Do Australian houses have fireplaces and heat systems like Canadian houses?
Yes they do, older bigger houses have fireplaces, newer house's use gas central heating. if someone fancies it they put fireplace n new houses too, gas ones..

1. You mentioned Porter Davis is most expensive builder...but I think they also went into liquidation right? So in today's times it's better to buy a readymade home rather than go for land&home package...what do you think?
2. at @12:16 you showed shared double vanity and bathroom....but why it doesn't have a door ??
Yes definately buy existing ones they are cheap and hassle free at the moment. Building is expensive.

Is 700k or 800k AUD price is including land or its just construction cost+upgrades? If that's the case, most house would be 1 million+, right???

I have lived in both countries. 23 years in Newzealand & 2 years in Australia. Newzealand is a beautiful country compared to Australia. Cost of living is very high in Newzealand especially house prices and petrol is very expensive in Newzealand. Whereas Australia has very affordable housing. Honestly, my opinion, I love Newzealand more than Australia. Also, Aussies are more nice compared to kiwis.
