- Cantorell didn’t really have a lot going on inside it! Although the actions of the bigger head are surely odd and worth talking about. What do you think is up with the larger head of the Cantorell? Is it infected, affected by psychedelic substances, or something else?

I've always thought the smaller head is afraid of whatever has happened to his twin, maybe worried for it and/or the fact that they share a body and it could spread to him if it is a disease.
Here's my (not very scientific) theory about why the left Cantorell head doesn't seem to think straight. Assuming the right head grew first (I have no evidence for that), it probably didn't know how to operate the entire Cantorell, which caused the development of the bigger head to be... off. Due to this, the brain wasn't developed correctly, which caused the bigger head to act crazy.
So basically like the Scorpios Rex?
The right head is smaller suggesting it grew second

Glad this was the monster done for this episode, the mushroom boy has by far been one of the most interesting episodes I’ve seen from this series. Honestly if anything it has taught me more that I have ever learned in school. Also loved the added rare and epic ideas you had.

The bigger mushroom got infected by a parasite, while the smaller one is praying for his life that the bigger one gets the parasite out of him
If the right head is under mind control or some mental affect, then it makes sense that the left head will stay awake in the sleeping animation to make sure it doesn't do anything.

It was actually explained in the first SkyPainting livestream that Cantorells can get up and move freely whenever they want to. They didn’t say how though

4:12 i do need to make a correction here. What you’re looking at is ophiocordyceps unitalis. Cordyceps mushrooms are a different genus after being genetically analyzed and sequenced. So ophiocordyceps is the mind controller, not cordyceps.

I think that Fire Monsters that aren’t on Amber Island shouldn’t be covered. Their bio in the original game could be very helpful. That’d only leave 5 out anyways, and by the time episode 5 releases, that number of Fire monsters not yet on Amber Island will be even less.

I hope it's PongPing because it's ear slapping move indicates that it's either hollow which would be weird or it's ear canals would be connected straight to the mouth which would be interesting to view
Edit: I had not a clue Tiawa and Candelavra would be in Amber Wave 7, to make it more accurate, replace Tiawa and Candelavra to Incisaur and Bisonaurus

Not that creptainium has mentioned mycelium it reminds me of dermet which has mushrooms on it. And now that I think about it does that mean the mushrooms that grow on its back have mycelium growing inside of it imagine how that would feel. That means the dermet is host to a small network of mushrooms growing inside it's skin. Now I can't unsee or forget it
They are probably not mycelium or mushrooms, rather either parasitic, non mycelium mushrooms, or mold and lichen. It does seem more like mold due to the amphibious design, suggesting water life.
