Not only is the dual climate impressive, but so is a 5 speed auto for 1994
Your german ist pretty decent ;) The green and blue colour scheme in the interior is typical for Alpina, almost all of them have this on the seats (when the car ist equipped with leather the stitching ist green/blue) and the steering wheel. On the outside the trademark is the golden pinstriping and the wheel design like on this car. Greetings from southern Germany, only 30 miles away from the factory in Buchloe / Bavaria.
Ever since I was a kid, I've always been in love with Alpina's.
More often than not, they'd be my choice over even the mighty Motorsport products.
I just can't get enough of the extra sportiness over the standard models, but combined with massive touches of luxury in a sportier, yet still subtle and a maybe even a bit understated look.
For most, it's "just" a BMW. But for those who know...oooh they know it's much, much more, down to the specific VIN number and being labeled as a different brand altogether by the German Government (just like RUF and their Porsche-based cars).
Thanks for yet another great review!
Three reviews in a day! Hell yeah!
Excellent and effortlessly fluent German!
The classy, luxurious alternative to the M3. Alpinas are slept on. This was not a car for corner carving but for blasting up the Autobahn.
as long as you adjust the valves everyday this car will hold together
You ain't lying
Hopefully one day you can drive my 94 Sunbird Coupe
My coworker/roommate in college had a 94 coupe. We worked at a grocery store and after we closed up at night, we used to drive it full speed into shopping carts and see how far we could launch them 😂
7:04 - So THAT'S why we never see BMW drivers use their signal. That sound is ridiculous.
You find real gems
One of my dream cars!
nice buy the changed the mirrors
Very cool
Sweet.
Actually alpina originally made typewriters not carburetors.
CLEAN!!!
I believe you could get cloth on the base 318ti here in the United States
Correct
@@yaboidaryl1 Yeah I had a 97 BMW 328i. I'm 24 and would see these and the e46 generation as a kid. Fast forward to today alot of them where I live have rust issues, oil leaks, etc. I bought mine for a thousand from some old guy that had it for a while and it had 230k miles on it. I fixed it up and it was my pizza delivery car for a bit
Nice
This was posted at THIS hour and I’m here for every second of it😎😎
Switchtronic, not shiftronic, also has the wrong wheels on and rear headrests were not available on the B3 3.0
You have to try a B8 E36 and you will forget all others E36 😂
"it made more hp then the M3??? What? Euro spec M3 made 283 in 3.0,then 321 in 3.2form.
So this car someone added the m mirrors as there’s no other M sport options
Wow you speak german
@@Brian_Eugene_Lee Not really. I live in Germany and never heard that name before. There is a mountain region in northern Italy (South Tyrol) called the Pradel plateau, where sometimes a quirky german dialect is spoken. But mostly they speak italian.
2:21 only in North America. European M3s of the time made close to 300.
Happy Dougcember...Umm - not this channel
I've commented on your intros, now I'm commenting on your outro, AWESOME!!
You speak German, or you just learned how to say that phrase?
That's what I was wondering - is he really fluent, or did he just rehearse that sentence?
@@mbd501 We demand an answer 🤣
