You can't play all PS4 titles, and many of them on PS5, take a closer look. You obviously haven't played many games, so you can see that there is no big difference between the graphics at all, except that it has a faster HDD and SSD, and you can put that in the PS4 Pro, even the game Star Wars Survival, which was for the PS5 and could not be played on PS4 and now it can be played on PS4, it works better on PS4 than on PS5, and on PS5 it has 150 GB and again it looks and works bad as if you are playing on PS4 console and it works much better there. What PS5 Pro will be able to do is it should be a regular PS5, even more. You should be able to play games in native 4K, 120 fps, with Ray Tracing together on a regular PS5. While the PS5 Pro should run games in 144 Hz, native 4K and Ray Tracing AND 60hz, 8K with Ray Tracing, but it's not like that at all. Such a huge console size and so weak, it's really funny. Sony PlayStation has become so cocky and flying high that it will fall so low and fail.
The PS4 has more features and is the last Japanese made console they closed down Japan Studios and continue censorship on Japanese developers so why would i upgrade to a overpriced machine with hardly any strong Japan support & you can't find a PS5 still even in Japan
Just in case anyone is wondering, even PS4 games like Path of Exile, that never released a PS5 version, still gets a huge improvement playing on PS5. I have been playing necromancer this season with 50 minions on screen on PS5, but when I tried to play the same build on my friend’s ps4, it is just so lagged and unplayable. Also load time feels like 5x faster comparing to PS4
I really hope that this year every gamer gets to experience the same joy I did when I got my PS5 a few weeks ago 😁 I'm glad that this console is becoming even more easier to obtain. Have fun when you get your console 💙

I got my PS5 last christmas. Coming from PC, the Dualsense is what makes me interested and it has been a whole new experience for me. I hope more games will take advantage of the Dualsense features just like Astro's Playroom

If you dont use game discs versions than you can wait. If you plan on buying the disc version of games you arent sure about in hopes of selling them to Gamestop or offerup then you will want to buy the ps5 now. The slim version will no longer have disc on the hardware it will be an accessory you will have to purchase seperately

I love my PS5 so much, ordered it officially from the Sony website and I have to say it's more than impressive, I just can't wait to see the improved graphics and gameplay starting this year with spider man 2 and many other games to come! I can replay all my PS4 games with much better performance and it's nothing but a great dream to play my games faster than ever!! Thanks Sony!!!

Bought my PS5 on launch day 2 years ago and it's still the best gaming experience i have ever had. Spiderman and horizon fw are my top PS5 games choices if you wanna get blown away by the power of this machine. Also recommend playing astro's playroom completely the moment you get a PS5 if u wanna experience everything about the dualsense.

the slims are never cheaper upon release. They reduce prices of the fat consoles, and keep the slims at the original price. Its not till the next gen releases that they actually start reducing console prices. Ps4 was still like $500 CAD when the ps5 was announced at a price of $730CAD

Backward compatibility is the greatest thing to ever exist, imagine being able to play you old games collection from the previous generations like ps3 and ps2, unfortuantly it is only for ps4 games.
Ps3 and ps2 use completely different hardware than the ps4 and ps5. To make it fully backwards compatible you would technically need both ps3 and ps5 hardware all in one console
Playstation Direct, check once or twice a day and they're available. It was hard to get them 2 months after launch LOL. It's been a few weeks on all nighter streams trying to get one
When I don't have to purchase a bundle with games and accessories I don't care about, I will gladly do the upgrade. Till then, I'll keep my ps4, after all I still have some cross-gen and older ps4 games in my backlog to play so no need to hurry ❤️
On the Series X you don’t have to download a separate version of the game, the console automatically detects the game if he have series x version, and no need to transfer save files, truly next gen experience

I've had my ps5 for over a year now and it's already given me many problems like a faulty HDMI port to controller issues with stick drift and sensitive triggers. Some certain games just seem to crash for no reason. Also the headphone jack in one of the controllers just stopped working. The graphics and the 60+ fps in most games is definitely nice, but personally I've had far from a "smooth" gaming experience ever since I got my ps5.
the thing I love most about the PS5 is it comes with backwards compatibility to EVERY game made for older consoles. Xbox couldnt even do that with 360 games when they released the Xbox One. PS4 came with full backwards compatibility support at launch. Plus the games that can be upgraded for free from PS4 to PS5 is awesome. Im pretty sure Xbox doesnt even do that, you have to buy some stupid cross-gen bundle if you want to play a last gen released game on a new gen console. Making the switch from Xbox one to PS5 was the best choice of my life. Such a better UI, so many better exclusive games, and Sony support is way more helpful and easier to reach than Xbox support. Love you Sony!

Only gripe I have about playing ps4 games on ps5 is that some games are missing the vibration feature. I have to switch from using a dualsense to ds4 just because of that.

Get yourself a ssd and install it. I now have an extra 1tb for ps5 games and external for ps4 games

I had my ps5 console for a year already and I can say it's one of the best consoles made. I haven't played on my ps4 in months and I like the ps5 console. It makes playing games a dream and if you want one you can buy them everywhere. Happy gaming to everyone
Wait until the Ethernet port and the controller break then let me know 😅 I had 2 controllers changes and now I'm waiting for the Ethernet port to be fixed or the entire console changed with a used one. It's already been 18 days and the port broke 1 year ago, after only 1 year of life

Definitely not the case in countries such as Baltic States, Poland, Scandinavia. Also prices are not official retail 500$, but a 700-900$. I am definitely not paying for this overpriced peace of garbage this price, rather i am investing such money to my other hobbies that are more healthy and productive than gaming

I've had my ps5 for over a year now and it's already given me many problems like a faulty HDMI port to controller issues with stick drift and sensitive triggers. Some certain games just seem to crash for no reason. Also the headphone jack in one of the controllers just stopped working. The graphics and the 60+ fps in most games is definitely nice, but personally I've had far from a "smooth" gaming experience ever since I got my ps5.
Because metal shiekd on ports made drom scraps and very tin and soft... Very common damage broken hdmi.
Honestly felt. Just got a pc the other day and it’s miles ahead tbh

the thing I love most about the PS5 is it comes with backwards compatibility to EVERY game made for older consoles. Xbox couldnt even do that with 360 games when they released the Xbox One. PS4 came with full backwards compatibility support at launch. Plus the games that can be upgraded for free from PS4 to PS5 is awesome. Im pretty sure Xbox doesnt even do that, you have to buy some stupid cross-gen bundle if you want to play a last gen released game on a new gen console. Making the switch from Xbox one to PS5 was the best choice of my life. Such a better UI, so many better exclusive games, and Sony support is way more helpful and easier to reach than Xbox support. Love you Sony!

Only gripe I have about playing ps4 games on ps5 is that some games are missing the vibration feature. I have to switch from using a dualsense to ds4 just because of that.
