Be careful if u take it off road! Toyota finally gave the taco enough torque to be useful but they forgot to upgrade the drive train! Transfer case seems to snap pretty easy.
As a 3rd gen owner, I am happy they addressed the issues and made the truck better. I hope all the 4th gen owners love their truck.

Congrats and good luck Jon! Love the color. I thought this was going to be my next truck but I ended up in a 24 Tundra TRD Pro and I could never image going back to a midsize. Glad to hear the engine doesn’t disappoint. I look forward to more videos. Enjoy the new ride!

At the dealership I work, all of our Toyota products come in around 40-55psi in the tires. That's just for shipping purposes. Normally if you went down the whole prep route they'd take the window sticker, stock tag, and other plastics out and then drop the tires to 35 psi* with a complementary detail.

Yup, dealership missed setting correct tire pressure on their PDI.
They don't have us do any of that during PDI or sold.

Love the idea of the car link kit. Very practical for my uses. Prefer the brighter colors for my trucks. Have a Solar Octane Pro and Electric Lime Sport. Looking forward to the upgraded dash.

Solar Octane > underground . Underground is better than the old gray metallic they got rid of, but still it's just an OK color.

You wanted the solar octane for the clicks, but your content is what keeps me clicking back. Congrats! I was able to test drive an SR and a TRD Sport this weekend. The suspension difference between them was very noticeable. Not a fan of the vision loss on the Sport with the hood scoop, so I’ll be getting the off road or the limited. Excited to see the next videos!
Congrats, brother. My one week with the TRD Sport blew me away. This new motor/trans combo is LEGIT... and I haven't even tried the iFORCE MAX yet.

I was bitching about that electric tailgate for a second then I remembered my wifes bmw x-5 has an electric tailgate also and it’s a 2013 that we have never had a problem with it!

Yeah that high PSI on the tires is for shipping from the factory, the dealer should have caught that in prep.

Congrats! Looking forward to your content. Picked my OR premium up on 2/16. Strangely enough my tires were at 42 psi. Each of them. Also had a 23 OR and gear hunting on the 3rd gen is definitely a thing. In the 4th gen, it is a thing of the past!

Congratulations on the truck! Looks fantastic! I've got a 2020 TRD sport w/ a manual transmission that I don't' think I could ever part ways with simply because of the manual and the turnkey nature of it, (I love the old school feel of that) but I do hope to have a 4th gen along side it at some point in the future. @TRDJon I was just messing with you. Toyota manual break-in for the first 600 miles states to stay at or under 55mph, don't maintain the same speed for periods of time, don't idle for long periods of time, no hard braking. These were in previous units of course. Today's 2024 vehicles might have different break-in times. Like mentioned, I wasn't being negative towards you 😉😎
Everybody keep exchanging your nearly new trucks for new trucks because the rest of us need good used trucks to buy. Levelling headlights, that feature is on my 15’ Tundra. Did I read the door sticker at 545 kg payload which includes people and payload? Long long time Toyota truck owner going back to the 83’ model, all have been awesome and only one was purchased new.
