Splendid! (I like the commentary as much as the painting)
Thanks once again Jerry...
Works with acrylics also....made my last painting a lot easier to finish using this technique!
Yes, in this DVD Jerry is painting with oil. You can get the same effect with acrylics.
thanks Jerry - needed that lesson - watched (20) landscape colours and found that great as well - any more of those lessons would be wonderful -
Many thanks for your inspirational tutorial.

Enjoyed comma stroke jerry yarnell
C’est un très joli tableau ! Les couleurs sont magnifiques !
You can also use flat sable brushes, but it is preferred to use a flat bristle brush for this technique.
Thanks, I wasn't too sure and knew I wasn't getting the results I needed... :)

Beautiful and thanks for to learn
This technique seems like it would be ideal for falling and fallen leaves, which I've always wondered how to do.
hi good yo have you back
Wish saw whole picture as he started
Would you do the same technique for some leaves on the ground around the trees, too ?
Beautiful painting. Is oil s/canvas? Brasil, RJ.

Is this done with oil or acrylic? And if it is oil , will the comma stroke still work this well in acrylic?
Is he using a filbert brush?
