INSANE PERCH FISHING With LURES! 2 Huge PB'S! Ft Thom Hunt

- Back towards the end of December I headed out with Thom Hunt to try target some BIG reservoir perch! We expected the fishing to be incredibly tough with water temperature around 3 degrees but it turned out the perch were on FIRE!

Some cracking fish lads … fish of dreams … many people wondering where this place is…. Very rarely would anyone give out this information as you would expect but this who know will know… if you know what I mean…. I ain’t got a clue bout sometimes it’s better to wonder and dream !!! That’s all I do 🤣🤣….. still waiting for my first 3lb’er 🎣👍

What a great session they had with some superb fish, absolutely fantastic.
Weather wasn't too kind to them somewhat windswept to say the least.
Would I like a day out with these two guys 🤔 you can bet y'a bottom dollar i would.
I haven't seen Perch of that size since god knows when.
I can remember a good while back, there was some sort decease depleting the stocks and the number of fish was seriously depleted.
If this is the result of a major bounce back over a long period that's just fantastic.

Never had the benefit of a fish finder..... what a difference it makes yet ... seems to kill off some of the mystery and excitement of fishing for me. I feel a bit cheated! :) ;)

It's like as if a smallmouth bass and a common carp had a babies my god
My best session on there is 11 perch, a Zander and a brown in a day on the fly couldn't find a pike for the grand slam unfortunately
