I can upgrade my bartalli ship to this? I am not yet ready to do this since I am still working on my worker network. I just want to know how and what to save up.

Hmm, I'm planning to make my first carrack and I have both epheria sailboat and epheria frigate. I have enough material to upgrade 1 ship to either caravel or galleas. Which one should I make first? I really want the valor carrack but I still need to do daily bartering to get the materials for it, meaning using galleas will limit my bartering later if I choose to upgrade it instead or caravel. So yeah, help me out. I don't mind getting advanced carrack but still, I can only probably offer to make 1 carrack due to time and irl stuff. Some people said just make both of them after you finish with your first one, but for me, that's takes too much time and effort. I haven't really checked it in detail, but will there be any different between making caravel or galleas in term of bartering ?
For example, I need the plywood but it takes a level 2 Barter item to get it. How do I get that level 2 Barter item? I can't see any way to barter for it.
That means that route is not available to you and you'll have to wait for reset. I normally barter for all level 1 and 2s so that isn't a problem for me.
@@TeddyTwighlite thank you, but barter stuff is heavy. Are you saying you hang on to all level 1 and 2 Barter items "just incase" you need them later? If so, where do you store them?
@@lastridge I store them in illiya Island and ancando harbor for the crow coin routes. Yeah I saved most of the ones needed and those for certain routes for later.

I know this video is a little old but is it possible to send workers to get logs (the ones used for usable scantlings)?
No sadly they don't let us use workers. Best way to get them is to go for maple or snowfield cedar to sell and save the logs on the side to use

I would choose the one you would need the most first, I went Cara and will work on getting the Frigate for monster hunting

Is the balance bad? I heard so many people down playing it
Yeah I hear the same thing. Personally for the trouble it's worth I'd commit to solely bartering or combat with how long just one takes to build
