Hey that car is mine now
Hope you didn't pay his full price
@@thevduberThis thing in europe would be 5K max.
@@marcoadamberger4456 yep maybe 7k because of the special spec.
@@thevduber That spec isnt that special here ^^.
Unfortunately, the auto manufacturers don't offer wagons in the United States that Europe gets. They only make SUVs/crossovers for America. For example, the Toyota Corolla wagon is not offered in the USA
Which is sad because wagon is literarily all what most people need in practice.
Its much more useful than sedan with literarily no tradeoff, fact americans had that stupid attitiude to wagons for so long that they ruined any chances for this reemerge in 2000s before marketting lies about SUVs took over is a tragedy, and legitimate efforts from american makes that did make few nice wagons.
Stupid law with loop holes for SUVs is also majorily to blame and it made wagons imported from outside more expensive.
This is the reason why only wagon sold with proper pricing in US is Subaru Outback and it's marketted as SUV so people dont get turned off by "the W-word"
why would they wagons are less than 3% of the market no money to be made
Captain obvious
@@TwoDollarGararge Becsuse they and the US law made it so. Cars are required to pass emissions and safety standards which are costly and CUVs, SUVs /Pickup trucks(light trucks according to legislation loopholes) dont, as they have very lax version of these, even tho all CUVs and vast majority of SUVs are not light trucks at all and are just cars lifted a bit.
Other thing is idiotic chicken tax that is still there ever since 70s. That is forced onto any import cars, trucks and other cars unless they are assembled in US. Which mames all european and asian wagons over priced if they are even offered in USA.
Subaru Outback is built in america and avoids this stupid tax and in result is only wagon that costs what a wagon version of Subaru Legacy should.
You dont have Camry or Accord wagons tho, so its literarily one against a sea of hedious pickups trucks and suvs.
Manufacturers also pushed for SUVs as it was and is more profitable and its tge "woman car" they were scrumbling cluelessly around for so long. Women want to seat up high, kill he other person/people in a crash and "not get killed" and feel "secure". All this is what suvs make them feel usually is a lie in case of CUVs and just makes roads less safe for everyone with tall vision obstructing super heavy vehicles than just get heavier as time goes on.
So with all this in consideration its no surprising why. It's also why its slowly happening in europe. Marketting and mainly women push their men to buy suvs and buy them themselves or get such from their parents as their first cars.
Originally from Germany but has Lithuanian export plates. Nice clean E36, lot of them are run into ground or riced out.
what a work of art e30,e36 and e46 are aging like fine wine
3:29 I think, this is a mistake. The E92 definetly didn't have a steering wheel like that. This looks more like a E39 steering wheel.
It is in fact a e39 wheel
Yeah that's a e39 M sport wheel
I believe it was used in e36s m sport and the Z3s. It could be original. Definitely not from an E92.
The net deviding the cargo space from the back seat never was mandatory in Germany. May be in Lithuania where this car seems to come from because of the registration plates. Although the telephone display shows german language. Maybe the xar was originally from Germany than exported to Lithuania and from there it came to the US.
Don’t believe it is mandatory in Lithuania. Also those are Lithuanian export/temporary plates
What a beauty!!!!! Comming from south america, we didnt get many wagons. Travel to Europe and see all the wagon version of cars your already know feels different.
Nice video man.
We got the wagons in Brazil! But only 323i and 328i 96+ I am a proud owner of one!
Boa boa seats were available in Europe, not just in Germany. They're not even rare here. Power rear windows was an option on all Tourings, regardless of engine choice.
Wagons are cool. This one has everything you need and nothing you don't. It's a shame that BMW is no longer the ultimate driving machine but rather the ultimate look at me machine.
they have always been that also just happened to drive good the E30 and Saab were default yuppie cars fuck what people think embrace it
Say you date underage girls without saying it
Great video, cool to see
I'm usually a BMW fan, but I am a wagon fan, & with all the great things this has going for it, I love it!
If the 328i from BMW was still available I would be happy to buy it but with a automatic transmission not a manual transmission and get it as a AWD vehicle
Fellow Lithuanian 🙌🏻 nice wagon
E36 😊 wow awesome car
Nice review! Kinda looks like the mercedes AMG package from the 80's
It's a really sick, unique car! Classic Beemer lines + a little extra
This car is truly Euro. The ash tray at 4:39 even has € coins in it 😉
Some have dividers some dont, I had 2 Tourings and only 1 had it, the side panels always fall out because people dont notice the latch buttons above them and break the latch.
Someone managed to fit the mirror adjustment switch upside down.
So cool
Very, very nice, just wanted to say that the 328i Touring wasn't just for the German market, although it is effectively the best bet to find one as it's the primary European market for high powered cars.
The exhaust sounds good but must get annoying on a long drive.
It's like Hondas with fart cannons or diesel pickups that sound like a jet engine. It's fun for five minutes but then it gets old fast.
Yeah these bmws sound like crap
the i6 tend to quiet down just put it in the highest gear
The plates are in fact from Lithuania
Let’s get those video likes up, people!
FYI: those plates are not German.
Correct, but it’s IS a national German/Austria model. It just had a detour in Eastern Europe before export
Real dream wagon here. This is probably the #1 car on my 25-year-rule wishlist.
PS- German translation note. "Rot" rhymes with "goat" 😊
The german word "rot" for the colour red only rhymes with "goat" in English if you pronounce it in a quite strong Glaswegian accent.
how much do these go for? i never even thought about an e36 wagon.
The one in the video was bought on cars and bids for $7500
@@Dragon228833 not to bad thanks for the update
@@andrethevegan_ we bit of misinformation. The one that sold that low was a 320i. 328’s go for a few grand more
@@Dragon228833 gotcha thanks
@@Dragon228833 in my neighborhood there one 328i 95 touring for 2000$ gonna buy it tomorrow asap
If its from Germany, why are Lithuanian plates on it?
That divider is aftermarket, they were never a legal requirement. Iirc people use them mainly when they transport their dog in the trunk.
A Lithuanian license plate... I'd never buy a car from that country 😂.
Wow I'm impressed how ugly this modified car looks compared to a standard one.
It looks M'ish. With that low I guess factory body kit.
