Uno de los temas mas hermosos de la historia de la humanidad. Admiración por la mujer que lo inspiró a Strauss para componer tamaña obra!!!!!!
No se si lo inspiro alguna mujer, pero si no hubiera sido por la madre no estariamos escuchando esta maravilla. El padre no queria que fuera musico y le rompio el violin la madre le pagaba las clases de musica a escondidas.

The CanCan of Offenbach is as famous as the Blue Danube of Johann Strauss. If presented in the same session, most probably the CanCan would attract more attention. The Blue Danube requires a calm and receptive state of mind to enjoy every note, Offenbach Cancan is called "Infernal Gallop" haha! it just cannot be played before the Blue Danube without disarraying the audience attention required to enjoy the Strauss piece of art.
The American offers Strauss $100,000 dollars for a tour of the US. That amount in 1867 (the year of the waltz's premiere) is equivalent to over $2 million in 2022. He'd be foolish to pass on the deal.

No creo que haya sucedido así. Pero si en vez del Can Can hubiera mostrado la Opera Barcarolle -Les Contes d'Hoffmann de offenbach. La presentación de Staruss pasaría desapercibido.

Solo el andante del concierto 21 de Mozart puede ser más bello y sublime
El Bello Danubio es una pieza de 10 min. La opera de Offenbach dura 2h30 min. No es comparable! Dos cosas totalmente diferente. Una sinfonia de Mozart no puedes compararla tampoco con una opera de Wagner.
