I was a student of Elaine de Kooning, Willem's wife at Carnegie-Mellon U. They were both such amazing people.

This blows my mind. I just had to get breaks for my pick up 1550.00
And I’m back to being broke!
People really do have a lot of money. I would love to just have 5000 in the bank!!! Funny

I found these during quarantine and fell in love. I missed the live due to work. Glad I'm able to watch it. I'd never seen lot 1C before but it's the color scheme of my bedroom and I would love a print of it. Along with a print of lot 3A from the 21st Century auction 2 days ago would go great in my large bedroom I think. I know nothing about art or design so maybe they wouldn't or shouldn't go together but I just fell for them both.

In the study of this is lack of movement...The contrary applies off course , since , we get scared of building or sounds....the hand that moves the paint brush or pincel....

It's not because a painting has been in the same family for one hundred years that it is a 'fantastic' painting !!!

    How embarrassing.
I was placing a phone bid on a piece of abstract art, only to discover that the cameraman had zoomed in on a used table napkin.
    Oh well.

The collection Cox was of middle quality, and I am polite ; the bidings were largely much to high !!!
    It's just ridiculous !!!

This is just rich people pretending to know about Art and Artist creations. Art is only valuable if a certain artist name is signed so that they can say they have an original work of Art by famous artists. So basically they are buying a signature by famous artists what the artist has created on the canvas which is the art itself is not what your paying for it’s the name of the artist you’re paying for.

I think You are just too wrong: I do not care names so severely, I enjoy quality of pieces. Name and age mean much as well nevertheless.
E.g. Michelangelo and 16th century matter as well as Sistine Chapel.
