My heart breaks for him. The part where his "friend" admits he never called him while in the psych ward but Connor was the one reaching out. They mined him for online content without helping him This video didn't address his fake friends enough for me
This is honestly sad and scary to see his mental state decline so rapidly. I’m glad that he got the help that he needed and his fans are congratulating him on changing, it’s a huge step in the right direction
It can go real fast and happen to anyone at any time, it's a combination of near infinite factors from life experiences to your environment, small things we often dismiss as non consequential that slowly accumulate until they overwhelm you. I for one was perfectly fine in January 2017 but started to have suicidal thoughts for seemingly no reason in April of the same year, went to see a psychiatrist in June and sent to a mental institution in October. I was diagnosed with clinical depression with self harm tendencies, I'm still taking meds and seeing my psychiatrist to this day, trying to live in a normal life and all you know.
@@Merthalophor He said "I called him every few days". The reason to correct it is if it's inaccurate. It doesn't necessarily mean anything beyond him misspeaking and correcting it.
A lot of people don't realize that serious mental health issues can suddenly trigger in your early 20s even after a childhood of no noticeable symptoms. This poor guy had to have it documented online forever...
Drugs play a huge role. If you have family history with mental illnesses especially with psychosis stay away from weed, psychedelics & drugs. You are vulnerable & it can be just be what tips you over. Seen this alot when I was working in a ER as a RN. I hate how I regularly see shrooms being promoted on Insta & Tiktok as tools for enlightenment while for some ppl it can change the chemistry of their brains forever.
@@mentos93 My bestfri3nd was in her 4th year studying to be a doctor she smoked weed to help her relax & it triggered a ful metal break. We will never know if it was maybe laced with something. She never had any signs but her moms brother was schizo. She is still in & out of mental hospitals & now not able to look after herself.
Yes, some mental disorders almost always present during that stage - such as schizophrenia. I know of someone who was completely "normal" up until about age 21. After that point, he was never the same - seemingly for absolutely no reason at all. He was eventually diagnosed with schizophrenia. Now, at nearly 50, he is a stereotypical homeless man who talks to himself while standing outside of a Dollar General. He's never been compliant with meds, so no one can help him for any extended period.
What’s truly sad about this is how people that called themselves his “friends” took advantage of his severe mental health crisis pretending to help just to secretly film him, berate him, and use his downfall for content. What a fake world that content creation is, people idolize that job, id never want it.
Same as Tim (Avicii), He's friends & manager didn't care for him at all and was only after the money & "internet fame". It's so sad people can this, mindblowing but people do everything for little internet cloud/fame.
I thought the same damn thing! 🤬Like who tf claims to "care" about someone and to be their "friend" but films it and puts them on blast for the entire world to see then fake cries on camera.. stfu 🤦🏻♀️
i think people want to just sitt and game and get money for it that type of content stuff but don't realize how much stress having people watching your every move is
Didn’t follow the drama? Not on the internet much? Don’t worry, in around 15 minutes you’ll be caught up. This is a rare talent. He can make a 15 minute video feel like a full, comprehensive documentary and it’s awesome!
Psychedelics are known to exacerbate schizophrenia in those that are susceptible to it or have family history. It seems he may have experienced this but eventually found a way to manage it. I didn't even know you could consume ayahuasca that often and still get effects. That's insane.
Glad I wasn’t the only one that felt weird that his “friends” were making videos about him. No caring person will record their friend in a manic episode and post it online for millions to see! I’d be embarrassed if my friends did that shit to me…
It’s really sickening that his “friends” recorded his apartment as he was breaking down and losing grip. It’s amazing to see he’s doing better and I wish nothing but the best for him.
This video is sensationalist garbage. Conor was never really insane. He talked at length about spirituality, nondualism, about metaphysics. He debated people, including Vegan Gains, Cosmic Skeptic, Matt Dillahunty and others. He was articulate in his beliefs. He called himself God from a pantheist perspective, but according to that everyone is God. This video conveniently does not show the substance of his beliefs. He was unhinged, but he kept tabs on reality. His unhinged nature is hard to understand for normies. Thank you! I used to watch this guy. Scary the direction that he went... Good to hear he didn't harm anyone. All these fake friends are disgusting narcissists doing anything for a view.
2 things that didn't get mentioned nearly as much as needed: - his "friends" basically milked him at his worst and admitted they didn't even try to help him, as shown with the guy who didn't call him once in the psych ward, and the other 2 who just saw him have a psychotic episode and told him they would go back, just to never actually do it - the fact that this man posted his address online, and quickly someone called for help for him just shows how much he was apreciated by his community

The psych wards I know of are basically outgoing calls only so that’s not weird. Plus we don’t know the full story, I’ve had friends have psychotic breaks and like at a certain point you just have to separate yourself from them. There’s nothing you can do and being together is potentially dangerous or incredibly draining at best. This guy was just calling his friend all the time to tell him he’s god and how enlightened he was, like how would you react in that situation. You have no idea how frustrating it can all be for the outsiders too unless you’ve been in it. I just had to separate myself until they were better because they thought I was in the FBI and after you spend hours trying to explain how you’re not it gets rough
@@jonescrusher1 I agree with you, Friend in need is friend indeed. At least you can meet his/her parents to explain the situation and go to a psychologist with him if you genuinely care about that person. But practically speaking, Mental instability is not a fever that's gonna disappear next day , it's gonna take years so you have to be patient + pt lose their social reputation and status so they become less beneficial (it's hard to get job, partner for pt) + if you respond once they approch you again without caring about time or place + they are unpredictable(they may do wrist cuts , may attack you ) so you always have to be careful about how you talk to them. In short, they require high maintenance so it is obvious that they are left alone to suffer if they don't have family or very close friends.
‘you’re a lot smaller than me’ he was always jealous and always wanted to say that. but idgaf about this connor guy because he was using minors and exploiting them, probably abused some. disgusting

No one was trying to do any of that Jane conquest was not a “friend”she was practically a random bystander he hired for a prank video online when they met in person she realized his mental state and got him a mental health professional the only reason she made a video was because Connor had a picture with her in it claiming they were getting married and misinformed people on social media started attacking her calling her a whore and a gold digger so she had to make a video addressing the real situation and the two guys that he was calling about the world wide zoom call was just a couple of fans that he invited over to help clean his house for a couple days and then left when he started to threaten to kill them nor was Derek from more plates more dates it’s a mens health and fitness channel he’s never met him personally he makes a lot of reaction vids Connor gave him some content for a couple days that’s all. Patrick lyons and Brett maverick had nothing but love for connor in there videos but after he posted videos about being god and killing himself to achieve enlightenment they where basically trying to put out the fires connor made for his sake. My point being this is a very complicated situation and you can’t fully grasp it in 17 mins but by no means is his friends using him for clout that’s a completely misinformed assumption.
Connor went from being people's inspiration for their fitness journey, to being a divine protein shake connoisseur. It's kinda sad to see someone fall off so quickly.

As someone who is also mentally unstable, this is when you discover who your real friends are, cause after a mental break down you become useless and usually a burden to people to loved ones, and if they can't get anything from you they just ghost you.
That clip where he's calling his friend while clearly experiencing a psychotic episode and asking them to come over, then they hang up and go "OH MY GOD" with the caption "we didn't go back" is honestly really sad. What the fuck kind of friends are these?

Having dealt with something like this online where someone was leveraging suicide over me, I can get their point of view. If you are not equipped to deal with a manic episode like this, it's highly uncomfortable, especially if you have no clue what to do and fear you might be making it worse. What they should have done though is get in contact with someone to help with the situation, but not everyone is easily equipped to just "go back"
I've been through a manic episode and ended up in a psych ward before and it does feel as though you are trapped to being just a viewer as your cognitive function deteriorates; nothing makes sense & you cant think straight, and all the while you're questioning every little detail. Glad to see another victim of this make a recovery
His mental decline is crazy, but the way his "friends" blast it on social media for the world to see is even more crazy to me. Then again, he was also doing it himself. Idk, personally I'd get help for him behind closed doors.
Yah that one guy who was like “I’d call Connor everyday, or rather he would call me…” and granted idk if ur allowed to visit people at a psych ward like a hospital but like you couldn’t even call your friend to check on him?? He had to call you? Thats one lame sorry ass excuse for a friend. Connor really needed some real friends. Seems like everyone was just using him for clout and it’s sad.
He was mentally ill at the time so him putting it online isn't strange and kind of out of is control. It's so weird for his friends to just put even more stuff online about his mental breakdown.... His friends used his mental issues for clout...
That defeated look of his mother, sitting there...she knows there's no point trying to argue. Sadly I reached that point with someone I cared about, where psychosis overcame them. It's tragic, for everyone.
Don’t give up on that person - my BFF recovered from psychosis after treatment at mental clinics. Took some time, but she now excels in whatever she puts her focus to. Much stronger than me mentally too.
Obviously a person cannot be forced to stick with treatment. But I work at a psychiatric hospital, mostly on the highest acuity units (that treat people suffering from severe psychosis), and I cannot count how many times I have seen people be admitted in the state he's in, often much worse, and within 10 days of proper medication management they, for lack of a better way of putting it, totally return to reality. They'll still have some symptoms. But those delusions and hallucinations can absolutely be controlled with the proper medications, but ONLY if they're monitored by a qualified and experienced psychiatrist and only if the person takes their medication as prescribed.
It was sad to see a few of his friends abandon/mock him once he started struggling with his mental health. Really glad to see him doing better now, but man... really lets you know how quickly people can turn their backs to you.
Not only did they leave him, their videos seemed to be laughing at him/mocking him a bit, just them laughing and going "woahhh crazy" at his mental decline is just cruel and sad. This is why mental health/illness needs to be taken very seriously by people as a whole, especially for men.
Bro them just holding their phones at him while he was having a breakdown was so sad. That's even more insane in and of itself actually. If I were his friend, I'd be so devastated and distraught I wouldn't even THINK of pulling my phone out. I'd just stand there and it'd haunt my train of thought for a good while. I just commented above regarding this. Ayahuasca is a life changing experience, and it should be done very sparingly. Many people do it once and that's enough to experience what they need. My neighbor, who I grew up with, started taking LSD in high school. He got up to 5 hits a day, and he went clinically insane after a year. He spent almost a month at CMH. Afterwards his mom sold their house and he moved to Arizona. I lost contact with him after that, so I have no idea how he fared in life. He showed absolutely no indication of insanity beforehand, and I actually thought he had his s**t together. Well a year of dropping 5 hits of acid a day will take a toll on anyone.

When he was at his worst though I have no idea what the cadence was. I assure you though, he did not start at 5 hits. The people who filmed his house and him while he was having a breakdown are everything wrong with this world. No empathy. What the actual fuck. That was heartbreaking
Agree, that was gross of them. That stuff should not really be for public consumption. I gotta ask though, have you actually had a friend go through a mental breakdown like that? One of my childhood friends was diagnosed as schizophrenic in our late teens. The unfortunate reality is that sometimes there's just nothing meaningful you can do to help. At the start we gave it out all, bought him a bike for transportation, housed and fed him whenever he needed etc. Encouraging him to find work and stay on meds. He required us to do ALL of it. He lost the job after 2 weeks for stealing $15 a few times, then got pissed at us for telling him he needs to stop doing that kind of stuff. Ended up getting kind of aggressive and with my younger siblings it just wasn't cool to have around the house. We kept the garage open with a futon and stuff if he ever needed it but he was no longer welcome inside. Once he was out on his own he got hooked on meth, showed up high as fuck, smoked in the garage a bunch, vandalized stuff with legit Schizo drawings. Just sad seeing a friend go through it. Keep in mind this was not linear decline either, peaks and valleys galore where I thought he was going to recover countless times, and within a month he was back in the garage incoherently mumbling to himself. Anyways my point is no matter how much love you give the mental illness will trump it all. It fucking sucks, but it's the truth. Unless you're a qualified psychologist you may as well be speaking two different languages. And if you do end up trying, it's a full time commitment. You can't take proper care of yourself, work full-time, and take good care of your sick best friend. The best way you can help them effectively is by leading them to the proper means of help, just hope your areas social support system isn't a nightmare.
Mental Health/Fortitude should be worked on as seriously as your body. I remember watching him back in high school, thinking he was this perfect guy who has this perfect body and can get all the girls he wants. This was very humbling to watch, I’m glad he is doing better ❤️

This breaks my heart. I have been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and bipolar disorder. At time where I have been manic I was convinced that I was a “node” of the universe and that I was able to see both dimensions of the universe while not existing in either, but the middle ground. I told my dad that I was so powerful because no one existed in the middle ground but me so I am able to tell when the rapture will happen and I can save people but I won’t be affected because I am in another dimension. I didn’t directly say that I was god or Jesus but what I was describing was similar to that. I’m also a college student, and about a month ago during a manic episode I told my professor that I didn’t have to do my assignments or graduate because I had a million dollar idea and was going to be rich anyways. I was so convinced that I wrote up a whole business idea and called my dad telling him it would save our family. Then when I got put back on another stronger antipsychotic I realized my idea was SO flawed. The fact that his “friends” were exploiting him and making fun of them makes me want to scream because it describes everything that is wrong with this society and it makes me realize that a lot of the world is going to think of me the same way as these “friends” thought of him😔
Honestly the most terrifying part of this story its how so many people failed to help him, they didnt care, they didnt help with the attention…they saw him go downhill and their best idea was to record pretty much everything.
I think the people around him cared. Their sentiment seemed sincere. I get mildly manic myself, and my family members can't really do much for me when I get manic.
Never heard of another case where someone doxxing themselves actually worked in their interest but this guy posting his address online & enabling people to direct emergency services to him and get him into psychiatric care as a result may genuinely have saved his life!
They didn't "direct him" though. They kidnapped him. Big difference. While he definitely need the help, without the voluntary element, we risk falling into a police state where any detractor of a group or system can be labeled as "insane". This is already happening through federal directives and through some states active participation. It is unsurprising this incident occurred in LA.
@@iruleatgames I understand what you're saying but people in the middle of a genuine psychotic break are literally physically unable to think coherently and rationally. My dog is more capable of understanding and consenting to medical care than people in that state are. I worry about things along those lines too. Abuses have happened in the past and, no doubt, will happen in the future. That being said, reality is sometimes messy and there is no perfect solution. If you find an unconscious man bleeding out from a leg injury on the side of the road, do you apply a tourniquet even though he is physically unable to consent? I'm pretty sure the vast majority of people would say yes. It only gets into a morally grey area if he wakes up and decides to take it off. Is it ok to force him to keep it on if he believes it's an anaconda trying to consume his purple? I guess there's a personal call to make there, but for my money, I would say yeah, it stays on.
He took various hallucinogens and had the basic realizations everyone gets: "The universe and everything in it is one, you are God and God is us, etc." And those realizations are correct. nothing he said was wrong. However, not everyone can handle those kind of realizations and it can tear your mind apart. unfortunately he started ranting about it in public and the sheeple hospitalized him.

Yup, doing mass amounts of psychs can mess up anyone's mind. I did DMT for about 3 months straight and ended up in a specialised hospital ward. It took me at least 4 years to get back to my normal self.
I really don't believe he took Ayahuasca per se but DMT. Pure DMT, which is smoked and has an effect that doesn't last long, like 15-30 minutes. Ayahuasca is a mix of 2 plants, one containing DMT and the other an MAOI inhibitor (its a vine plant), which after ingesting a long brewed mix has an effect that last up to 4-6 hours and is more personal and encountering kinda the same "presence"(Aya), while smoked DMT is kinda random entities. Also for Ayahuasca you need specific jungle plants and knowledge how to brew it and also the ritual is done in a jungle with a hopefully experienced guiding shaman.

This is legitimately one of my worst fears, ending up in a place where I can’t tell fact from fiction. On the outside, where’re left dumbfounded by his crazy, psychotic god complex, but I can’t imagine what it feels like to be in his shoes, believing that you’re the one who is enlightened about something and that everyone else isn’t.
I was there before from to much drugs, I can't describe the hell it is, there's a voice in your head 24/7 and your fighting it, it was very hard to win
I had a bad trip on something I smoked one day and it happened to me in my shower while I was all alone. I never smoke again but sometimes I feel those thoughts coming back inside my head and it’s a scary thing.
Interesting how all of his "friends" released videos of themselves talking about his mental health and filming things about him for content instead of just talking to him and being concerned.
you're only seeing the people who did post about it online though. the thing is, other friends who dont do that, and are just concerned with him, you wouldnt see so you feel like they arent there
I've met so many people that think psychedelics are the answer to everything. That it "kills your ego" and makes you a better person. And ad years go on I look back to check up on these people, and they are in a constant downward spiral, this reminds me of so many people
Most of the time people who do drugs more than once in a blue moon have something going on inside that they can't cope with. I stayed away from most psychedelics, have done shrooms, but I knew my brain couldn't handle it. If your in a bad head space your going to have a bad trip. Sure you might learn one of two things but it's not solving anything. People who drink alot same thing. They're upset at heart about something. I'd say now most stoners that blaze all the time are still finding something to numb out what's bothering them. Only way to fix it is to stay clean, eat good, exercise, have a good you can enjoy and some therapy. I've done all that and it helps way more then any drugs can do.
They can be extremely helpful and beneficial if you have done some inner work prior to taking them. they are simply tools, it's not the fix all ppl expect it to be. Combined with therapy, meditation and other forms of mindfulness, it can absolutely change your life in the best way possible, but we know people don't use these tools proactively 🤦🏼♀️ it's like giving a chainsaw to a 5 year old

As someone with schizophrenia myself, I feel for this poor man. I went through a delusion for close to a year and a half where I thought I was the Doctor from "Doctor Who". Schizophrenia is a very real and serious illness. This poor guy suffers from it worse than I do. I was fortunate enough to be diagnosed early on and get medicated fairly quickly. It still sucks to have and it makes my life a real struggle, but I'm thankful that it isn't as bad as it could be. I hope Connor gets better soon 🙏

This whole ordeal really hit home for me man. In 2017-2018 after I had graduated high-school, I started getting into psychedelics. At first it was once here, or there, doing magic mushrooms with some friends, but after having an experience I thought was "profound" I began to firmly believe that psychedelic drugs could unlock parts of our brain that have been locked away, and I, myself could achieve enlightenment, and become a better person. Next thing I knew, I was buying DMT and LSD on the deep web, and having trips all the time. After each trip it was like a small piece of my brain had been replaced with a fresh, new piece of brain, like switching out colored lego blocks if that makes sense. Probably not.. But anyways.. I decided to purchase a sheet of 200 acid tabs online, and they were double dipped (AKA double the regular potency) and one night I ended up consuming between 5-8 of these tabs all at once (I dont personally remember how much, this is based off of what my friends recall from that moment) .. but that night is what broke me. I had become obsessed with connecting everything in life, so I had this large text document on my computer I would spend hours typing into, shit like.. CAT= 4 LEGS = DOG = ANIMAL = LIVING = HUMAN = BLOOD = LIFE = GOD = ETC. I drew these big large scientific looking venn diagrams to try and convey my messages, wrote on the walls, and at one point I even dumped all of the exercise supplements, alcohol and vitamins I had down the sink because I thought the fucking sink was connected to my body, and if I cleaned out the pipes, it would make me feel better.. I ended up staying awake for 4 or 5 days straight, and nomatter what I did I could not stop these intense thoughts from rushing through my head like an endless current. It was like I had unlocked every secret to the universe, and everyone was blind to it but me. I felt as though life was just one big mathmatical equation, that I had cracked, and I needed to explain to everyone what I had seen. The only problem was, that I had SEVERE DRUG INDUCED PSYCHOSIS, & my thoughts were complete nonsense and couldnt have been explained to any sane person. I ended up getting fired from my job, spent a few months in a psych ward, basically perpetually paranoid and in an endless state of fight or flight, thinking everyone wanted to kill me. After I had gotten out of the mental hospital, unable to properly care for myself, or work, I started living with my grandparents. It took me about 1, maybe 2 years to start feeling somewhat normal again. To this day, large parts of my memory are blank, and my memory in general isnt as good as it used to be. But at the same time, if not for this event happening, I would probably still be doing drugs all the time, working a shit job, and getting nowhere in life. Not only that, I never would have realised how incredibly loving and supportive my family is, and what a great safety net I am so lucky to have. Right now, I'm the most successful i've ever been in life so far, and I'd like to think it was because of that experience. TLDR: The only life changing epiphany drugs gave me was that doing drugs was a terrible idea.

When he said: "I achieved, fame girls and money and that made me depressed" i instantly connected with that. I never had fame ofc, but after 10 years of struggling to improve my life, getting a decent profession, climbing up the career ladder, achieving financial stability and starting to have more success with girls i felt very empty and depressed. It took me another 3 years to realize that we are all different and what most of the people consider success its not necessary what success is to you personally. Success is finding what makes you happy and doing more of that rather than forcing yourself to chase what society thinks success is and value yourself based on other criteria of happiness and success. once i accepted that i was able to reach out for help and started improving a lot. To anyone having the same struggles please stop whatever you are doing and reach out for help. I live in a town where pretty much everyone under the age of 30 uses psychedelics and I’ve definitely seen a lot of people go through the same thing he did. It’s fixable by getting sober and grounding yourself but it can definitely fuck u up. Don’t take drugs if your heads not in the right place
I feel bad for the kid. He poured his heart out and his "friends", these DoucheTubers, just air out his dirty laundry for views. Get some help, keep it private and stop looking for someone you can easily exploit. Disgusting people.
Was just about to say! his “friends” were exploiting this horrible mental breakdown for content.. you can tell they were slightly amused when retelling the story. very disingenuous.
Him saying 'I used to be so happy as a kid'... That hit me way harder in the gut then it should have... I relate so much, I remember being so happy being a young child, but I just feel like as I get older I get more and more depressed. This had no reason to hit me so hard.
Delete social media and watch how much more of your life you gain back that is being stolen from you by big tech companies. You think those drugs fucked Connor up? Nah it was social media
Not only are his "friends" exploitating his breakdown for views, but they are also constantly smiling and laughing when talking about situations as if it's something to laugh laugh about . I found this video hard to watch, Well done Sunnyv2 for raising some awareness, helped change many people's perspectives on people having a rough time .
A person just does not change I am sure his friends put him in his food / drink psychiatric drugs and this is what made him go crazy, unfortunately from a psychiatric hospital he will no longer return to normal because there even more destroy the person so there is no such thing friends! A person should be selfish and keep himself from "friends" friends it's all interests
While it disgusted me that they exploited him for views, smiling and laughing while witnessing or recounting something devastating is actually pretty normal. Many people laugh or smile when they're uncomfortable. Especially if that's what the people around you are doing. Doesn't excuse them exploiting his mental state for views, though.
One of my friends had severe psychotic episodes in the past, and I can't imagine even considering filming him in that state. It's exploitative and cruel. Really sad to see his descent into madness. I hope he's alright now.
The whole issue about mania is that it *doesn’t feel negative*. I have a feeling he wasn’t “addicted” to psychedelics, but that his use of them triggered a vulnerability toward psychosis and possibly bipolar type 1. I’m bipolar type 2, and my partner is type 1, and I can assure you that he certainly thought he was god too.
My aunt has bipolar and the religiosity is very similar to what happened to her before her diagnosis. Especially staying up for 6 days writing a book on happiness for his family. Sometimes people choose psychedelics to try and deal with something they’re already struggling with. I agree with you, that genetic susceptibility esp for males under 25; can accelerate the behaviours that may already have been ready to come out.
He will never be back to normal in this insane world. His reality will never be the same. He can wear a mask to cope with his life but deep down he knows its all a lie.
@@MortSociety Thats a ridiculous assumption based on some notion that there's any problem with there being a difference between him before and after. Trying to paint this experience as "bad" is pretty mindblowingly naive.

As my dad said. Some eggs were made crack. And boil. Poor bastard

Man that part was messed up! I thought I was the only one who caught that, he said it so normal too, you can tell that’s not a friend at all.
There’s privacy laws in psych wards that prevent someone calling in without the patients permission. That could’ve been the situation
@@ScourgeGhost13 no reason to correct the statement "we called every day"

Drugs play a huge role. If you have family history with mental illnesses especially with psychosis stay away from weed, psychedelics & drugs. You are vulnerable & it can be just be what tips you over. Seen this alot when I was working in a ER as a RN.

The psych wards I know of are basically outgoing calls only so that’s not weird. There’s nothing you can do and being together is potentially dangerous or incredibly draining at best. This guy was just calling his friend all the time to tell him he’s god and how enlightened he was, like how would you react in that situation. I just had to separate myself until they were better because they thought I was in the FBI and after you spend hours trying to explain how you’re not it gets rough

But practically speaking,
Mental instability is not a fever that's gonna disappear next day , it's gonna take years so you have to be patient + pt lose their social reputation and status so they become less beneficial (it's hard to get job, partner for pt) + if you respond once they approch you again without caring about time or place + they are unpredictable(they may do wrist cuts , may attack you ) so you always have to be careful about how you talk to them.
In short, they require high maintenance so it is obvious that they are left alone to suffer if they don't have family or very close friends.

100% ayahuasca abuse-induced psychoses.
@@BitwiseMobile after your first 5 doses of lsd wouldn't hit you the same as it did in your first.. your body quickly builds a tolerance to lsd so after the 4th day of taking lsd he'd feel little to nothing by that time..

When he was at his worst though I have no idea what the cadence was. I assure you though, he did not start at 5 hits. The people who filmed his house and him while he was having a breakdown are everything wrong with this world. No empathy. What the actual fuck. That was heartbreaking
Honest to fuck :(
Agree, that was gross of them.
@@ItsDdvdd I have had several friends and family actually. And I would never put their suffering online

You are not the circus, you are the entire comedic industry. To anyone who read this entire post who isn't you, thank you. Lol bye
I agree :(
This breaks my heart.
Like people filming traffic accidents instead of helping or getting out of the way. 🙄
I think the people around him cared. Their sentiment seemed sincere. I get mildly manic myself, and my family members can't really do much for me when I get manic.

Drug induced psychosis needs to be waaaay more widely discussed
He took various hallucinogens and had the basic realizations everyone gets: "The universe and everything in it is one, you are God and God is us, etc." And those realizations are correct. nothing he said was wrong. However, not everyone can handle those kind of realizations and it can tear your mind apart. unfortunately he started ranting about it in public and the sheeple hospitalized him.
100%.
The problem is that the public healthy system can cause just as much trauma as it can treating people.

Maybe he was smoking dmt every few hours, which is possible since you only be out for a few minutes, but still there was probably other drugs involved.
Taking Ayahuasca every 2 hours is wild!!! No wonder he started acting schizophrenic! That stuff is unbelievably strong. Taking it only once can completely change your entire personality. There are lots of stories about this psychedelic online.

They can be extremely helpful and beneficial if you have done some inner work prior to taking them. they are simply tools, it's not the fix all ppl expect it to be. i hope everybody like this gets help, they could be a danger to themselves and others.
It was all an act lmao you fell for it
This whole ordeal really hit home for me man.
I’m glad you got out of that pit, I’m glad you’re successful and I hope Connor gets better

The whole issue about mania is that it *doesn’t feel negative*. I have a feeling he wasn’t “addicted” to psychedelics, but that his use of them triggered a vulnerability toward psychosis and possibly bipolar type 1. My aunt has bipolar and the religiosity is very similar to what happened to her before her diagnosis. Especially staying up for 6 days writing a book on happiness for his family. Sometimes people choose psychedelics to try and deal with something they’re already struggling with.
