raised to degrees (of honour); and to ‘Eesa (Jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), We gave clear proofs and evidences, and supported him with Rooh-ul-Qudus [Jibreel (Gabriel)]” [al-Baqarah 2:253]
Shaykh Muhammad al-Ameen al-Shanqeeti (may Allah have mercy on him) said: With regard to the words “others He raised to degrees (of honour)”, in other places it is indicated that among them is Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), such as the verses in which Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“It may be that your Lord will raise you to Maqaam Mahmoud (a station of praise and glory, i.e., the honour of intercession on the Day of Resurrection” [al-Isra’ 17:79]
“And We have not sent you (O Muhammad) except as a giver of glad tidings and a warner to all mankind, but most of men know not” [Saba’ 34:28]
“Verily, I am sent to you all as the Messenger of Allah” [al-A’raaf 7:158]
“Blessed be He Who sent down the criterion (of right and wrong, i.e. this Quran) to His slave (Muhammad) that he may be a warner to the ‘Aalameen (mankind and jinn)” [al-Furqaan 25:1]
Elsewhere Allah indicates that Ibraaheem (peace be upon him) is also one of them, as He says (interpretation of the meaning):
“And Allah did take Ibraaheem (Abraham) as a Khaleel (an intimate friend)”

*Academic Views about Prophet Muhammed (saw).* Prophet MUHAMMAD (S)❤️ is The Only Real Hero.He is above every human who has walked the earth, simply because he was a direct messenger of the Almighty..
      1) Reverend Bosworth Smith (1794-1884) Late Fellow of Trinity College, Oxford.
"… Without a standing army, without a bodyguard, without a palace, without a fixed revenue, if ever any man had the right to say that he ruled by a right Divine, it was Mohammed; for he had all the power without its instruments and without its supports."
      [Mohammed and Mohammedanism, London, 1874, p. 235]
      2) David George Hogarth (1862-1927) English archaeologist, author, and keeper of the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford.
“Serious or trivial, his daily behaviour has instituted a canon which millions observe this day with conscious mimicry. No one regarded by any section of the human race as Perfect Man has been imitated so minutely. The conduct of the Founder of Christianity has not so governed the ordinary life of His followers. Moreover, no Founder of a religion has been left on so solitary an eminence as the Muslim Apostle.”
      [Arabia, Oxford, 1922, p. 52]
      3) JULES MASSERMAN,an American psychoanalyst.
"Leaders must fulfill three functions -provide for the well-being of the led, provide a social organization in which people feel relatively secure, and provide them with one set of beliefs.
People like Pasteur and Salk are leaders in the first sense. People like Gandhi and Confucius, on one hand, and Alexander, Caesar and Hitler on the other, are leaders in the second and perhaps the third sense. Jesus and Buddha belong in the third category alone. Perhaps the greatest leader of all times was Mohammed, who combined all three functions. To a lesser degree, Moses did the same."
(Jules Masserman in 'Who Were Histories Great Leaders?' in TIME Magazine, July 15, 1974)
      4) K.S Ramakrishna Rao, an Indian Professor of Philosophy in his booklet, ("Muhammad, The Prophet of Islam") calls him the:
      "Perfect model for human life."
Prof. Ramakrishna Rao explains his point by saying:
"The personality of Muhammad (pbuh), it is most difficult to get into the whole truth of it. Only a glimpse of it can I catch. What a dramatic succession of picturesque scenes! There is Muhammad (pbuh), the Prophet. There is Muhammad (pbuh), the Warrior, Muhammad (pbuh), the Businessman; Muhammad (pbuh), the Statesman; Muhammad (pbuh), the Orator; Muhammad (pbuh), the Reformer; Muhammad (pbuh), the Protector of Slaves; Muhammad (pbuh), the Emancipator of Women; Muhammad (pbuh), the Judge; Muhammad (pbuh), the Saint. All in all these magnificent roles, in all these departments of human activities, he is like a hero."
("Muhammad, The Prophet of Islam"- K.S Ramakrishna Rao.)
      5) Alphonse de Lamartine (d. 1869) was a French poet, politician, and writer who was influential in the foundation of the Second Republic.
"If greatness of purpose , smallness of means , and astounding results are the three criteria Of human genius , Who could dare to compare any great man in modern history with Muhammed ???
Philosopher, Orator , Apostle , Legislator , Warrior , Conquerror of Ideas , Restorer of Rational Dogmas , of a Cult without Images ; The founder of Twenty Terrestrial Empires and of One Spiritual Empire , that is Muhammad. As regards All Standards by which Human Greatness may be measured , We may well ask , is there any Man greater than He ???
      [ Lamartine - Histoire De La Turquie , Paris 1854 , vol II ,PP 276-77 ]
      6) Karen Armstrong, an acclaimed author on comparative religion.
"Islam is a religion of success. Unlike Christianity, which has as its main image, in the west at least, a man dying in a devastating, disgraceful, helpless death… Mohammed was not an apparent failure. He was a dazzling success, politically as well as in spirituality, and Islam went from strength to strength to strength."
      {Karen Armstrong, “Transcript: Bill Moyers Interviews Karen Armstrong,” Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), March 1, 2002.}
      7) Michael H. Hart (1932- ) Professor of astronomy, physics and the history of science.
"My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world's most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular level."
[The 100: A Ranking Of The Most Influential Persons In History, New York, 1978, p. 33]
      8) John William Draper (1811-1882) American scientist, philosopher, and historian.
“Four years after the death of Justinian, A.D. 569, was born in Mecca, in Arabia, the man who, of all men, has exercised the greatest influence upon the human race… To be the religious head of many empires, to guide the daily life of one-third of the human race, may perhaps justify the title of a messenger of God.”
[Draper, J. W. (1905). History of the Intellectual Development of Europe. New York and London: Harper and Brothers Publishers. Vol 1, pp. 329-330.]
      9) Samuel P. Scott (d. 1929), an American scholar and jurist.
"In any event, if the object of religion be the inculcation of morals, the diminution of evil, the promotion of human happiness, the expansion of the human intellect; if the performance of good works will avail in that great day when mankind shall be summoned to its final reckoning, it is neither irreverent nor unreasonable to admit that Mohammed was indeed an Apostle of God."
(Samuel P. Scott, History of the Moorish Empire in Europe (Philadelphia: J. B. Lippincott Company, 1904), 1:126-27.)

That is not what the Quran says. The Quran affirms that Jesus (PBUH) is the Messiah who will return on the day of resurrection, but it does not go into detail about him ruling for a thousand years or all the things Christians haggle over. For the record, the Book of Revelation in the Christian Bible is very clear that there will be a “wedding of the lamb,” which many people take to mean Jesus (PBUH) getting married during the end-times, since he is repeatedly referred to as “The Lamb of God” in the Bible.

but the jews rejected him and the non-jews accepted him, even though his message according to himself, was only for the jews and jews alone. As the jews had corrupted their religion, again as always.

Salam'alaykum to brother Han and wife.
It's so heartwarming that both of you were interested in learning about our most beloved prophet, Muhammad (pbuh). What you're learning and watching and react to so far from youtube videos about Muhammad (pbuh) is only just 5% or maybe 10% of the whole story of his life. You can't compare him with prophet Isa, prophet Musa, prophet Ibrahim or prophet Nuh, and as well as the other prophets. Muhammad is incomparable, matchless. We muslims have put him on the top of other human being. He is the first human being that we should follow (words, teaching and lifestyle) and then, our mother, our father, and the rest. He is the ultimate example of best human being ever lived. We love all the other prophets who came before, but we love prophet Muhammad (pbuh) even more. That's why when we recite syahada, his name will be and should be mentioned next, after Allah the almighty God. I suggest if you needed to learn more, you should read the history of Muhammad (pbuh) from valid books available and if you can, ask around from the expertise of the whole history of the prophet Muhammad s.a.w. . You should find and watch the documentary by BBC about Muhammad here on youtube, that feature Karen Armstrong among other historians, that has some good information on the prophet, it's a good documentary to start.
May Allah leads and guide you and your wife all the way to the truth.

Mahatma Gandhi’s Views on the Prophet Muhammad.
    Published in ‘Young India’ (1924):
‘I wanted to know the best of the life of one who holds today an undisputed sway over the hearts of millions of mankind… I became more than ever convinced that it was not the sword that won a place for Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the Prophet the scrupulous regard for pledges, his intense devotion to his friends and followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and in his own mission. These and not the sword carried everything before them and surmounted every obstacle. When I closed the second volume (of the Prophet’s biography), I was sorry there was not more for me to read of that great life’.

The Arabian Peninsula is one of the rare spots on the planet that no empire dared to occupy. It is true that it is a useless desert, but its location is unique on the map, linking the three continents of the world. The reason is that its men themselves are not accustomed to a leader who leads them. Every man sees himself as free, and no one has the right to lead him. If he were to obey anyone, it would be his father or grandfather out of respect and nothing else. This resulted in the development of civilizations around them, as they were based on cooperation under the leadership of a competent person, and the society of the Arabian Peninsula remained backward. The positive thing that distinguished the Bedouins of the Arabian Peninsula from others was their knightly morals and they were the most skilled with the sword due to their almost daily fighting, and the strongest will survive. The Prophet Muhammad is the first man in the history of the Arabian Peninsula who gathered all these fanatical Bedouins, broke their arrogance, and brought them under his leadership.
Can you imagine the transformation from people fighting over the simplest things so that no one would lead them, to people willing to die for the sake of someone who is not from their family, but they believed in him and wanted him to spread his message?!!
Peace and blessing be upon him 🇸🇦❤

I like your perspective Kelly! With the nun example. It makes sense that you'd argue that you can devote more of your life to God if you do not marry or have kids, etc. However, as a muslim myself, I will say in our faith, marriage is considered half of your religion. Half of your deen (faith) is completed when you marry. As human beings, God made marriage a sacred pact between two souls, and children are a blessing. We are supposed to enjoin in these blessings and sacred acts as worshippers/servants of God as appreciating the mercy and gift of love and family he gave us, not reject them to solely pursue God (unless they are like, evil or something). You even get rewarded for being kind to your parents and kind to your spouses and kind to your children.

This man’s intentions are not to compare the prophets good/bad, he is merely speaking of the author and HIS findings and his reasons for naming prophet Muhammad #1. I think it’s great to see non Muslims bring truth and light to this incredible religion and our blessed Prophets. Especially Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

That's why Prophet Muhammad number 1 on the list because he came as seal of the prophet and teach all aspect of human living and guide humanity what Prophet Jesus could not teach at the time, and fill prophecies said by Prophet Jesus in Bible (John 16:12-14) :
12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

    We respect all the prophets
It’s a condition in Islam to believe in all of them and not compare between them
Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him is the greatest because he’s the last prophet but also because he was ordered to spread the message to the whole world unlike the previous prophets that came with the message only to their people
Of course the prophets have different status because they went through different types of difficulties but only god gives these status
we are no one and have no right to compare between them we have to believe on them and love them all the same and to follow Muhammad peace be upon him because he was sent to us so by following him we have followed every prophet before him ❤
