Quick flight out to Salt Lake City for the UCLA Bruins at Utah Utes Basketball game. Nice weather on the departure but ended up landing in the snow. For some reason the camera loves to pull focus on the reflection in the mirror. Wish there was something I could do about it. I like to use a GoPro too in case that happens but because of packing limits I left it at home.

man these a321 neo engines are so quite damn it
This was excellent i love that you have the ATC audio
Nice view of the butterfly preserve. Wow those engines are quiet too!
Clear views of the valley.
Great images! I had never seen this take-off pattern on video with great visibility. You can even see the Hollywood sign at about 12:36 on the bottom right of the screen from what I estimate to be 15,000-20,000 feet.
Just shit my pants
Everyone raise your hand for @bert7196 that looked at about 12:36 because you just could not stop yourselves. Be truthful now.
that's a really tight pattern - most of the time the turn south is over torrence or way down over palos verdes.
When the engine is so quiet you can hear the tires speed up.
On the freeways below?
@@kennyw871 ??? I meant on the runway you can hear the plane’s tires spin faster.
I had a flight a few weeks back in row 5 I think in a neo. I couldn’t believe how quiet it was.
Lame
@@Deetz92 Not lame when you are trying to get sleep.
Flying is a beautiful thing.
Definitely a NEO option on this plane. Those engines are so quiet!
That's because the tips of the front fan blades do not exceed the speed of sound. As such, it's a very quiet plane.
la lights be like. wow look at that a321neo taking off from runway 24L!
I want to La California in March 2019 for a vacation
I miss the older loud buzz saw sound.
Fantastic shots.
Those Neo engines are incredibly quiet. I hope next time I fly Delta I'm fortunate to be on one
Perfect view of Elsinore Fault.
I bet I was in that 737-800 that zoomed past as soon as the video started.
That was a Boeing 767 at the very start of the video. A 737 was taking off at the 2:35 minute mark of the video clip.
Much better!!! I like how you allow autopilot to eliminate the fast left and right turning. This points out how well you listen to your viewers. thank you!!!
Stunning engine and prettier view!
SMO in the screenshot, heck yes
Interesting view. I watch L A Flights on TH-cam all the time. This is a hole new prospective from the air.
Get ready!
Shine the light!
The image and sound are so crispy!
Great video! Subbed.
PW is on top of GTF issues.
A321 Neo is currently the best plane.
ya sure this is Delta 1625? I heard 1625 over the ATC audio, and 1625 is usually assigned to a A321-191 that goes between LGA and MIA
Yes the flight number is correct. Flight numbers are not always fixed to a specific route forever. Some are. LAX-SLC had DL1625 from January 8, 2024 to March 9, 2024. Prior to that DL1625 was JFK-PBI with the 737. This flight was on January 10, 2024.
@@LAXTravels ah ok! Thanks for teaching me something new, my dream career is the become a pilot for one of the big US carriers. Your channel help me dream big! Thanks alot!
It's the flight number not the aircraft number the number on the tail I believe. In the USA the "N" number.
@@REAGAN_1980The aircraft registration is the number on the tail starting with N.
Take-off is at 4:15
These people who believe a in a flat earth obviously have never been on a plane.
Or used their brain.
High angle climb so when they turn back east they comply with noise abatement
Yup! I like the turn and climb out on the ORKA5 Departure out of LAX! Sometimes it really pushes you back in your seat!
Great video. How did you get the air traffic control & pilot communication?
LiveATC.net
love this SID DOTSS2 takes wyou wau out then bring you back in above FL100
Noise abatement procedure. Must be able to cross LAX at or above 12000'.
yup Cali got some crazy rules, here in NJ and NY they GAF @@michaelsimpson8010
A friend of mine with the NTSB asked me, “what is that barrel under the wing with the spinny thing inside?”
you take so many flights, what do you do for a living ?
Speeding out of LA - the only way to travel
Hellooo are the engines on??
Maybe next time?
How did you even get ATC audio in this? Delta doesn’t have a channel like United ch9 used to
Apps
@@shrimpflea but not during flight right? Can i ask what app ?
And if you'd recorded further San Jacinto and San Andreas.
You might able to find it in one of my longer videos that I previously posted. Sometimes I record longer. Lots and lots of departures from LAX
how do you get ATC ?
There are apps for that.
And then I-15 split at Temecula.
Where is this planed headed, Hawaii?
If it is, it's taking the long way.
Salt Lake City (flight details in description)
Helsinki
Sigh. I hate these LEAP engines. I miss the sounds of the CFM. Now they just have a tone. Eww.
These are Pratts
@@christopherwaits7852 ok well these suck too. And normally I like Pratts.
first
Wouldn't it be cheaper to watch the game on TV?
Thanks for reading the description! Yes it would be cheaper but it is an annual tradition I have with a friend and we have a good time. The trip is about more than just the game.
