Jessica, seeing you hold Rupert made me weirdly proud of you... I can't believe you're actually able to hold him even with him wiggling around in your arms, your strength training is definitely paying off! 😍😁
"I've either broken it or solved it... to be concluded" definitely needs to be a new quote on your merch. I think many of us can find it infinitely relatable.
@@KR-kj9oi They passed though. I see drivers break rules all the time (cutting when not supposed to, not using their signals). At this point passing the driving test seems like a formality. It doesn't really show you how conscientious a driver they'll be.
You’ve done the best thing possible for little Roo! Now that you have established the sleeping patterns that work for your family in your own home, going to spend time in a new space is helping to create generalizations of his skills, and the ability to practice your life skills in other spaces and situations. Of course it worked, because he has the most thoughtful mothers ever!!! Happy holidays holiday lovelies! 😻😇🕊
For anyone wondering it was the knights who say ni that wanted a shrubbery, a nice one not to expensive Edit: Rupert has the cutest little socks I think my heart just grew 3 sizes
i really respect you for finding a balance between documenting your parenting life and yet don’t show ruperts face everywhere, therefore leaving this choice to post his face online up to himself when he’s older! respectful and exactly how it should be 😊💕 also this video was adorable 🥺💕
You guys should add a diffuser to the routine, it blesses curly heads along with whatever curly products work for you. It may be a bit time consuming but I deff recommend trying! I’d love to see
Did you know there are Choose Your Own Adventure board books for babies? We recently found one at the library and chose the story route that Baby poked at. It was fun to relive that and share it with baby!
I just love how you think a 2 1/2 hour drive is a long drive. We spend easily up to 10 hours per day driving on long hauls here in Australia. We do a 2 1/2 hour drive to visit our daughter and grandchildren each way for a day trip. 🤷♀️
A little curly-haired suggestion. Wash, and dry your hair. It will be straight, but then take a bottle of water, mixed with a splodge of conditioner, and spritz it onto dry hair. Then run your fingers through it. The water encourages the curls to reappear, but the conditioner will stop frizz.
What a fun holiday! The fact that a baby made it through the night during a holiday with only one wake-up ONE of the nights is still an immense victory in my eyes. What a lovely trip scrapbook ✨
I know how you feel about difficulties of having special needs. I’m allergic to lots of foods and I literally eased my husband into the list of allergies I had throughout the course of dating. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way I was allergic to down feathers. I bought a very nice expensive down feather blanket and kept being sick and I couldn’t figure out why. My mom visits me one day and says “btw your grandmother is allergic to feathers maybe you are too.” 🤦🏻♀️ Would’ve saved me a lot of money and months worth of sickness and confusion. Lol
Claudia is right, to keep it wavy with a blow dryer you'd need to use a diffuser! Blowouts are in fact often used to straighten hair; if you're brushing it or pulling it straight out from your head while you apply heat, the heat will set it in that straightened out position, just like using a flat iron or curling wand uses heat to set it in a position.
I'm not British but my family used to drive through Britain every year for holidays from Ireland to France to get the ferry on both ends and I agree that is a very nice looking service station, though not the only one with lovely outdoor eating area surrounded by trees. To be fair, I may be getting confused with ones in France.
The best looking service area I've been to recently is the M5 Northbound services at Gloucester, however even by service station prices the food was too expensive!
Claudia can follow the curly girl method. Use shampoos and conditioners with no sulfates and no silicones. DONT rub your hair when drying with a towel. Use a very smooth material towel or an old t shirt for drying hair, don't rub, just squeeze gently and leave it to dry in the towel. Minimize heat tools (including blow driers), and most importantly, never brush your hair after washing. If you have to brush do it before you wash your hair. But best case is to just use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to detangle your hair gently when in the shower !
Ahhh Bath! BEAUTIFUL CITY. Hope you loved it, its a lovely place and lots to see . A mix of modern and great history. Nancy Drew books - you could choose which way the adventure went! Lovely glimpses of Bristol too! The iconic Ss Great Britain and The Matthew!
This was a wonderful interlude to a busy season. So sweet and relaxing. Rupert is such a beautiful child and I love how beautifully you dressed him. Thanks for taking us aling, it was fun.
I'm also allergic to feathers (to the point I really can't sleep in feather bedding) and it tends to come up when I've stayed in more expensive places, because its considered a 'luxury'. I've found most places can change it for synthetic fairly easily if you ask though. It's much more difficult when you're staying at someone's house and the first thing you have to say when you're shown your bed is "sorry, I can't sleep in that bedding." Then stand around awkwardly while your host searches for alternative bedding.
If you know you're staying somewhere it's always good to find out in advance, or to give your host/s notice of allergy needs. I have the same issue with pillows/cushions.
I live in America and I have never seen a service station that nice... Glad you all had a wonderful trip. I always look forward to your videos you and Claudia give me relationship goals. I love how you two interact and Rupert is so lucky to have you both as his parents..

I'm so glad your trip was a success, you both looked relaxed. Claudia I was going no! it's a ship not a boat when you were talking about the SS Great Britain, years of my dad explaining the difference between ships and boats!! and living in Bristol and every year doing a project on it. Did you have a drink and cake in the cafe? they do amazing cakes. I can't believe how close you were to my friends house, I could have waved at you. Even though the hotel looked lovely, I'm not sure I could have coped with the wallpaper! I would have nightmares. I hope you had a lovely birthday Claudia.
I think that might be hamstone in Bath? The yellow stone that comes from the Ham area. Also, I think that's Fleet services. I agree the surroundings are nice. The building on the other side of the motorway (westbound?) is much nicer though, it looks like it's been done up fairly recently and has a large Pizza Express with outdoor seating.
The shrubbery scene was from the holy grail film. Task was set by the knights who say Ni. They then changed changed their name to the knights who say ekke ekke ekkie petang zoo boing.
If you like graphic novel type games that give you choices, Fictif and The Arcana are amazing apps. I have enjoyed their art styles and story lines and unlike Episode, they are very fair with their coins and stuff like that. (It does not include puzzle games though) and there is an option to keep your character gender neutral and the option to have romantic queer relationships!!
SS Great Britain designed by Brunel. Important historical transoceanic steam ship. We went through Bristol when we visited the UK, long ago. I don't believe it was on display then. Loving your classic style -- it's really complemented by the inn you were visiting (could've been a Christie novel).
This video was so absolutely heartwarming! Also yes, that's a lovely service station (externally) - up there alongside Tebay, though not quite as fancy.
Claudia looks just fine she shouldn't be embarrassed she looks all natural and very very sporty she looks just fine and I'm not saying this just cuz I'm an older lady who could be her mother I'm saying this because it's true. Never be never be ashamed of looking like a normal person without the glamor and the glitz of makeup you look fine.
I've worked in housekeeping and I know those cots are a nightmare! If you stay in a hotel again and you need to collapse one. Lift up the mattress and there's a cotton tab, pull it up and the whole thing will collapse!! x
Jessica, seeing you hold Rupert made me weirdly proud of you... I can't believe you're actually able to hold him even with him wiggling around in your arms, your strength training is definitely paying off! 😍😁
Claudia’s enthusiasm for solving the nap crisis by visiting TKMaxx and finding surprise hats has brightened my mood. It’s just so funny 😂
"I've either broken it or solved it... to be concluded" definitely needs to be a new quote on your merch. I think many of us can find it infinitely relatable.

I love Claude’s style, especially the hat. Let’s not forget little Ru either. Always elegant. 😆🤍
Thank you 🤗
It must be especially wonderful for Jessica to put his outfit together; I mean he is dapper !! 🤵🏻
Don't worry Jessica, my mum is a driving instructor and one of her students took their test MORE THAN 20 TIMES before they passed.

I think my gran took it like 10 times then gave up
That must've taken years
I guess it's a bad sign. Such people shouldn't be driving.

The arcana dont give enough coins
SS Great Britain designed by Brunel.
Important historical transoceanic steam ship.
We went through Bristol when we visited the UK, long ago. I don't believe it was on display then.
Loving your classic style -- it's really complemented by the inn you were visiting (could've been a Christie novel).
Jessica, you would be great at ASMR! Your whispering voice is perfect for it!
This video was so absolutely heartwarming! Also yes, that's a lovely service station (externally) - up there alongside Tebay, though not quite as fancy.
3:59 It snowed last night and there is SO MUCH SNOW on the ground right now!!! It makes me so happy 😊😊😊
Just want to thank you for the effort of filming for us. I love your travel vlogs! PS Not British, and that is a super lively service station.
I've worked in housekeeping and I know those cots are a nightmare! If you stay in a hotel again and you need to collapse one. Lift up the mattress and there's a cotton tab, pull it up and the whole thing will collapse!! x
