Imagine if this series slowly gets more dark and disturbing, and eventually, it’s revealed that Wiblix is actually dissecting these monsters to know about their anatomy
I mean, Wiblix does have the brains of the monsters he previously dissected. (At 4:34 they are all shown and labeled accordingly to each episode.)

i always thought punkleton actually had vines going around its body and moving it not inside but in function the same. like my idea was that punkleton find a skeleton brings it out of the ground and laches on it to move around.

Do you think you could do an evolutionary tree or something when you’re done with this series? Or is that too difficult?
That’s a cool idea! I wonder if there would be one species that gave way to all the others, or if there were multiple origins that made the monsters so diverse?

That's so cool. I always thought Punkleton was brought to life through enchantment of some kind, but seeing it as potentially biological entirely gives me second thoughts. Great job!

like 6 years ago I drew MSM but Undertale stuff. Your choices make a lot more sense than mine did, though. (Tbf there were no bone monsters then for Sans and Papyrus besides Bona-Petite and Punkleton but whatever I was a stupid kid.) Anyways, this was an amazing episode as always. This series is so astoundingly good.

I regularly work out while watching your videos, and I finished planking as the video ended, and the music just made me crack up😭
My theory for the rare punkleton glow head thing: maybe, the rare punkleton head was used as a jack o lantern, so they carved the top of its head and put a candle in, but since the seeds hanging out, maybe they didn’t take the seeds out and maybe the head caught on fire with the candle in it, which is why there’s a glow when the rare punkleton takes the bag off, and maybe why he where’s a bag because, yeah

Greetings👋. A magnificent video indeed, interestingly beforehand I've came into the same conclusions as yours, tho with some dissonance between the two. About the bone structure that the punkleton has, i thought it was some kind of fibrous exoskeleton, something composed like wood; and the eye carvings could work as actual eyes (the cuttlefish posses "w" shaped eyes, so "half moon" shaped eye openings aren't really that farfetched) if inside the gourd there were light sensitive tissue or something, like how the ocelli of arthropods work, but that's everything. Thank you for your attention, bye-bye👋.

So that explains the high level of o2 in seasonal shanty.
I think that rare punkleton also doesnt have something like lower jaw, because of what egg looks like
I believe punkleton is a long lifed creature, created as a hybrid of a pumpkin and a man, years ago. Over time, his flesh has rotted, but his head has survived, even through being cut at the top. This proves the creature’s strength. Normal punkleton is at his middle stage of life, because as you said, rare punkleton has his head guts hanging out of the paper bag over his head, and is clearly rotting, even his skeleton. He possibly even pulled a Kanye and made all the monsters mad, causing him to be abused and casted away, hence the paper bag.

Hey creeptanium as much as I like your monster biology vids and I agree mostly with the interpritation of the anatomy I have different interpritation of it's adaptaitons sutch as I personaly think the bones are more akin to an exoskelliton and the pumpkin head is merely imitating carved smunkins (apologies if I misspelled any words)

My theory is that Punkleton is actually just the pumpkin, leaves, and vines, and the skeleton is just a Spooktacle decoration it wrapped itself around.

I had theory back then that the Punkleton is ACTUALLY the skeleton and the leaves and shmumkin are simply cosmetic, and the pumpkin moved cuz the soul of the skeleton also haunted its new mask.
And then rare punkleton came around and wrecked said theory
