Im absolutely amazed that Harbour Freight has not come out with their own mini bike/go carts giving the wide variety of mods and add ons that can be done to their engines.
It still baffles me that a company hasn't figured out how to build a billet aluminum flywheel that has electric start capability and charging capability as well because if they did it would sell like hotcakes.
Hi im wondering if the vegas cart flywheel is any better than the stock one? in terms of revving to 4000 to 4500 ? my engine is a duro max 18 hp in stock form any idea ??? i see the aluminum aftermarket flywheel but no additional charging magnets and my only other option is to mount a small alternator mocked up somehow ? any ideas ??
I did exactly what you did but my key start has one black wire left and it doesn't turn off when I turn the key to turn it off any more 😢 where does this extra black wire go?
I have a UTV that is currently using a Honda 390 that I’m wanting some better performance out of but I want to keep the charging system. What would you recommend as the max amount of upgrades for max performance with the stock flywheel?
I don’t mind removing the governor and installing a RPM gauge to keep from over revving the stock flywheel. My question would be what would be the maximum safe RPM of the stock system 4000 RPM sound about right
Red Beard my question is how you convert a electric golf cart over to this type of engine are you going to do a golf cart electric swap over to this type of engine with the charging system😊
It will need a full rewire as most electric golf carts are 36vdc or higher (standard is usually 48vdc) you will need to convert all electric systems to 12vdc on the golf Cart... Good news the wiring gets much simpler as 12vdc circuits in the gas golf cart would need fewer components (ignition switch and kill switch relocated are the main 2 connections... Everything else is periferals)
@@abels_04 I would need a whole roof over the boat in panels to get 20 amps of charge, I run through trees to much for that. And alot of my fishing is done at night when it's cooler.
This is absolutely too expensive. The tiny 40 amp alternator is well under $50⁰⁰. Just belt or direct drive one of those. Really, $150⁰⁰ for only 18 amps¿!?¡?!¿!!!😢😮🤔🥺

they kinda have a go kart for the ghost

for realll dude they are probably trying to make one now
May God continue to bless RBG!
RBG Commercials are always informative.
Did the washer work to hold back the wire from the fly wheel?
Will this also work on 440 duromax engines?
Good video and thanks for showing me something else I need.
Do you have any plans to dyno a stock 420 vs the wildcat 460?

So with the 440cc what battery is the best to use the electric start and stuff godbless this is ammaaazing

good video. where did you mount the regulator?
Is there a charging system anywhere that allows for high revving 420s?
So no grinding paste to bed the tapered shaft ? It's what you usually do for flywheel fitting
Was just thinking the same thing

Would this fit on a predator 459cc?
Curious about this too
@@zachwood628 I don't think it will work for the 459cc, but I just got a 20 amp alternator that I will be connecting to my rig
Would this work on a pull start only China 420 motor?
how many rpm is safe when running one of those charge flywheels?
Would this fit on a Honda gx390?
Works on a duro 440?
I bought this bike with a 224 and it had no governor and the parts was all stock will I be okay If I ride like that

Try hooking the red wire to the red battery terminal and the black wire to the black terminal...

Can this be used on the 459cc predator?
I have the same idea!
This is a nice mod for $150
Dang, i need it for my mud motor but no gov obviously... Guess im back to small alt thinkin.
Run a small solar panel
